if you're under enemy fire but also want to eat some delicious pomegranate, you can also bite off the top part of the fruit, count to three, then throw it in their direction

While he is using a real pomegranate, he's using the far rarer Mediterranean variety that's been blowing up online for the past couple months due to it's striking visual appearance.
the more common and traditional South American pomegranate that you'll find in your local grocery store looks pretty similar on the outside to the Mediterranean but the inside looks totally different. it's more of an open crevice with the edible stuff lining the inside. basically, if you know what a goatse looks like, then you know what a pomegranate looks like

Do be careful everyone about that last method, it really can spray juice everywhere. Someone did it at our local train station and there was pomegranate juice ALL over the tracks. They cordoned off the area with some yellow tape to make sure no one stained their clothing. A person was sobbing uncontrollably nearby - I assume she was part of the janitorial staff and had to clean up all the pomegranate juice. I love pomegranates and swiped a little bit of the juice when I could, though the iron tracks made it taste all metallic.

I like how the first method he showed is actually three methods combined. The flashy cut method, the wooden spoon method and the submerging method.
The best way to clean a pomegranate is to cut it in half, side to side. Submerge it in a bucket of water and remove all seeds from the shell with your fingers. Discard the shell, stir the water and take a sieve to remove the white flesh that floats to the top. Strain the water from the seeds and you're done.
No special cuts needed, no wooden spoon or rolling pin necessary. Maximum result.

The best way of getting the seeds out of a pomegranate was demonstrated to my family by a man in a remote hotel on a mountain while several more people watched with fascination. Just cut the pomegranate in half, hold the half over a plate/bowl/container of choice, and tap it (but put some oomph into it!) at an angle with a spoon/fork/utensil of choice. The seeds just fall out super easy. My 10 year old mind was blown, same as my parents', and I haven't forgotten it since.

Cheese is a dairy product, derived from milk and produced in wide ranges of flavors, textures and forms by coagulation of the milk protein casein. It comprises proteins and fat from milk, usually the milk of cows, buffalo, goats, or sheep. During production, the milk is usually acidified and the enzymes of either rennet or bacterial enzymes with similar activity are added to cause the casein to coagulate. The solid curds are then separated from the liquid whey and pressed into finished cheese. Some cheeses have aromatic molds on the rind, the outer layer, or throughout. @@gwennorthcutt421 get a cherry pitter. I thought it was a gimmick but tried it coz I have young kids and cbf’ed cutting a million cherries by hand and staining my fingers for a year. And they work really well! I’ve got one that pits 6 cherries at once, so I get to many pitted cherries in no time. I’m tempted to use them to bake a cherry pie, but it usually doesn’t last long enough in the house to wait for someone to be bothered to make pie.
