It's a two in one make today as I had to make both the Stella hoodie and joggers together - they are like tea and cake! ;)
I have learnt so much making these and won't ever take them off!

I know what you mean about being unsure if tracksuits/jogging suits were for you,I feel the same .This has changed my mind,the fabric and the colour are stunning and I love the lining and drawstring to. I would have liked to have seen more of you sewing but I understand if it was awkward.Ive bought this book as a birthday present for my daughter so I'll be showing her your vlog.

Thank you for telling us about the "flip" on the overlocker to secure the threads. That was brilliant! Now, I'm very excited to make my own Stella..maybe even a summer weight hoodie without the sleeves. I had to laugh at "oooh a free pin!". Despite spending thousands on machines, patterns and fabric, it's the little things like a free pin that make me happy, too :)

They went so perfectly with your jersey fabric 😍. You are powering through Tillie's Stretch book and doing a great job. Enjoyed 'The Stitchers Brew' today and found it so interesting about colour and what suits you. I'm definitely a blue girl myself like you Gabby.....with splashes of pink now and then 😉, but how can we resist all that colourful fabric out there...... impossible eh 😊. Great vlog. I love everything you do. The premade cuffs are really interesting. I'm not sure I like that they aren't a folded piece though - because if you have a two layer you'd get to enclose the seam... still - prettier than using jersey or plain rib.
What is the red sweater on day one of filming?
I need some of those cuffs. So much nicer than the plain boring ones we have in the UK!

I said out loud, "don't sew over the pin!", then you said it! LOL I know, because I've done it, and had to but new blades - top and bottom - not cheap! Your Stella came out great and looks really good on you! I still havn't made anything from my book yet, I'm a nervous beginner! TFS xx

Quick question about one of the patterns in the book... the Joni dress, it says the body measurements and then the finished garment measurements. But the finished garment measurements are smaller the the body measurements lol I’m confused 🤷🏽♀️ xx
Live, Love & Learn Naturally hello! It’s because with stretch fabrics garments there is minus ease so the stretch fits nicely!
