Thanks to this video I went into the job fully prepared for a stuck link. An air cutoff tool was my solution to the stripped hex/spinning bolt/stuck link problem. Keep up the good work!
Great video with perfect lighting to see what needs to be done. Great explanation

Seems like it would be a good idea to use anti-seizure compound on the new link’s bolt threads so that future you doesn’t hate past you.
Great demonstration!!....subscribed.
Very helpful video. Good job, thanks
Great video, thank you. The same thing happened to me when replacing stabilizer bar on front. I could not get it off to save my life and It was getting dark. I ended up cutting bolt off. It was a bear.
+arrosconpollo1 Thanks for watching. Have a great day! 1aauto.com
Yeah I had the same problem with my Pilot. I had to burn them off with a torch
Great video, very helpful for me 👍🏻
Thank you for the feebback! +Sergio Murillo
I just did this job on my pilot, but when I did it, I had to put some load on the wheel in order to line up the linkage with the sway bar, as it popped upwards after I removed the link. Is this normal? Maybe its because it wasn't on perfectly level ground?
Thank you very much for such a detailed video. Do you know the torque specifications for these rear stabilizer bar links?
Thanks 😊
Are the sway bar links the same for both sides?
They should not make or sell these links without a way to secure a wrench on the opposite side. Those allen keys fail 100% of the time.
How do I know when those need replaced? I have slight extra noise, as if something was slightly loose on the rear axle, when going over small bumps quickly. I've been under the car more than once and cant see anything loose. It's a 2012 Pilot.
how to replace honda ridgeline rear stabilizer bar bushings?
Those things were so seized on my pilot I had to burn them off with a torch. It was a long and painful process

What's the lug pattern on 2006 Honda pilot I'm confused on that. I don't know if it's 5×114.3 or 5×115?
+Aneudy Martinez Thank you for the comment! The 2006 Pilot will have 5x114.3

I have a different vehicle but the process is very similar for most vehicles.
+BIG APPLE You may be able to apply the basic steps shown here to your vehicle. Hope this has helped you out. We carry replacement sway bar links for many different year make and model vehicles on our website. Here is a link to them, hope this helps you out goo.gl/Gb9MCH
I get some grounding noise when I back off with my wheel turned all the way..
Probably be good for all to know to raise entire front of vehicle up. Not just one side
+Justin Eaton Thanks for the tip! We'll pass this info along to our production team.
I just realized it's the rear lol. So just make sure both sides of vehicle is raised on whichever you're doing front or back

+Justin Eaton Thanks for the feedback!
New one looks thinner....
I noticed the coil spring has a crack along the top. It looks like there is a seam ripped. Does the spring need replacing or is that just the outer plastic coding over the coil spring?
