Wow, this is so much on another level of building. I'm trying for the first time building a sword with a glowing blade (Yuma's Sword from Rain Code). It works well enough so far, maybe 10 days from finishing it. There are some little technics in this video that give me good ideas, even do my build is mich more basic out of wood and foam. Great video. I was planning to film my work as well, but something terrible happened which put the priority for that down to zero.
I'd imagine this cost hundreds of hours and his labour costs would be insane (at least I hope he values himself like that) So these things would probably go for the price of cars

My god i learned so much just by watching it! Heating up a spring and melt it into the plastic for a switch and another to hold the cotton swab! Never seen the cotton swab idea before! That was a nice touch, was that recycled filament you used? My ideal job! Lol, Take care and have a great day!
Damn. You have so much finesse. Most of the vids I've seen with cosplay weapons making end up looking a bit corny and cheap, yours looks so refined. The only critique i have is that the sword light doesn't look that clean in regular lighting. But even then, it's very minor. The whole piece looks awesome.
have you tried electroplating?? i´ve seen that you can do this on plastics too.. it´ll be the ultimate look to paint over real metal looking surface,.. crazy awesome what you have done man... hat tip for u!
if someone could figure out 3d printing where you couldn't see layer lines on the finished product that would be a complete game changer. I mean straight off the machine. I realize with sanding and painting you can make them go away completely but it is A LOT of work especially on complex geometries.
This is next level craftsmanship. You should sell these if not already especially for cosplayers

You should wear rubber gloves during the spraying. Save you clean up time later and possibly some cancer.

構造上的還原度很高，不知道整體製作時間要多久
近看會發現一些細節上跟原版的差異(基本是顏色問題)
1.原版刀柄跟刀身有色差，刀柄顏色比較亮，刀鞘有裝管子那塊跟刀柄同色
2.原版供電瓶偏紅
3.刀鞘上綠色整體偏輛
另外，刀鞘上的燈光旁邊的噴漆邊緣拉近看感覺不太平整，可能是噴漆貼紙或撕紙的時候造成的
