Storm Tree Chipping. Things Not To Run Thru Chipper.

Chipping up 2 trailer loads of brush from storm tree cleanup. Found tree lopers and a lighter from trailer of brush a neighbor had to dump into trailer.

Bert, how old is that chipper?? 80's? the simplest machines often last the longest . I mean, shear pins, joint, teeth.... not much easier than that!

The knives hold up well if not running a bunch of dirty wood. I may pull them out soon to sharpen them.

Chipper might be old but seems to get the job done ok. Bunkers are perfect for that stuff.

Tree service guys put very large diameter branches in the Chipper I wish they would cut it up& leave it on the curb for firewood! 8" -12" inches ? They say easier less work for them!

I dont disagree with them. It takes less time to chip than cut up and haul away.
