You look so good, and I love your braids! I too am exiting my lazy girl era. I am prioritizing exercising, eating smarter and truly dedicating myself to improving my mental, emotional and spiritual health. I have really been slacking and the biggest difference is felt when I get dressed. Clothes that used to be too big are now too small this is a big no no. I am loving myself through my journey and giving myself grace. I also am feeling worried, and I know faith and worry cannot coexist so thanks for the reminder. I'll be here to support you during your journey hun!

It’s hard turning down a good meal and drinks with your friends. Have you created a new normal with your friends? Like hey girl, let’s walk and catch up. Or nights in with healthier snacks. The more people loving and supporting you, the better.
Whew I felt everything you were saying in the beginning Atiya! There’s so much I want to do but after a while you have to lean in on the discipline, productivity, getting your ish together for that future. Being an adult is no joke!

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 my 2cents… some feel like influencers are selling a false and unrealistic life with Filters, Surgery and Face tune. We love that you aren’t one of those influencers. I hate and it seems like influencers promote overconsumption which I think prompts debt. I 100% understand they are paid to promote brands and products, but unfortunately, everyone who consumes content doesn’t have discipline to not buy everything an influencer says “you HAVE to buy!” We love and support REAL content.
That part isnt just an influencer thing when it comes to overconsumption. Celebrities, talk shows, & commercials did that prior to influencers. I dont think peoples lack of control is a influencer problem, that's a consumer problem. And i get the selling a false and unrealistic lifestyle. It is very much like that from my perspective too. & from my perspective it seems like no one wants to hear how to be more financially smart or ways to get out of debt, etc.
