O...M...Geeee!!!!!!!! What a tear jerker!!! What suspense!!! What a story!!!!! I was bawling and cheering all at the same time!!! It was A GOOD MOVIE!!!! Thanks to all who made it possible!!!! AND to think, I only watched it by chance. 👍💚👍💚👍💚👍💚👍💚👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm just starting the movie and already I know I'm going to love it! So heart-warming to see a man who loves a horse so much. Thank you for uploading this for us!
Oh, how I enjoyed this beautiful movie! Loving horses, the way I do with tender, caring, and very touching! Sure, wish they would make movies like this❤
Thank you so very much for a wonderful movie. Don Ameche was a unlikely star but he was great. I am so happy I found your channel. I use to love TCM but they have now switched to newer movies. Thank you for showing great movies and with no ads🥰
What a crazy little colt at the beginning of the movie, for a baby incredibly talented and followed his script perfectly !😊Amazing how people change after the marriage and show their true colours…😢 Hopefully one day they change !
I missed the credits, too. I like to know who made these films, and it distracts me to not see them. Also, please don’t place stickers on the screen until the movie is completely finished. To see little pictures pop up while the actors are still talking was very distracting. Thanks. Great print though, and nice movie!

@@eriscarmodossantosdefranca5528 How I agree with you! It's barbaric. I didn't realize that until I heard about how many horses are injured and killed. I fast forward through those scenes when they appear in a movie. I feel the same way about dog races, rodeos, bullfights, and of course cock fights and dog fights. How people can be so cold is beyond me. Animals are such a gift to us. How they deserve our respect! I am becoming more and more of a vegan, but not entirely yet. Here's to a better world.
Great movie. Too bad you couldn’t let it run one more minute without stepping on the ending with the darn “up next” shows. Ruins the happy ending. Bummer.
Hollywood Park used to be the place where legends raced. It made hearts pound and broke bankbooks. Globalists took Hollywood Park and its legends down, same as they tried to destroyed Santa Anita. It may have been all about the money to the Humans, but to most of those horses, it was a natural sprint, molded in their blood. Now, Hollywood Park is but a memory, but it's a fine box full of stories, ambitions and glorys of the past. The horses still run, in fields, along canyons and across the sky, waiting for Humanity to wake up, to get it right and join the field once again.
You're exactly right. There's 1😊 person that I can pinpoint. That is just like that, you can say what you want. And yes, those types of people will leave you looking cross-eyed, and that's for sure.
I've raised & broke horses, and colts are NOT affectionate, unless 'that' human has been around 'em early on. They bite & kick at the least contact. This scene with Ameche @10:59 is wonderful, since a colt that young cannot be so well trained! @1:15:26- That kid sure reminds me of Jerry Mathers, but I don't find this film in his 'filmography'...
I'd like to know why racetracks are busting up horses. They say the horse dies but it was really put to sleep. The track is messing up their legs. I think the tracks are too old. Compacted substrate dangerous for horse's legs
And here it is, another movie minus the opening and closing credits. If you can't, or won't include the credits, then don't bother uploading the movie.
What happened to dance halls? What happened to dancing? What happened to dancing together? What happened to love? It was all commercialized and ruined by Hollywood movies. Everything that is commercialized is ruined.

This makes no sense. How does it diminish concentration on the film to know that it was directed by Frank Borzage responsible for several classics . Or that Tony Gaudio d.p. on many Warner Bros to titles of the 1930's did the excellent cinematography. Nevertheless, thanks for an excellent print of a long unavailable title. . ,
Don cant be mean even when he trys, he too much of a sweetheart, Married to one women his whole life, how wonderful.
Yes; He was truly wonderful.

He was handsome from a lady who's 75
And You’re right !!! I am 59 and with his tiny moustache he was so classy 👌💫

wow, that race, his winning made me cry. and I wish I would win, too. HOw great that a movie can move a person as if it is real.
I read Turner Classic Movies let most of their staff go. They are making big changes.
Superb story, excellent performance, excellent cinematography, A Class audio sound quality ❤❤

Me too! Heaven Can Wait is one of his best
Love a good Borzage film. Catherine McLeod is a ringer for Melody Thomas Scott!
What a beautiful beautiful movie! I had no idea going into it that I would be crying so much!😢 Thank you for sharing this great film with us 🌸
Loved this movie.
Finally, a 1940s movie that doesn't revolve around divorce or adultery.
Amen!
There's a light inside of you that knows the way. I can neither see nor feel that light & although I never knew it before my soul is sad.
Don Ameche was certainly not a “young man” as stated he was 40 He was a terrific actor even in his 70’s
Oh, 40! Horror! And he could still act in his 70s?!
40 or more, no age matter when you’re handsome 🤷♀️
What a great movie! Thank you so much for posting it.

Good to see reliable character actor Roscoe Karns in a really solid role.

Mr. Borzage I’m in. Thank you.
Loved this movie
The movies in these times were so dramatic.
All through this film... I've been rooting for Gallant Man (not Ronnie or Joe). That beautiful creature just wanted to run to show his love.
They love to run.
I loved this movie 👍 thanks

same. Foals are foul. Like humans they need to be taught manners!
Not our foals. Where do you people live??

the culprit is money, but then money and power is destroying our entire society today.

How is this film English? It's clearly American.
I think they mean the movie language is English.
Or American.
'That's My Man' (1947) Version.
Younger women, older whiskey, faster horses, more money.
