    Why would a market be due for a correction while also being due for gains after that?

      There is something called exhaustion where a market is overbought or oversold for a given period, where because of hype everything gets extremely overvalued.. hence the smallest thing to hit investors as bad news would cause a correction… if the news are seriously bad and come in waves that can even cause a market crash, then again good news and company earnings may extend previous bull runs.. and so on

    When exactly, in two months, 2025, 2026? thanks for the info, what should we invest in? treasuries, defensive stocks, safe monthly dividend stocks.
