Awesome. I got turned on to these about 6 months ago and had been buying just the seeds, which is expensive. I bought the fruit and tried seeding it myself which took forever and I lost many of the seeds. Your technique was excellent!Thank You.
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial! I got a GIANT of a pomegrenate the other day (1 whole kilogramme clean off the hook), and I managed to get ALL of the seeds out this way without making a mess. My mother had never had a pomegrenate before, and I was happy to share it with her.
thank you so so much for this valuable video. i recently purchased 2 ginormous pomegranates...probably double the size of the one u used! so i knew i had my work cut out for me. your video helped SO much. brilliant technique, it's perfect. this is the way i will cut all my pomegranates in the future. actually i never cut one before, so using your video as a guideline, it came out perfectly!! no mess, i didn't destroy any seed, everything came apart beautifully into 6 chambers just like yours. it took me a bit longer to de-seed the whole fruit, even with the knife-tapping technique because my pomegranate wasn't quite as ripe, although the seeds tasted sweet but they weren't as dark. i normally love to eat pomegranates but i always purchased the seeds on their own & never the whole fruit. i'm so glad i did & let me reiterate, your demonstration is on point. thank you so much!!!
Peeling the pomegranate and harvesting the seeds had always been a meditation and exercise in patience.I was enjoying a bowl of the sweet-tart seeds when I decided to check out youtube for an easier way to get those babies ..I found the right channel alright. Thank you for making some of my life a little easier.Nice to learn the real method from an expert!
This is a great video.. we are given instruction in north america when you buy a pom and it basically has you break it open and pick the seeds out one by one.. this video is what they should be recommending.. thank you!
Thank you so much for this video. I have avoided pomegranates because visually they are intimidating if you never opened one before. This video made it VERY easy thank you again!
I love to eat Pomegranates and I have always cut them open the wrong way and made a huge mess and always hated having to cut up the pomegranate. This video you made has changed my life! Thank you teacher :-)
I agree that out of all the videos on youtube your approach to peeling and eating a pomegranate is easy and clean. Not to mention that you are harmonious with the fruit...you are working with its nature rather than going against it. I've never seen anyone bite into a pomegranate the way you did. I have one waiting for him when I get home. Can't wait. Oh and I love the sexy accent. Thank you
You never think about the Pomegranate struggle. You never think it will happen to you, but one day you'll be out at Asda kidding yourself you're shopping for another one of them mad diets and you'll pick one of these up and be super excited to eat it. Then you get home and start to butcher it and realise. .No one ever told you how to cut a pomegranate, The intricacy of such a small thing blows your freeking mind. Sweet video. Much helpz
Beautifully done! Me and my son just had our first pomegranate and we did it ALL wrong! He forced it open and seeds went flying EVERYWHERE! Lol thank you for this!
thank you so much! everytime i have tried to open one of these my kitchen counter and surrounding areas look as if i slaughtered someone. Your method is easy and perfect and you dont lose any of that wonderful juice.
This is the best technique I have seen so far. Much better than the underwater technique which uses a bowl, water and more mess. We had a couple pomegranate trees at my house while growing up so we ate them when in season but we always made a mess. Thanks for the useful info. Now I know how! (o=
Awesome tutorial!!!! Been eating these all of my life and never knew how to do this! I have one of these beauties in my kitchen and my son and I are going to give this a try! Thank you!
I loved the way you handled this so delicious fruit that sometimes m we think twice before eat it , due to the big mess; now that you thought us how to open it out, I won't be afraid of eating it at any place. Thanks!
That is awesome! Pomegranates are my absolute most favorite food in the world but I very rarely eat them because of the hassle in getting to the seeds (especially with the yellow bits and pieces I keep having to rinse away). I'll have to try that next time I get one. Thank you kindly for this demonstration.
Great!! My landlady has a pomegranate bush in the front yard of the house I live in. Now I'll know how to open one of those babies. The thing that I was amazed about was learning that they don't grow on trees. Ya learn something new everyday.
it is this video that I go by to cut open and eat my poms, I had my first one a few weeks ago, I have eaten over a dozen now, i'm so addicted to them :) thank you for the nice video tutorial.
why would someone even dislike this video? come on, the guy showed us THE way to peel and eat this. believe me, I wish I had seen this video sooner.... hours have I wasted by peeling it piece by piece... :p
He is Kurdish from KURDISTAN ! how do i know ? by his name Peshwaz Faizulla and the music playing in the background. I'm also kurdish and in kurdish we say HANNAR/POMEGRANATE and also in arabic ROMAAN or ROMANNA. It is one of the most delicious and healthiest fruit . In Canada we buy them as individuals and its expensive, its sometimes $2,50 for each and in middle east its very affordable and i remember filling up the bag every time we bought it and the size and the taste 10x better when you buy it fresh unlike the ones we buy them here in Canada but its still sweet. how ever this technique was also new to me and i agree its one of the best ways to brake it . Cheers
