Until that silence is broken there are no good cops in my opinion no matter ethnicity. Also, maybe it's time you start learning about the history of America? In particular with African Americans. Why? Because it as well as the majority of its citizens have a very long history of doing exactly what you said to them. And, instead of getting better it's only getting worse. That is a generalization and and unfair to the PD. This video also shows other police officers arriving, calling for an ambulance, rendering what aid they could, securing the scene, covering the victim for the sake of privacy and sensitivity of the public, and attempting to search for the gun. It also records their own amazement that the two officers left the scene.
Similar to the 2 cops who let the DV victim woman walk along a dark road at night when she was begging for a short ride to a gas station. She died 12 minutes later - hit by a truck.
Look up "Qualified Immunity". In the US cops can rarely be convicted of obvious crimes because of it and commit them everyday and near everywhere. It is horrendous and evil!
Yep! They only exist to enforce laws, not help anyone. Plus, they aren't even expect to know the laws they are entrusted to enforce, but ignorance of the law is no excuse for citizens. Then add qualified immunity and police unions, then they become untouchable.
Let's think about this logically, what was the reason for them to turn off their body cameras and leave? It wasn't laziness because they later came back and called it in. What would they accomplish by leaving the scene just to come back and do their job 10 mins later? Nothing, that makes no sense. The gun was missing and the only 2 people we know were at the scene purposely turned off cameras that were there to document the scene. Hmmmm, I wonder who could have taken the gun? Obviously, they never left. They just announced for the cameras that they were going to leave before shutting them off. They then took the gun and hid it in their cruiser somewhere. That would explain why they were so eager to flee in their cruiser in the middle of an active scene investigation. Smh!

St. Louis cops are on the take. But what do you expect for the money they make? Whether in a car or on a horse, they're not afraid to use excessive force. Bad cops.
I have observed that they are located in Missouri, and the circumstances are genuinely a misery. It is astounding to me that they prioritized clocking out over preserving a human life. They became police officers, and with that role comes a significant duty of care. I sincerely hope they find it difficult to rest at night.
How is that possible, when every other person that is professionally trained is criminally responsible, if they abuse or misuse that training. Leaving a man to die . When you are sworn to protect, and serve . His definitely criminal in my book, and immoral.
Some of the video's appear to prove that point. I was there once looking for a Finney Avenue I believe was the street. Stopped at a patrol car to ask for directions. Cop told me to be out of the area by dark.

In The Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales, the supreme court ruled that the police have no duty to protect members of the public.
First responders have a duty. This is a crime by omission.
No, they don't. It's gone to the supreme court. It may be possibly against their own policy, but not criminal.
Law enforcement has essentially no legal obligation to actually help or protect citizens. This is something that has been upheld by many courts including SCOTUS.
@@Aaron_JensenI came to say this. It's a very common misconception that police and other first responders have a legal obligation to do their jobs. The most that can happen, is what happened here. They get fired, and lose their license.
@@Aaron_JensenThat is one of the few things SCOTUS seems to get right, but my issue with this is that in my state failure to report a crime, or someone in need of medical attention is an arrestable offense. So, why would a cop be exempt from this? Is he above the law? (Not referring to federal law, but my own state law), I would assume every state has at least a law requiring someone report to 911

Then add qualified immunity and police unions, then they become untouchable.
Things are getting more and MORE crazy
Smh!
this makes the most sense.
