I first wanted to say that I recently found your tutorials and I wanted to say that you are the one person who finally made me understand better about line art so thank you for that. I’ve recently started to take art more seriously after taking a huge break and I am currently in the process of finding my style and just something’s I wanted to ask for is coloring tutorial. I struggle with it so much and I love the way you use color. And would you recommend a tablet for starting or a pad. Anyways sorry for the novel but I had to ask Edit: I didn’t see that you already had a video for beginners so my bad but coloring I would still like to see pls🙏
Thank you so much! I’m so happy I could help you. Also, I think a coloring tutorial is genius! So much so, I already started writing the script! 😂 As for tablet vs IPad… I think both are wonderful. My first tablet was an Artisul. It was 200 dollars. They’re really inexpensive for screened tablets, but still wonderful for beginners. Some tablets, as you know, are screenless. I’ve never used them, so I can’t comment on how well they perform. That being said, they are the cheapest route. Some cost as little as 20 USD. Though in the video I used my IPad, I recently switched to using a Huion tablet. Both the IPad and Huion are wonderful options. They’re also really exspensive options. If money isn’t an issue, I recommend them over a screenless or cheaper screened tablet. Between an IPad or a more professional grade tablet, it really boils down to your intended uses. Tablets that hook to your PC will have access to PC programs. You can do 3D modeling, advanced animation, as well as stream/make art content more easily. The IPad is simply more handy. Last night I was working on a commission on my Computer but sent it to my IPad to finish it because I wanted to work from my bed. For me, it also feels more natural because I can hold it or move the IPad into more positions than a Tablet. You can also take it places. As I mentioned earlier, though, the programs and processing power are limited. It’s still functional, don’t get me wrong, but don’t except to be making complex 3D models or huge animation projects. I hope this helped! 😄 Edit: I forgot to mention, but I’m really happy for you! It can be hard to get back into drawing after so long. I speak from experience. I took a break for four years and thought I’d never pick up a pencil again. But if feels so refreshing and amazing that I did. And I’m glad you’re able to have that experience as well. Do you have a social media that you post your art on? I’d love to see it. Maybe we could even do an art trade to celebrate you getting back into drawing?
YOUR SO UNDERRATED ITS INSANE! In all seriousness, this was extremely helpful and you are a very talented artist. I really hope you make it far in your path to greatness 😊
I’m glad I was able to help! And yeah, tangent lines are something not a lot of people learn about. I only learned about them a year ago and I’ve been drawing for years 😅

This video was very helpful 😌I didn’t know about tangent lines and I realize that was what was making me annoyed with line art (also chicken scratch)💀

Line art isn't my least favorite because I'm bad at it, it's my least favorite because it's the most time consuming part 😭
That’s true too! Sometimes I wish I could snap my fingers and be done cause I wanna get to the shading 😂
