Boeing 777-9X Rollout

Launched in November of 2013, our new Boeing 777-9X was unveiled on March 13th, at a Boeing employee factory rollout ceremony in Everett, Washington. Elizabeth Lund, former Vice President and General Manager of the 777 program, was on hand to host the event. Featuring a huge graphite composite wing spanning 235 feet from tip to tip, and a fuselage length of 252 feet, the new 9X is now the largest aircraft in the Boeing fleet, in terms of overall length and wingspan. Yeah, it's kind of cool to see many familiar faces in the video, and yes, "Learning to Fly" is a great song, written primarily by David Gilmour, a multi-rated licensed pilot.
