The issue I run into with Wireless mic's is on the insta360 the mic receiver shows in the frame. Any suggestions what to do or products that can be used with the insta360 and NOT show in the frame?
I actually fought this battle and found a solution. I use the Ulanzi Triple Cold Shoe (without using the actual cold shoe) and instead I use just the piece that has the small platform. I use 3M dual lock and adhere the wireless go to it. DM me on Instagram (@followdon) and I can show you what the solution looks like. You can either use a super short cable and put it on the top in the stitch line, or a long mic cable and get it under your hand at the bottom of your selfie stick. I go with hiding the mic in the stitch line and the top. The One X2 users actually have an Insta360 designed Mic mount that hides the Rode Wireless Go in the stitch line. It's much harder with the Insta360 One R.
Looking forward to the next video. Don have you and TheOneWheelWing gone trail riding yet? I’m interested to see how you feel about film on trails. When I get my Onewheel I’ll be trying to ride urban and trail.
We’ve both ridden trails before. We haven’t gone together to film that. OneWheelWing got a Skydio 2, and that might be the way to go for filming more aggressive trails. I don’t know how ready I am to take the gimbal setup out on the trails 😅 But overall, it’s a fun challenge!

Is it okay if you just stick your iPhone to a selfie stick and film that way?
I wouldn’t recommend it. Limited stabilization, and camera field of view, and risk of damaging your phone are the main reasons.

Why would you want two receivers and one transmitter. The mix is the transmitter transmits the audio to the receiver .
