Kim, I enjoyed your vlog, I'd like to see more and appreciate the time you spend. Would you please tell me where you purchased the sponge bat you did trimming on? Thx!
Fabulous!! That platter is amaaazing!! You said you applied amber quartz to it. Did you mean amaryllis? I ordered some of those placemats to make some pieces with. Can’t wait till they get here. Thanks for sharing. In that spot where the glaze pools and bubbles I always go over that area when all the glaze is dry and scrape a good amount of glaze out of that spot. Hope that helps.
@@undsethpottery So you didn’t mean Amber quartz?? Hahaha. We are going to find out what that combo looks like because I just did 3 pieces with it!! Omg!! Hahaha. I should have just waited for you to get back to me but you sounded so sure! So all you put was flux blossom and amaryllis? Wow. I’ll definitely let you know how these turn out with the amber quarts!!!
Engobe is basically an under glaze and doesn’t stick at all, underglaze on the other hand has a bit of flux in it, so it can sometimes stick! Engobes are basically clay with stain!
Thank you!
Love this kilnopening! Always such a nice colours!❤

what did you put under the platter to fire it? or is the englobe an underglaze?
