    Your opinion on Triphasic training? Eccentric phase is to build strength but how should we begin to implement plyos/explosive movements into the isometric and concentric phases? How do we still maintain strength properly in these last two phases?

      I remember someone asking about this on one of his Instagram lives. I think Isaiah said something like it has good things that all programs need, and that is why it's so successful. I think he also said that Ben Patrick and John Evans had a heated discussion about something training related (I don't remember specifically though). It sounds to me like kneesovertoes isn't specific enough to jumping for it to be super relevant. I would love a video on this though to clear any misunderstandings!

      @BlackMayo don't think thats gonna happen they don't like each other that much😅.
      Isaiah did his workouts in 2019 and he wasn't really happy with the results

    do you think working on balancing my jump approaches is worth it? I use right left the most and the other three approaches are no where close to my RL one

      If you play basketball or volleyball then getting somewhat proficient at the other 3 jumps will be valuable as you'll be more adaptable and have more options, however you should still be prioritising your best approach so that you can maximise your vert. You wanna be great at your best approach and just solid at the other 3 rather than just solid at all of them

    Has that bump on your tibial tuberosity gotten any smaller? This is my first season with knee pain and the exact same thing happened to me. I’ve been wondering if this bump will be around forever or not 😂

    what consideration(s) should us older folks make/take for managing the pain associated with jumping frequently?

      Always warm up properly before doing anything intense like basketball or dunking, don't work through more than a 3/10 pain, monitor pain 24 hours after training and see if it increased and if it did then you the work you did was too much. Those are just a few

    Hey Isaiah, I know you talked about patellar tendonopothy in this video but im getting an 8/10 pain at the top of the kneecap. I tried resting for about a week or so which helped it reduce to a 6/10 but as I started jumping again the knee pain has risen back to an 8/10. Any advice?

      stop jumping, and start with less intense exercices, it's all about progressive loading to build step by step the tendon
      else go to a doctor

    Should I still do plyos if I play volleyball 3-4 times a week? I used to do 2 plyos sessions jumps went up but tendons didnt like it.
