I appreciate both mechanical and quartz watches. I have a SEIKO Alpinist that I've owned since 2018. And in Feb 2020, I bought a SEIKO Ananta Spring Drive Moonphase reference SNR023. I basically wore the Spring Drive for the entire year, and when I went back to wearing the mechanical Alpinist and I just felt fatigued whenever I adjusted it to correct timing. Now, I've been wearing my Spring Drive for almost three months straight and till this exact moment right now it only gained +0.4 seconds. This doesn't mean that mechanical watches are dead to me, and perhaps that Alpinist is an affordable watch so I haven't experienced the privilege of wearing greatly finished and regulated mechanical watch. Just as I dream of owning a finely crafted and finely tuned Breguet, I also dream of having the super engineered CITIZEN Cal 0100 in white gold because that is beautiful and romantic too. I appreciate 🙏 the video and I look forward to part 2.
