And for starting it in the first place... Gaza still has (old) British laws part of the British Mandate Criminal Code.
For example "Same-sex sexual activity is prohibited in Gaza under the British Mandate Criminal Code Ordinance 1936. The relevant provision carries a maximum penalty of ten years’ imprisonment. Only men are criminalised under this law." It's not enforced but was also never changed.
British military trained the militias carrying out the ethnic cleansing in 1948, when the British military up and left after setting the conditions for the nakba.

Over 70 percent of people in UK when polled said they wanted an end to this War in Gaza and a stop to slaughter of civilians in Gaza. Why is our Government not listening to the people? It's politics and the way of the world. There are not good states and bad states, all states are run for their own benefit. Its how power worked throughout history why would it have suddenly changed yesterday? You don't have to think that it's good but you should understand your freedoms and liberties are granted by the success of the state you live in, and support it accordingly. We do less bad crimes against humanity? Or our citizens at least have the illusion of choice? Whatever works ha :) got to find a way to accept it, and hold our politicians accountable internally on their promises to us instead

I'm from Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland and these a RAF airport not far from us that has been highly active of late so I would not be surprised if it's here.
How as citizens can hold this vile government accountable for war crimes? They are okay to participate in this war crime outside UK’s soil, then they will find it more comfortable to carry out some kind of crimes against civilians on UK soil.
The whole situation leaves me wondering why only civilians without any dog in the fight can see how wrong this is? There is no way that any of this could ever be classed as "self-defence". It is genocide and it's happening right in front of our eyes. How can any of them sleep at night?

also ... why does UK have military bases in Cyprus? How do the Cypriots feel about their country being used in this way? Many people in Western Europe would also object to bringing up their children in a heavily militarised area where there are guns being pointed in all directions, landmines, chemical traces of bombs in the soil and fortified walls that separate communities.
Cyprus has been used and occupied by many countries throughout history because of its strategic location, uk has a military base there as part of negotiations / condition of giving Cyprus its independence and the base is used by usa as an Allie to uk. They are a crime syndicate.

This is a sovereign base I.e. one of two areas of land that belong to the British armed forces and have done since Cyprus was a colony. The Cypriot Government gets no say in what flies in or out of those territories.
