Hard to describe how crazy it was to be in that room. A once in a lifetime experience. Seeing them play this masterpiece in that small space, full goosebumps the entire night!
I saw megadeth play in a pub in London for a charity event. It was weirder and cool because Chris added was on the drums. Wish they could have hung on to him.
Is it just me or should they play these smaller venue shows more instead of the giant big stadiums? Crowd seems WAY more into it in these smaller more intimate shows.
of course it would be fun if they just played small venues but that makes no sense financially and like 98% of the fans that wanted to buy tickets couldn't because the venue is too small
Sure...if ya don't want to make money....bands don't make shit off their songs anymore it's all touring, ticket sales, and merchandise. Not that Metallica needs the money lol
Kinda coming full circle, One of the best early live gigs was here.. I miss the old days when the bands and the audience were closer, The commaradery we had back then. Just not the same
It's really great to see a big band stripped down and they pretty much killed this and much respect to kirk. I'm one of those guys that gave up on metallica when the black album came out, theyre just not a thrash band anymore.
Kinda like a midi-controlled octaver, yea. He started using it to get a 12 string sound for the verses while having that standard 6 string sound for the intro. It should be talked about somewhere in this video here: ruclips.net/video/P6k2ghtbhoU/видео.html
Metallica playing in small venues just hits different. Lucky audience.

A moment of silence for the person that accidently slipped and fell on the thumbs down. :(
they had SO much energy this show, so fucking happy to see theyre playing like this good
This one never gets old.
This is really fantastic!! Concert like this is what it’s all about it’s the best experience ever!!
So awesome to see Metallica in a little club like this
Still one of my fav all time bands. Got to see them at Donington UK August 1991 ,it was brilliant...
Damn! Greenie really does have a sweet tone!
This will always be my depression anthem 😔 for when times get hard or if I'm going thru heart break
That Ken Lawrence has its own special sound. Love that guitar
Thank You for posting, its my favorite metallica song
That is so bad-ass, I wish I was there. I saw them on their Black tour(in the old days. Lol) and they sound just as good now!
They played this same venue in 1983 and now they are back 38 years later
Greatest band in history!
Back to the roots... They started in place like this
The last song Jason played with Metallica live in November 2000 before leaving the band.
they’re back at the metro
Kirk pitch perfect. Lars drumming amazing. James and Rob great as always. Awesome playing...oh and best song in the world?
Hahahaha Lars drumming amazing?????? You're obviously not a drummer...his drumming is shit the older he gets

James said once, they love to play in small places, they rather to play in small places

Wow! Classic. Thanks for sharing
I’ll pay a decent premium to see them at a small venue like this
Thanks for share
I was singing along happily to this song so sweetly, blissfully unaware of what I was singing 😂

Thanks for this one! If you got some more, could you, please, upload it too?
Fucking amazing !
The one thumbs downer went on the wrong night to see taylor swift!
How anyone finds out about these kind of shows is beyond me??!!
I love the sound In there

Is James using an octaver with his acoustic guitar?

Timestamp should be around 10:10 ish.
@@belowmusicexe Thanks a lot for the detailed answer, cheers
Makes me wonder if they are reving up for new tour
Make me cry😭
Why are all the videos cut off at the end?
Давай "Группу крови" (Кино)...
i thought the rob is a camera guy :D i realized when he moved away :D lol
I❤️🎤🎸🥰
James is king
Never followed Metallica after Kill em all and Ride the Lightning.
🕉☯️❤️🙏🏼
It looks awkward for them to be on a small stage 😂😂
this was one of the first stages they’ve been on, back in 1983, 3 years before cliff passed :( so this is special for them to be back after 40 years
It's bigger than their practice room at H-Q!
Also its the place where Kirk's guitar got stolen by one of the crowd
You are lucky
Audience of AHs
Nahhh
Omg can’t believe how horrible Lars is
Lars is cryng rigth now for you comment
if in your life you do 1x1000 of what Lars did you can consider yourself a nice person.
