If it’s one thing I learned while doing YT for a few years is your audience appreciates transparency and feeling like they can get to know you as a person! It’ll be great seeing you on YT more. Honestly, the future of TT is up in the air anyway. I’ll watch any content you’d like to share Ralph. 😊
You are not a fraud. Find some other RUclipsr who has accumulated more than 200k subscribers in the card making world in less than 2 years! Maybe the last video Jennifer Maker made with Angie Holden could inspire you. I love Jennifer Maker values even if not directly related to card making
Thanks for the update, Ralph!! I am glad you are going to stay with RUclips since I don’t do TikTok!! I will continue to follow you no matter what content you do here!!
So now you get to start fresh, and you can do anything and everything that you want! Everything you mentioned sounds like something I’d like to watch, so I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Hey Ralph, you have been missed. Great to hear your views. One of the reason's I really liked your videos was seeing you use all kinds of materials in your card making. No limitations with certain companies etc... Hope you figure it all out and we will be here.
Bravo Ralph. What I've discovered in working on all these platforms is that there's different audiences looking for different things. Some people like the quick ASMR short form, while others love long tutorial type formats. So I believe you're tapping into all of that and no one will fault you for focusing on one over another. And, imho, it didn't sound at all as if you were "airing your grievances." Rather you were being transparent in your current status. 😊
G'Day Ralph, thank you for your transparency and for sharing this video with your viewing audience. I look forward to you taking us on this new journey, especially going craft supply shopping, as I always purchase craft supplies online. You're a genuine talent and I always look forward to your uploads here and on IG. If you went Live sometime too, I'd be more than happy to be part of that too. Cheers, from Australia.
If you "craft it" they will come! You are amazing person, crafter and muse. I enjoy watching your ASMR short form videos and look forward to your YT videos and tutorials. Thank you for sharing your creative so freely with us. 💌
Oh Ralph, I follow you on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and RUclips. I love your creativity, humor and personality as well as the cards you create and your line of products. Keep being you on any platform!!!!
Would like to see you visit craft stores talking with other well known or up and coming people in the industry trends that are happening even how they make some of these materials we use I hope you keep making your YT videos and good on you for taking time to be honest with us 😊
I love your authenticity and honesty. I have the same struggle with whether I sound too negative or complaining.... But I feel like I have enough crafty love to make up for it lol I'm sure you can relate to that even as a noob
Hi Ralph you came into my thoughts recently (actually while I was having my chemo infusion) am pleased to see you are ok & love your vlogs & will watch as many or as few you do…thanks from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺🦘🐨🥰
I might be jumping in too early as I’m only midway through the video, but I was extremely intrigued by your mention of “imposter syndrome.” I’d never heard of that before but I can say this: the best piece of advice I got was from my uncle, an economist for the State of New York. He said to remember that everyone at work feels like a bit of an imposter, like they’re neither ready nor qualified to do the work they’re being asked to do. We all have on various levels sense of inadequacy. So what I did with that advice which came shortly after I graduated from college in the 70s was to just plunge ahead and try to grab what bits and pieces of information I could from various sources to learn what I needed to know and then just to be willing to try And do something and always do it at a level that was higher than expected. You worked in the corporate world so you understand those feelings. The point he was trying to make to me was that everyone is also feeling that too. So don’t let it hold you back. I’m glad you’re back and Online because your content is interesting. You’re fun to watch and you do good work that helps people like me who truly are klutzes to make cards that we can be proud of.
Just caught you on the Hanging with Hero series. I have been paper crafting for over 25 years and you should definitely do more on YT! You have a great speaking voice and many of us older seniors that live alone crave longer videos with more voice and heart. You keep us company!
I love longer form videos because they're perfect for putting on while walking the dog, doing chores or work or just winding down and personally do really enjoy listening to you and love being artsy and crafty when I get the time to - so: here for the ride ❣️
Thank you for sharing your journey! I appreciate learning about your move from corporate into the creative industry. I give you a ton of credit for doing what many only dream of. Keep going, you’re doing awesome!
Phew!! I love your content here on RUclips and so grateful you want to continue with your journey here !! Thank you 🙏 I love hearing about you and what's going on along with the card making and creating.
Looking forward to more of your YT content! It’s nice to have different options of platforms and types of content you can create. Listen to your heart and gut and make stuff that makes you happy too ❤
It’s so inspiring to see someone take a risk, follow their passion, and see it pay off! Also, every one of your card-making videos is edited to perfection! 👏
We all need a break from time~>time. You do what makes you happy!! I appreciate the vids you have done thus far. I’ve been a subscriber since the beginning. You do you. Amy. Apex, NC 🇺🇸 PS~did you receive the note I sent on your website??
Ironically, I was just wondering a couple of days ago, "What happened to Ralph? I haven't seen a YT video from him in quite a while." I'm already a subscriber here, and the whole time you were talking I was holding my breath that you might say you were forgetting YT and only doing Instagram and Tik Tok. I'm very happy that you are not forgetting RUclips because I don't visit those other two venues. Welcome back!!! Looking forward to what you will be creating for us. We love your inspiration! There are a gazillion techniques out there & I can hardly wait to see the first one you pick. If they work for you like they work for me there will be a lot of humor involved! LOL
2024 seems to be the year for creators easing back and changing direction on their channels. I look forward to seeing where you take your channel from this point forward.
Sometimes you just need to hit the “refresh” button and continue your journey. I am here for the long haul, no matter the format or platform your videos are posted to. Keep creating!!!
Hi Ralph! 👋🏻 New Subscriber here!! You popped up on my recommended feed today and I’m so happy that you did. I appreciate your honesty and being so forthright. I’m mom to 4 sons and have 2 grandsons. So you’d fit right in. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to broaden your horizons. I’m a distracted crafter. Meaning I will stick with one or two crafts for a while before jumping into something else, but I will eventually come back around. I’m just beginning junk journals and card making. I’ve done other paper crafting, diamond painting, sewing in general, quilting, cross stitch (my eyes are too old for that now). I’m looking forward to your new content. In the meantime, I will go back and watch your other videos. Terri in SC
I’m so happy you will be putting more out on youtube. I love to put your videos on and just listen to you while I sit at my craft table. You are great inspiration for us crafters!
Hi Ralph, I can totally relate to so much of what you’re saying and I deeply feel what you’re going through. I’ve been a multi-crafter and instructor for decades but I haven’t been extremely consistent due to “life interruptions”. But also because of things you mentioned (burnout, temporary lack of motivation, angst, etc). I have not [yet] attempted to share my creative passions via social media but many people have urged me to so I feel like it will happen one day. What I can say is that as passionate creators, we have to find a balance between trying to please others and trying to please ourselves. That’s not easy as I’m sure you know. I also stand firm on being real, as in somewhat transparent without the risk of relinquishing too much personal information simply because there are sadly so many scammers out there. This is a deep fear I have (especially since my husband is in the field of cyber security). Anyway, just do what you love so that you can love what you do. I think it’s okay to cast a wide net and see what you “catch”. I believe life is a series of experiments…some work, some don’t but that’s how we learn and grow and most importantly, have fun (who doesn’t love having fun?). I think it will be wonderful and inspiring to continue following along your journey and I’m sure many others will agree. Toodles for now, Debs ❣️ PS- Happy, healthy, safe…that’s all that really matters in life (for us, and those we care about).
I started following you both on YT and IG. I loved the fact that you were able to leave your IT career for something creative. I have worked in the IT corporate field for over 30 years and have been cardmaking for over 20 years, so I’ve been living vicariously through you. 😊. While I do love your ASMR reels on IG, I must admit I’ve missed you on YT. Please give yourself some grace to find your way and what works for you! We look forward to seeing wherever your journey takes you! ❤
Great to see you here on RUclips, Ralph! You're exceptionally talented - there is always space for you in the craft community, however and wherever you choose to show up! I look forward to continuing to follow your journey!
Ralph, I respect and admire you for your decisions to do what works for you and makes you happy. I, for one, am happy that you will be doing more on RUclips. I look forward to going on this journey with you.
I don’t know you, I just found you and I respect you for making this video. Thank you! I’m now a subscriber and looking forward to following your journey.
Your ASMR card making forum is the first that I had seen. And I have to say I love it! I love tutorials too, but people are making them longer than 20 to 30 minutes and that is just too long for me. But I get why sometimes they have to be that long. But your ASMR video's knock it out the park for me. I've been making cards since the 90's and that is probably why. Thanks for being you, I respect content creators, but not all are for me. I love how transparent you are being with your viewers as well. Yep, if it ain't broke....don't fix it! Well done!
Hi Ralph! Nice to see your face again! I think it can be hard balancing things when your work is also your pleasure. Kudos to you for your self care, and for sharing that with your viewers. I like your style, and hope you find this fulfilling enough to continue making content for a long time. ❤
Good to see you back! A few videos I tend to watch is craft room tours/organization (though you being a fairly new crafter, haven’t had enough time to amass the stash of a lifetime creator 🤪), haul & technique videos. Either way your unique style will bring fresh content to YT. Looking forward to seeing you on Hanging with Hero!
As someone who doesn’t have TikTok or instagram would it be possible for you to maybe re-post some of that content in shorts here on RUclips too? Also looking forward to more different types of craft videos from you 😊
I will try here and there! RUclips has a 1 minute cap on Shorts and all my tiktok/instagram reels are typically 2-3 minutes so it's difficult to repurpose here. I'll see what I can do though!
Hi Ralph! RUclips is a fabulous place to build community, so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ve made a good decision! Your demographic is probably different to mine, but having a RUclips channel alongside a Facebook group has worked well for me - I’ve made a fantastic bunch of crafty friends whom I love making videos for. You know what they say: if you love what you do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life. :)
I'm a newbie follower from IG. But I just wanted to say I'm proud of you for addressing your person needs to grow and learn. I love watching your videos. You are so precise and artistic. Your technique blows me away each video. The seagull one blew me away with the layers of colour and the way you did the wave ripples and foam. It's incredible to watch. So keep doing you boo! We are here to learn and admire! ❤
I'm so glad you're coming back! I think I've watched all your RUclips videos except one on the Cricut machine. And whatever you do, I hope you'll continue designing stamps! I think I purchased every product in your first release, which is not something I've ever done before!
I first saw you here on YT, and it was your video about quitting your job. I subscribed straight away, then started following you on IG. Months later I also had burnout and decided to leave my job. 😊 I love your work. ❤
Welcome back! Fun is always the operative word. You'll find that a lot of YT crafty viewers have played in many different sandboxes, so whatever craft you tackle here you'll find an audience that can offer tips, tricks and lots and lots of encouragement.
I originally found you on TT and instantly fell in love with your content. I am excited to see where this channel goes and look forward to more creative content from you. You inspire me all the time and cannot wait to see what your future holds. You are so creative.
I love that you want to connect. That is a great thing. I mostly watch RUclips but occasionally get on Instagram. I always laugh when I tell people about my RUclips friends. Although we've never met I have some great connections.
I would love to see you more on RUclips. It would be great to see you creating live. Thank you for sharing your journey and your fun and fresh approach to card making.
I was thinking about you the other day when I saw someone mimicking your style. Thanks for the update. No more wondering. Best of luck on your venture. I'll be tagging along. Enjoy your journey!❤
I just found you a few months ago on YT, luv your style of card making and the fact you are not limited to specific company products. Keep up the good work! I will be waiting for your next videos.
Your honesty and self-reflection are refreshing! Your Hero Arts Composition Notebook collaboration is one of my favorite and most used purchases this year. I look forward to watching your creative journey unfold!
I actually really like these chatting videos. I tend to put RUclips on while I’m doing another task, and the “rambling,” as you call it, is like someone keeping me company and talking about stuff I’m interested in. I first started watching via TikTok, but I’m excited to see where you take this channel! Whatever new things you try will be fun to watch!
Hi Ralph. Yayyyyy 🎉🎉🎉. Good to hear that you will be posting more on this platform. I have enjoyed your posts and I’ve missed them. I really like your style and you help me look differently at card design/making
😅 Hooray 🎉❤😊. I’m excited to join you in your journey. You are such an inspiration- on TT, IG, and YT. In case you didn’t already know- many of us aspire to be (like) you Ralph! You’re living our dream. 💛💛💛 Says the girl that use to *buy & stock* HA and ANM Rubber Stamps (wood mounted of course) for a chain retail store back before your time. ❤😂❤ Positive vibes!
I've enjoyed your cardmaking from the very beginning! I'm sure I will enjoy your RUclips programming also. Do whatever gives you joy and I know that will come through to your audience!!! ❤
Ralph. opening your heart to us shows how real you are. It has been a joy to watch you. You never put on.i will continue to watch and learn from you. You're an amazing man and it will be fun to see what else you dabble in. Just do you. You're a very creative, down to earth guy. Thank you for being you and inspiring me❤️
I like journaling as well as card making, seemed like a natural progression for me. Looking forward to seeing what you discover new ways to explore crafting
Yes to: spread the word to have fun, to more playing, and to try out different other crafts. You will have so much fun, and taking us on your journey and inspire some along the way. Thanks for sharing👍
You’ve been missed Ralph. I understand how you’re feeling & want to encourage you to continue doing what gives you joy. You’re so creative & I enjoy your content no matter the format. Welcome back!
Hi Ralph, great to see you back. You do only what you’re comfortable with. If it gets too demanding, that takes the fun out of your talents, and you my friend are talented! Crafting is supposed to be great fun in creativity! 😊❤️🇨🇦
I'm happy to see you again. I will continue to follow you no matter what craft you're doing. I love your creativity, and I look forward to any new or old craft you do a video on.
I am so glad you are not quitting being with us. I relate to you more than others - be creative do you - feel free to jump around with different content - but please don’t leave us. ❤
I’m excited to go on this journey with you. I also really enjoy watching you live on TikTok. Would be cool to see you do some special segments where you go to another country and try their crafts. Like Japanese ink blocking. The sky’s the limit!
So glad you did this video, Ralph. I’ve loved following you on Instagram and have been inspired from your posts there to broaden my card making skills. I totally understand how you’d begin to feel burnt out and will happily continue to follow you there and here!! Best of luck to you. I hope this new chapter is fulfilling for you.
I think it's amazing that you got so much positive feedback after being a relatively new cardmaker! But I have imposter syndrome as well (not for cardmaking, because I'm not really known, but in my career!), so I totally get that feeling! And I appreciate your honesty about constantly having to create when you didn't exactly feel like it. Seems like a TON of pressure! I'm glad you took a step back to figure out what's going to make YOU happy. And you're talented enough that we're all certain to still enjoy it. 🙂
Love it, yt is where it's at, while for sure I do love your asmr shorts, happy to have found you that way, but I immediately was thrilled to see a few youtube videos already up, these are how I spent actual time in your art world and knew I wanted to stay!
I found you on YT not long ago; falling head first into card making recently and YT is my preferred form content. Really looking forward to seeing more videos from you 😊
So great to see you again, Ralph. Bravo to you for stepping back to re-evaluate your direction. I've been subscribed for a long time, and look forward to all of your future videos here on RUclips. You got this!
it's understandable to feel miserable and burnt out after a while. creative work is still work. i absolutely love the video when you tried out different kind of card making products. your honest confused or happy state felt nice, real and authentic. looking forward to continue watching you stumble or even slide through your next adventures.
Change is good.... change is growth! Looking forward to ALL your videos, no matter the content, but excited to see what you're going to add to your arsenal, aside from your wonderful cardmaking!
I think it will be great getting to see you here on RUclips. I love really getting to know someone on a more personal level along their videos. In the long run you do you Ralph that's who you have to live with. We want you to be happy ❤❤❤❤
Well, thanks a lot for scaring us Mr Ralph! 😂 I honestly thought as this video went on that you were going to say you were starting a subscription model only on YT. And I would’ve been very depressed on this lovely Sunday afternoon. So thanks for not doing that! I am a multi-crafter so I’ll watch anything you’re cooking up!
I was wondering where the heck you were. I might check out the other platforms you mentioned. Ty for your honesty and I'm looking forward to your next video 😊
Ralph, I always watch you where ever I find you. I enjoy the way you craft and you are very inspiring. Good Luck you will do fantastic and I’m going on the ride with you. See you on the next video my friend.
Thank you Kari ❤️
Exactly
Glad you will be on RUclips more. I don't have Tictok. I love a variety. I make cards but also many more crafts as well! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the update, Ralph!!
I am glad you are going to stay with RUclips since I don’t do TikTok!!
I will continue to follow you no matter what content you do here!!
Thank you Peggy!
I don’t do TikTok either because my husband says it’s not safe (and he should know). ;-)
Thanks for mentioning that! I definitely love to mix and match items and techniques.
sorry 😅 dont do tik tok so i guess i hVe missed out on whatever you are doing
Bravo Ralph. What I've discovered in working on all these platforms is that there's different audiences looking for different things. Some people like the quick ASMR short form, while others love long tutorial type formats. So I believe you're tapping into all of that and no one will fault you for focusing on one over another. As a person who doesn't use a lot of ig and tiki tok, I appreciate you doing more you tube
I love your authenticity and honesty. I have the same struggle with whether I sound too negative or complaining.... But I feel like I have enough crafty love to make up for it lol I'm sure you can relate to that even as a noob

Sounds awesome! Can’t wait to see what you produce!
Yay! You have been missed Ralph, welcome back! I really enjoyed watching your videos. So I am ready for whatever crafting you share.
I'm so glad you're coming back! I think I've watched all your RUclips videos except one on the Cricut machine. And whatever you do, I hope you'll continue designing stamps! I think I purchased every product in your first release, which is not something I've ever done before!
Oh my goodness thank you so much for the support! So glad you found the release useful. Stay tuned for more 👀
I first saw you here on YT, and it was your video about quitting your job. I subscribed straight away, then started following you on IG. Months later I also had burnout and decided to leave my job. 😊 I love your work. ❤
Hey you!! Good to see you!! Love you, love your plan! Be true to you and your true followers will always find you!❤
Welcome back!
Glad to hear your news. Do anything and we will watch.
Life is too short - do what's best for you! I enjoyed seeing you on Hanging with Hero.
Hi Ralph. Yayyyyy 🎉🎉🎉. Good to hear that you will be posting more on this platform. I have enjoyed your posts and I’ve missed them. I really like your style and you help me look differently at card design/making
Thank you!!
Positive vibes!
So happy to hear this. I love your work. Can’t wait to see you more often.
Ralph. It was great to see you at workshop week!!! I saw your name on the schedule and said "I know him!!!"
The editing at the beginning is done very well. Thank you.
Very happy you are coming back to RUclips! Love all your videos!
I'm happy to be back too!
Thanks so much!
I love you tube, the longer videos and tutorials and seeing your face. I appreciate the human side!! Love your content.
I’m excited for this! ❤ Can’t wait to see what you do, Ralph
Great to see you back! I am here for all things crafty, so pls go ahead and experiment :)
Thanks for the transparency. Glad you made this video. 😊
You do you! Enjoy your journey.
Yay! I can’t wait to see more of you here! I’m stoked!
Can’t wait to be part of the community building!!!
I absolutely love watching your videos and I think it's amazing that you're following your passions. Do whatever your heart desires and you'll go far!
it's understandable to feel miserable and burnt out after a while. creative work is still work. i absolutely love the video when you tried out different kind of card making products. your honest confused or happy state felt nice, real and authentic.
looking forward to continue watching you stumble or even slide through your next adventures.
That was one of my favorites too! Maybe I'll do a part 2 one day lol.
Change is good.... change is growth! Looking forward to ALL your videos, no matter the content, but excited to see what you're going to add to your arsenal, aside from your wonderful cardmaking!
Great idea! All of us crafty card makers really like getting to know the people we follow. Love all of your creations.
YAY! Welcome back! Eager to grow and learn with you using various media!
I think it will be great getting to see you here on RUclips. I love really getting to know someone on a more personal level along their videos. In the long run you do you Ralph that's who you have to live with. We want you to be happy ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for being here!
Looking forward to whatever comes next! No matter what, I’m just glad to have my friend Ralph.
Eoin ❤️❤️❤️
This video came off as honest and authentic. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi, it's Merry! I am happy to see you here. This is my preferred medium to watch card maker content. Looking forward to seeing your next project!
I was wondering where the heck you were. I might check out the other platforms you mentioned. Ty for your honesty and I'm looking forward to your next video 😊
Artists appreciate artists. You do what brings you joy. We are along for the ride. Mix it up, mash it up, turn it all around. Explore! I’m in.
Ralph, I always watch you where ever I find you. I enjoy the way you craft and you are very inspiring. Good Luck you will do fantastic and I’m going on the ride with you. See you on the next video my friend.
Yay, Ralph! Love your videos and will watch for sure! And remember, change is often hard at first, but it will get better!
