I think a lot of gamers, myself included, dislike how much alike most VNs look. I get that there aren't a lot of tools available to games with 3D models like this, especially small companies on a budget. A lot of them are using the same assets and graphics tools to tell their stories, so many of them look "fake" compared to a AAA game like Cyberpunk. So if you're new to the genre, it can be hard to tell the different games apart. Watching game trailers, it's tough to tell the well-written, interesting stories from cheap shovelware.
@@BCWasbrough that's why this channel exist. To help us distinguished which games are noteworthy and which games are shovelware. @SexPositiveGaming Think of it this way: I can appreciate the worldbuilding that goes into a high fantasy story just as I can appreciate the research that goes into historical fiction. Cyberpunk 2077 is an adult game if we see it in the real meaning of the term. But I think you mean more sexual content, and that is something they will not do because their games will get labelled for adults only, so they will loose players of lower ages and that means less money.
I hear you. I'd pay good money for a remake of Bonetown using Cyberpunk's graphics engine. (The gameplay of Bonetown. The writing was embarrassing even when it was new in the mid-2000s.)

Unlike audio books, you can at least skip ahead when you're done reading a screen. Sometimes, I don't even really read each screen, I just skim each one enough to get the gist of what they're saying. So, most visual novels for me are just sitting there clicking my mouse or space bar faster than the software can keep up.

Midnight Paradise: Dreams of Desire is a top tier VN, so this one had promise. Holy Whore Emily: Princess Trainer? Pass. Corrupted Paradise: Seems interesting. Will do deep dive. Summer For You: Sandbox Slop? Race of Life - Act 1: Beautiful Gobbos, got me hooked. AV Director Life!: Interesting concept, too bad it's been delayed. Did the devs give a reason? Mutant College: Got demo, XSex, heck yeah. Keep an eye on Futanari games too. Dickgirl Dorm and The Futa Experiment are being worked on a decent amount this year.
Hey I was just curious if you knew about a really good vampire corruption game. It's called Crimson Veil and it's really good. I thought you might want to check it out
The Summer For You and AV Director Life seems like being finally two of those promising titles that met with my preferences of hentai gaming. Are these released or has an approximate release date when these come out?
It is note a newly released steam game, but I recently found out about Love and Deepspace, a little more than a year old mobile game. Looks very interesting if we gloss over that it is a gatcha game and that it doesn't show anything explicit. Anyone know about anything similar but but that would have also the explicit parts?
@@SexPositiveGaming I also don't really play gatcha games. I hate microtransactions and I am looking for somthing with similar flavors and aesthetics. I really like what I have seen in videos and haven't yet seen anything comparable in other titles. The graphics are great and the authors seem to really know how to cater for the female gaze.
There are just a very few which happened to be quality ones, but those are definitely not published by Kagura Games for sure. Those are rather Patreon exclusive gems. Lacto Escape for example is a fantastic one, except that project development is crawling very slowly.
Some people like their games to have actual gameplay. A visual novel has no meaningful primary game loop or skill based challenges. It's essentially watching a movie. Possibly a movie with branching paths, but not a game.
Most visual novels only offer false choices. You might get a different line of dialogue or two, or perhaps an extra scene, but then the story proceeds essentially unaltered. It's understandable, of course -- it's hard enough to write a single good story, every meaningful choice essentially means you have to write another one. Still, it means you're essentially locked in and it can be off-putting if the MC starts doing/saying things you wouldn't. (For instance, I've put down several VNs when it became apparent that the MC just likes abusing/humiliating women (and why are there so many of those stories?) which simply isn't my spice.) So whether you enjoy a VN or just waste a bunch of time *really* depends on the story-teller, and it's so hard to tell ahead of time if they're telling a story that can resonate with you. That's why it was better when SPG could list flavors, but big corps want conformity for the lowest common denominator -- it's easer to market to -- so we get what we get. On the other hand, personally, I also don't like games of other genres where the spicy content is just sort of slapped on as a way of making it spicy. There's plenty of free porn if that's what I want, and I have a second monitor if I want a game at the same time.

Have you ever done, or ever considered doing a video on female AV Dev's? I'm looking for a new game right now and would really enjoy a female protagonist game that is written by a woman.
When It comes to erotic games I personally prefer VNs especially those that don't have any open-world, point and click or RPG elements in them, however there are a small handfull of actual ero games that I don't mind playing

Have fun! #currentevents
Hey I was just curious if you knew about a really good vampire corruption game. It's called Crimson Veil and it's really good. I thought you might want to check it out
Thanks for the recommendation!
@@SexPositiveGaming :)
The Summer For You and AV Director Life seems like being finally two of those promising titles that met with my preferences of hentai gaming. Are these released or has an approximate release date when these come out?
End of the month for the first and supposedly now Q2 for the second.
It is note a newly released steam game, but I recently found out about Love and Deepspace, a little more than a year old mobile game. Looks very interesting if we gloss over that it is a gatcha game and that it doesn't show anything explicit.
Anyone know about anything similar but but that would have also the explicit parts?
I don't really cover gatcha games. Sorry!
You like gaming alot!
Yes I do!
Bonetown is getting player homes next!
Interesting!
Now if they can just map the battle system to a controller. And make it work better. The only issue I ever had was their terrible battle system.
How can someone follow this channel and not like visual novels?
People like different styles of games just like they like different flavors.
I don't mind visual novels, just need more with female main characters
That would be nice.
Love the Taiwan love. Taiwan, the country.
Let's try not to get me in trouble!
I feel called out, lol
Sorry!
No such thing as too many visual novels. Keep em coming.
I will!
I'm still wooking for twu wuv...
Have you tried looking for it in Florin?
need more cartoonish/anime/pixel RPG maker games
I am absolutely sure that there we be plenty released this year.
Strong, your sarcasm game is.
- Yoda, probably.
I hope you are being sarcastic because rpg maker anime corn games is the most common that you can find in the indie market.
There are just a very few which happened to be quality ones, but those are definitely not published by Kagura Games for sure. Those are rather Patreon exclusive gems. Lacto Escape for example is a fantastic one, except that project development is crawling very slowly.
Aw hell nah, definitely not rpg maker games
More EA games to wishlist... I just realized the list is growing faster than games are getting done, might be time for spring cleaning soon!
Sorry!
Why people dislikes visual novels?
Visual novels are less interactive, people who like games prefer to have more to say in them, and choices aren't usually that significant.
Visual novels are fine… only if they are rpg 😅
Some people like their games to have actual gameplay. A visual novel has no meaningful primary game loop or skill based challenges. It's essentially watching a movie. Possibly a movie with branching paths, but not a game.
I am confident they will let you know!
I only like visual novels in adult games. everything else (sandbox, open world, rpg, etc.) just feels like a chore
That's fair.
-1 000 000 social credit points + interesting times to you comrade!

I hope not!
guys do you know whats mean "VN"?
Visual Novel
@@SexPositiveGaming so its mean vn type games completely have lantern slides?
love sesert stalker altoight i recoment playing with censors on becauseu as awesome as this game is you will see some gory sh't even with censors on
Yeah. I had to censor violence in the video and I've never had to censor for that before.
Best japnese android game 😅😅😅
Thanks for sharing!
VN's for life!!! Seriously, it's the format that birthed this industry. No reason for hate. If you don't like them, just move on. I hate RTS games, but I don't spend anytime saying how pointless I think they are lol. Different strokes for different folks.
I mean I do get people telling me how much they dislike rts games when I talk about them.
Have you ever done, or ever considered doing a video on female AV Dev's? I'm looking for a new game right now and would really enjoy a female protagonist game that is written by a woman.
Great suggestion! Given how private most devs are in this industry, that may be tricky. Maybe in the future!
@@SexPositiveGamingYeah that’s true, though it would be fun to do a stream guessing who is and who isn’t
When It comes to erotic games I personally prefer VNs especially those that don't have any open-world, point and click or RPG elements in them, however there are a small handfull of actual ero games that I don't mind playing
I hope you find something in this list that you like!
3:15 What, no Greek language? ....😠😩😧😟
Maybe it's a Turkish developer?
edit: This was an attempt at humor.
@@SexPositiveGaming😂 Maybe he is.
Who knows?😂
But honestly this is a common problem in gaming industry.
They translate their games based on the big population countries that is more possible to play the game than low population ones.
I think.
i have some hate to grafic novel nsfw games, a lot of them fell same, but i have a special isue with them, but not all people have the same problem i have, and in the other hand i can't really rol my character, you need to roll exactly the story tell you to do or you get a bad ending, full your money to get rich one, full your smart for the nerdy one, full your fisical for the jog or fitness one, go to all partys to the social one, and the last one, in real life, you meet this person in 1 party, maybe she or he tell you to go another one, if they like you, they don't force you to go one, after other, and other, more if they know you are not that social person.

Mmmm a lot of IA generated images, where is the art!?

It Suck's! There all forced Male players characters besides Corrupted Paradise its only half forced
Sorry!
If more than 90% of the players who pay to play those games are males, what do you expect?
@@Old-Tobyyep, hence why we have novels for women and not straight men as well!
