    Always love watching your videos Matteo. Fun and informative, had to use one of your vids as a instructional guide to assemble aftermarket steering for my cc01 kit.

    Those axles were the Vaterra Ascender’s downfall, you cannot use any other type of driveshaft because of the setup. Probably could make it work taking other driveshafts apart but no. I’m glad you showed us this because someone needs to make the upgrade for it like maybe vanquish but I highly doubt it. Thanks Matteo for the great information because it really makes a difference knowing that.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 года назад +1

      Yes, thats true. Otherwise I had never to change the driveshafts on my Gmade trucks, these are very strong and holds for ages. So the problem is not so big as it seams... 👍😊

    Hello Matteo.
    I’m now building my buffalo on this step but I have seen there are different servo horns available for the steering on the kit. Which one have you used, I can’t see nothing about this on the instructions...
    Thanks for these really helpful videos.

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  3 года назад +1

      It depends what type of servo you use. The different servo horns are for different servos. To fit correctly on the servos crown wheel.

    Are the ball studs all metal? Also how strong are the front shock towers and panhard mount. I had to switch mine on my Element as they were really flimsy

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  4 года назад

      In the pre-order kits the balls are metal. The shock tower and panhard mount is very strong, no problems with this, also on my older Gmade trucks (same parts) 👍😊

    i would put some plasti dipp on the exposed solders on the esc just in case so it doesnt short out

    • @Matteomeier

      👍 Maybe a good Idea, but I had never a problem with this. 😊

    Can anyone mention the electronica recommended for this model? What servo kgs, esc, hobby 1060 is ok?? Im new and i'd like to mount this kit, but i dont find any info abour electronics. I dont want to buy something initially and then, when you get experienced, notice that doesnt fit correctly for this model. Thanks

    • @Matteomeier
      @Matteomeier  3 года назад

      Depends on the price tag you looking for. In the video you can see my brushless setup, which is not cheap. I would recommend a Hobbywing 1080, much better than 1060 but not much more expensive.

    Hallo , Matteo . Schönes Video. Kannst du mir vielleicht sagen ob die buffalo karo mit den anbauteilen aufs gs02 Chassis passt ?
    von den hinteren Haltern her im Chassis meine ich.
    Mach weiter so.
    Gruß Mark

      @Matteomeier  4 года назад

      Hallo Mark, ja die hinteren Halterungen haben den selben Abstand und Durchmesser. Vorne ist der Abstand jedoch anders. LG Matteo

    I'm not a fan of the Driveshaft being PART of the Axle Pinion - like the old Vaterra Ascender...
    However I'm certain that the Aftermarket WILL have a more standard Driveshaft solution.
    Matteo - that's really my only issue so far!!! 👍👍
    Seems like and excellent bit of Kit! Your Videos STILL have me debating between this GS-02F or the MST CFX-W (which I've WANTED for YEARS!) I can't WAIT for April, when this Nightmare will finally be over.
    My Friend, I wish you and your Family all the best, and the most Joyous of Holiday Seasons! 🎄❄
    Unfortunately for us, things will be much worse before this is over. We can't even afford a TREE, much less any Presents under it....
    Well, I have health.
    Take care my Friend!! 👊😉

      Yes, these drive shafts are not so common, but they are very strong. Have in the BOM the same and they work without problems for years now. Wish you also nice holidays and all the best for you and your family Carmine! 😊😊
