9:36 Armadillo Racing! Lol! Now I really want to get down there someday. It's just a matter of time and wondering if my car could make the trip. A long way to go to get stuck somewhere. Never played it but it looked like fun in another video.
That’s a lot of damn games wow! Love it man! Takes me back. Some rarities in there like death race. I haven’t seen that cabinet in decades. Thanks for sharing, great stuff!
Pinball is two blocks east on Ogden. Yes, they have Empire Strikes Back cockpit version. I never go on Saturdays because its was too busy and the cabinets are too close together.
Great walkthrough! The open slots you saw were for the games they brought to C2E2. So believe it or not you didn’t get to see all the games they have on the floor. That is also a show you should check out. Every Monday they stream the debut of a new game, so don’t forget to check that out. True nostalgia seeing a “new” game debut.
You went to my spot! I still go there at least 2-3 times per year. Me and one of my buddies drive out there. I mostly stay on MK2 and sometimes migrate to street fighter or time crisis. Good vid!
I was lucky to have visited Galloping Ghost arcade in 2017. Me & my brother celebrated his son's birthday there. Hope to go back to this Valhalla of arcades soon. 🕹️
Those dedicaded cabinets are soooo gorgeous! 😍😍 So far from the jp candy cabs (I have a SEGA new astro city). I'm 51 and this video is a back in time for me
The wisconsin dells now have bar arcades, but there are nothing compared to as many a variety of Arcade games that they got at the Galloping ghost. Wisconsin Dells. had all these games, though at one time Like galloping, ghost. I have to make a stop there sometime in the future. Egg, helping ghosts to see all of my memories like they were in the past in Wisconsin Dells. When I was a lot younger, we'll bring back a lot of memories to me
6 person X-Men is a Great cab but for me it is the Environmental Discs of Tron which they don’t have but is at the Logan Arcade! 🙄 You showed SNK’s Prehistoric Isle which one of my favorite horizontal shooters of all Time! 😎 I don’t remember if you showed Tournament CyberBall 2072 though. I think it’s worth it to go just to play that COTTON cab! 🤩
Doc Mack asked me what game I was most pumped to find and I said sit-down SpyHunter and Doc said he has two of them - but neither of them are there. I'm thinking the same thing about Road Blasters Phil - he probably has it offsight but it either needs repair - OR - they don't have the space ( yet ) to display all of the larger sit down cabs they probably have in reserve (like Star Trek etc.). Doc says the next expansion will be vertical - meaning they're adding floors to Galloping Ghost in the years to come ! And maybe even accomodations on sight too. Make it a real international destination 🖤👻
I love the idea of this Arcade, but their power bill must be enormous. I wonder if they struck a deal with their power company, maybe got a 3 - phase power system to handle the voltage drops? All that aside, it's like a dream come true for this old Arcade goer. Thanks for this video, I feel like I went there in person.
It’s a cool arcade I went last year with my brother and nephew. We liked the small pinball place the best because we went thinking we were going to play a bunch of old games together yet most of the second players we broken and when I asked about it the front desk person just told me they can barely keep up getting one side working let alone two players on the games which was really upsetting. So if your okay playing games alone and know most are broken then you will have fun.
Wow, these games take me back to my childhood and teenage years...I live California so I may never make it to this arcade, does anyone know of a similar arcade out here on the west coast??? Thanks
I'm going straight to the WWF games and Mortal Kombat's. If not, I would have sensory overload and pass out! I appreciate the CRT's in almost everything. All the arcade's I go to mostly have LCD screens now.
The color difference on that X-men was barely noticeable. That version wouldn’t even bug me. I would need a season pass for that place. I’d be broke fast otherwise 😂
Yeah, they have monthly and annual passes. Crazy how they keep expanding, I haven't been since their last expansion. We're not here to talk about the bathrooms, lol
Huge selection, but I think the arcades are a little too close to each other, you can't get two people playing back to back in some aisles, and there are a lot of bootleg cabinets that I can see!
Every single game that is there at the gallping. Goes for all and Wisconsin Dells. At 1 time in the past seen them all. But was very young, so it never had enough quarters to put in to play all the games. Used to have an arcade. At 1 time called the Penny Arcade and the Galaxy arcade, right across the street from one another. But seen all these arcades at one time or another in the dells, like the galloping ghost
Never ever owned the penny arcade or the galaxy arcade in wisconsin Dells. Just went there for vacation. And seen the arcades One or another of them there
Saw a Crazy Climber 2 next to your Superman. I think that was a Japan only game. Lots of machines I haven't seen in ages. TNK3, US vs Them, Mach 3. I made an NES version of Turtles (Mostly. No bugs under my boxes. Figured it was a maze game hardly anybody ever did a home version for. Someone made a far superior version called Tortoises.) Monster Bash I have not seen since the days of the Video Star arcade in West Alllis. Probably would have 005 as well. Did you see a Vertigo machine? I played it a few times at Aladins Castle. Not the greatest game but I think it was a prototype. Like like a late Vector game from Exidy. Was some sit down game where you flew thru space flying thru rings and shooting crystals I think. The seat would rock around a bit. Never saw another one. There are better games but it was the first game I could remember where the seat moved. Another one I'm curious about. Did they have a Sega Space Tactics machine? Was some sit down game like 3D space invaders kinda. Had a mirror that moved inside that made the invaders look bigger or smaller tilting around.
