Omg yey! This game is one of my top RPG make games because of how the story unfolds. For me its on par with Witch's House, although that one is a classic!
Scooter is different position from when she came in. The first time she came is a bit on the right. But, when she got out, it's in front of the cell door. So...
*girl finally escape and reach her cursed scooter* Scooter: [ what did i tell you Girl ? "someday I will take you to a real haunted house ;-)" just don't blame me if old Cthulhu like to put his tentacles everywhere he likes ]
The concept of this game is my literal worse nightmare. The time-space distortion, the lack of true freedom, and the endless cycle gives me unending chills. The only thing that I would consider to be even worse, is to be completely alone inside that building without any living creatures or any form of social interaction. I'm not saying that isolation itself terrifies me, but just imagine going through what the protagonist went through, and your only option is to roam the house and eventually either die of starvation, or commit suicide to end the torment. The hopeless wandering would crush my very being.
Endless yet finite. After all the tentacle shit at some point takes the girl over. So its the feeling of dread every second and no way to find an exit, there isnt enough time to work with the other you's. Sacrifice is the only option that is laid out plainly in front.
SPOILERS: What I find super interesting(and disturbing) about this game. In that mansion, the killer, that mysterious person in that cell and the stranger...and maybe the bones and corpses... They're all the same person... They're all Girl from different loops. It's rare for a horror game where there are literally no other characters but you and your other selves. And that ending with Girl falling off the cliff with tons of other Girls bodies, that was both disturbing and amazing. I'm just surprised how well made this game was. I was expecting just a generic horror rpg maker game with "youtubers" joke but it ended up being alot better than I thought.
@@L16htW4rr10r I was thinking it was what that note said, about the god revealing itself to you as the person you hold dearest. So maybe it was trying to communicate with Girl in some way through taking the form of her sister... but to what end exactly? I'm not 100% on that, I would have to watch it through again.
Raerae23 Yeah! It was definitely deeper than I thought it would be, and I found myself hooked and wondering what would happen next. Like Manly said, its not a totally or unique type of plot, but the execution is definitely up there, and I think it helps a lot that as you pointed out, the cast is made up of basically the same person. Luckily we got some really frequent uploads and got to see all the endings!
*meanwhile in real life* : WHAT'S POPPIN' GUYS, WE JUST PULLED UP TO THIS CREEPY MANSION AT 3AM GUYS, THIS MANSION IS FULL OF KILLERS AND SQUID MONSTERS TRYING TO KILL ME GUYS. OH MY GOD IS THAT ME, BRO? DUDE I'M TRYING TO CUT MY EYE OUT, THIS IS SO SCARY GUYS. BRO MY EYE'S GONE AND NOW IT'S ITCHY, OH MY GOD GUYS. ANYWAY MAKE SURE YOU HIT THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON AND DON'T FORGET TO HIT LIKE, I'M OUT BRO, GONNA NEED TO EAT SOON
What's sad is that even if she escaped and uploaded this video of her experience and stuff all'd she get are commments like " Don't worry guys its just some edgy art project." " Its just some shitty ARG" " FIRST" " FAKE! I CAN SEE THE PIXELS ON THE CG MODEL."
but for the handful of people that believe it or might want to prove it for themselves, they might visit the house, infinitely getting more people stuck in the loop and the monsters will grow even more. that's just my theory.
I would never watch a video like that or just watch a little for like 15 minutes then swear to myself to never watch it again or follow other of those videos...
The game's endings turned out better than I thought they would. Tho I still would have liked an ending where Girl escapes, uploads the video and doesn't get any views because the youtube algorithm screws her harder than the cursed house. Speaking of Girl I love her design. It's simple but the purple eyes and the blonde hair + her smug expressions just look really good. I wish I would have come up with that design for one of my own ocs. Also I love how her mood changes from smug and confident in the beginning to scared and desperate in the end. All in all I enjoyed this game a lot, hopefully more rpg maker games like this get released.
Could the jump-off-a-cliff ending be related to when we saw a bunch of faces on the ground for a split second when she looked out the window earlier? Damn! That's creepy. Imagine looking out to see a sea of rotting corpses that are all just... you.
So she fell out of the window there? Gosh... I guess this means that the bandaged Girl is the og, and all the rest are clones that _think_ their the original.
Girl has survived many things in this spooky mansion. A killer. Deep fried versions of herself. Creepy statues. Fast porcupine tentacle boi. But now she's alive. Or is she?
I think she did genuinely escape alive in the final ending, but she can't ever fully recover. Her idea of the world being a safe and normal place is permanently broken, she can't sleep anymore, and she's debating using the window for something else. This is colloquially known as PTSD.
No she didn't. You have to remember that she's stuck in a time loop. It doesn't matter what she does. She's stuck. Worst part is that apparently she got a parasite in her and it's only a matter of time until it kills her. How tragic.
I like the idea that in the end where she makes it out alive, she eventually edits the video and finds ENDLESS tapes that she doesn't remember happening, and most of them lead to her death. That every time she died, she kept the tape but didn't know it till the editing process. I just think that'd be morbidly interesting.
I think that just like how the entity was stuck in the future you's eye, since it was most likely sacrificed, it now possesses the hand of the present you. It would explain the reflection in the window. So not only have you escaped, but you're stuck forever with an outer God in you. Still, it's a better ending than the rest.
True. Wait, in the last ending, the protagonist was able to escape, right? She sacrificed her finger, but the entity is now in her through her finger? At she's alive, with her sister visiting her. That's good, right?
@@rickynguyen5108 That is, unless the Outer God starts manifesting in her finger and take control of her body in the post-ending. You've seen the tentacle monster and how tentacles grew out of the other girl's eye. That might happen to her too.
@@Faramik2000 I thought she became a monster because she ate the monster dead body when she said she was hungry. I think it would be implied because otherwise the loops would leave a ton of monster corpses, but I could be wrong.
I am almost 99% sure it is, hence why they said they would have to kill you. They probably gouged out their own eyes and tied themselves up to prevent themselves from both becoming a monster and also hurting others, unless completely necessary.
I know, right? My mom and me both have food intolerances that can make patches of skin really itchy, and scratching it usually makes the reaction worse. It's not an eye socket for either of us, but I can still attest to how excruciating it is if you have an itch that you can't scratch...
I got stabbed on my eye lid by a plant (not sure if it went through the socket, it didn't get to my eye), this was many years ago After it was treated, I spent a long time with that itch and yeah, its the worst, like I often got my hand near it because I was so tempted in scratching it or at least feeling it. I guess it was torture (I don't remember clearly), its bearable if you know it's temporary
The devs obviously knows how to craft a compelling horror story. This is amazing, I almost cursed Manly for sticking to the RUclipsr character and post only 30 minutes of video each day. I want to see a sequel to this game already, just like I want to see a sequel to Witch's House.
6 Years later and still waiting a sequel and now it looks i would put Cat in the Box to the list. I really have the feeling the creators really don't like sequels and even less happy/decent endings.
It's been a year, but I can say with full confidence that this is the second best game that has legitematy scared me next to DDLC. It may not be as scary as a fourth wall break, but the story was so equally disturbing and the ambience was an absolute joy. I hope to see people translating more games from these game developers and Manly playing them because this was awesome.
I'm assuming there's 5 girls currently in this iteration fo the cycle. Correct me if I'm wrong. The one eyed monster, which I believe is the final state of the girls degeneration as after you leave the altar with the stranger girl's corpse, a monster bursts out of it despite there being now signals of a monster there. The bounded prisoner, which I think is a girl who handicapped herself to make sure she never becomes a monster. The killer, who is also a girl but has probably fell into complete insanity. After all, the killer's cloth and the stranger's cloth are the same. The stranger, who's been in the cycle a lot longer than you. And finally, you, the girl.
My theory goes that the Entity we see in the "Escaped House" ending was actually asleep and was woken up when the girl first entered the house, it subsequently traps her inside, and then it started the Loop to feed off her suffering when she attempted to use the ritual to escape. My theory goes that the Entity could trap her in the house but not kill her, it's only after she attempts the ritual in a fit of panic does she awaken the Entity all the way and it traps her for real.
Call me a nerd, but I really wish there was an ending where you could just hop onto the scooter and leave, without touching the house. I feel like she would come back, comment how she never got RUclips famous, but she's still alive...but was it worth it?
I feel Atleast one meme ending would’ve been suitable for this game, hell they could even make it fit into the whole “hopeless and preordained” schtick by making her daughter go into the mansion just like she would’ve
Always fun when a game has a way to nope out right at the beginning. Or some obviously bad endings, that you don't even have to think about why they're bad. Like in Neir Automata where you can just take out the OS chip. Or during an important story scene just run off.
i'm ashamed to be disappointed the mysterious person wasn't a hot anime guy but happy to say the game is amazing nonetheless and that there's at least one semi-happy ending
I really enjoy the multiple dark endings and cyclical meaning, and although many people expect to see the happy "Yay I got out fine!" kind of ending I feel like it's suitable that each ending has some sort of darkness to it - such as jumping off the cliff, or probably being possessed (we don't know for sure if this is what happened). As the game is likely making a message to content creators that they shouldn't do stupid, reckless things just for internet fame and clout, it makes sense that somebody as moronic as 'Girl' ends up with unfavorable endings. After all, she did end up killing a person (except in the betrayal ending, but who knows? Maybe she'll do it in the next cycle?) so in a sense all the misfortune coming down on her is more of karma. Main moral of the story? Don't barge into some creepy possessed house if all you want out of it is views and clicks. Fame isn't ever worth risking your life. You can lose fame and then gain it again, but when you lose life you can't bring that back.
If you want to really put yourself for a loop, she technically ended her life by going near the house no matter what time loop. Her leaving "herself" to do the ritual mid way might as well be killing her. Then there's the monsters which could possibly be her. The stacks of cassette tapes, bodies, the box with the bolt cutter (which probably came from the timeline where she decided to take it with her) piled up shows it already occurred before. Finally, to top if off, i would suspect the last "Stranger's note" was written by her after, well the other versions of her tricked them like an escalating chain letter.
Had me until that second paragraph. The notion that this is karmic justice is obviously absolutely absurd and I shouldn't have to explain why. Yep, wanting to make a spooky video on some cult mansion for RUclips, definitely a crime worthy of almost eternal damnation. And are we really going to pretend she deserves being looped because she killed someone who was going to gouge out her eye? She didn't even do the killing herself and had no way of knowing that version of her was about to die if she didn't sacrifice herself immediately.
But that corpse was on the Roof of the elevator. Why would she climb up there? There was no chair in the elevator so I assume she jumped down from another level?
@@theotv5522 She could get pushed down from second floor while the elevator is still at the first floor or something like that. I'm sure there is the impact from falling make the roof bent inward a bit. Otherwise, the roof wouldn't look suspicious if they are going up normally. If you are going to ask why is elevator the first floor when both of herself are on second floor, the answer is, the time and space are already twisted enough to make it happened, like how multiple of her exist at the same time. She could already be dead for years on that roof before another version of her could get a hold on the elevator. Just like the explaination about shrodinger's cat.
@@InnocentC0 My answer was from your original comment where I assume you were talking about the moment when she is going to the exit and the monster was waiting for her at the elevator exit. She heard the thing and tried to climb out before the doors open.
I had a feeling the stanger was Girl herself as soon as she asked for chocolate bars. It just makes so much sense for a time looper to beg their past self for candy they don' have because they gave it away to their future self in the past.
Man, Girl is looking worse and worse each playthroughs. Edit: Now I finally know the context of this video's thumbnail....Girl SERIOUSLY look worse alright... in each loops
@@nil2819 Before watching the whole thing, the thumbnail I thought it was just Girl herself who end up so badly injured by the monsters that she bandaged herself up while exploring. Until I kept watching the video and learned that this isnt our current Girl but the Girl who got trapped in one loop AND made current Girl lose an eye as well, thus becoming that Girl
I'm guessing for the first killer it's likely the deceived girl gone insane. The stranger is the girl forced to give her eye determined to escape by any means. Tendril monster is the girl becoming eye creature after murdering the other girl. They all kind of exist at the same time in a weird way. My brain hurts.
For anyone who doesn't know, this game is actually from the developer of Leave, which I believe Manly has also let's played. The main character of Leave even makes a very small cameo at the end where you only see her sprite walking down the hospital hallway (she's the one above the green haired lady.) This game also seems to have ties to another game by the same developer that never got translated called STYGIAN. *SPOILERS AHEAD* . . . . . The sister of the main character in this game is actually one of the three main characters from STYGIAN. I don't remember the story of that game all too well, but the tentacle monsters also make an apperance in it, and it also ends with a ritual segment. I'm pretty sure that this game is a loose prequel to it. Since the game is heavily tied to STYGIAN and Leave's main character makes an apperance, I'm fairly sure there could be some ties to the developer's other game DISORDER as well, but I can't actually confirm that because I haven't played it.
Sadly your comment doesn't have more likes, Because what you say is so TRUE and interesting, I was watching the artist's twitter (The one who drew the characters at least) and ended up finding pictures of all the other characters from the other connected games
While I do think the 'good ending' is meant to be interpreted quite literally as in this tenticle god monster thing got out with her too I think it could also be a more psychological ending. We see it flash for the first time in the window but after that it isn't there which I think is supposed to show it isn't actually out there, but it is there mentally for girl. Yes she escaped the mansion alive but the events will always live with her. She is traumatised. She is alive but in every other way she lost her life in the mansion. So physically she isn't being haunted by it, but mentally she is still trapped in the time loop because she can never move on from her trauma.
This game was amazing! And the plot is so interesting, I love it! I'm assume the person that was bandaged and locked up was a version of you that refused to give into killer you's torture. Killer girl cut out both her eyes, possibly caused other injuries, but she still refused to preform the ritual and let her out, so the killer version (presumably having lost her eye after giving into a previous version's torture) locked her up in hopes she could evertually get her to cave. Then you came along and she hoped that she could get you to perform the ritual. This is why she tries to gaslight you into believing the prisoner didn't exist. This also explains why, when you try to help the prisoner, she kills you. She had no way of knowing you weren't the same one that's been torturing her.
Technically couldnt the schrodingers cat effect apply to the eldritch god within you? Maybe it's there maybe it isn't? We don't know for sure, I guess thats a more optimistic view of it.
Damn, you were the box all along. If it's not destroyed, you may end up freeing the "cat" that was inside. But lmao, everytime she lives, the "cat" manages to escape.
It is always interesting when a game has a bunch of endings and none of them are good. I like how it used them though to add more lore to the world, that effectively every option was taken and there is no way out... well other then the old protag being selfless and letting the past her out so she doesn't suffer like she does... and that is my only complaint to be honest. Even if she still ran off the cliff and died thinking she had escaped. Or she just never was able to put two and two together over a set/infinite number of runs.
I think that she just wanted to run away from all the suffering. She has been trough so much that her survival instinct came before morality. She didn't want to help anybody but herself. Being desperate to live is a normal thing after all the suffering... We are animals after all
I only question why no one worked together or left info for the next loop of herself. I understand if she couldn't figure out everything on her own since she could probably die of starvation, but who else knows how to work with you better than yourself?
@@flamo2666 Thee and Thou has same meaning with different function. Thee means You as object in a sentence meanwhile Thou means You as a subject in a sentence.
So you killed your future self that was traversing through dimensions that also killed different "you's" which explains all the bodies but ... How is present "you" that escaped the mansion alive ?
Miguel Angel Medina Rise I’m guessing it has to do with Schrodinger‘s cat mentioned at the beginning of the game. Basically she escaped but didn’t escape at the same time. That’s the only guess I have
Because the "god"/entity/whatever that controls the mansion is probably the one "Girl" how ascended? That explains for me a lot (for example the "monters" looking like "Girl") Also Interdimensional Hive Mind.
A nice touch: the girl in the jail, with both of her eyes banded? She's "her" from a different timeline, being tortured. You know, the "torture you until you do it" thingy.
@@thestenchmostfoul9341 wait here's what I don't understand, if they're both the same person why does the one before her need her sacrifice, the one you play as sacrifices her own finger and manages to escape, couldn't the one before done that too?, or was it because she had to gather the materials and or the sacrifice can only be done once for each version of her?
Isn’t it interesting how it says in the notes that for you to escape you need someone else to sacrifice a body part... and in the end it’s just the girl tricking herself into doing it... so isn’t it basically doing it herself since it... is her?
My guess is that if you perform the Ritual yourself you can still leave. Perhaps another girl tricked our one-eyed girl and made her perform the Ritual. That's why tentacles came out of her eye. So our one-eyes girl thinks that someone else needs to be sacrificed.
I admit I would enjoy some secret joke ending to see the smug smiling face of the protag one last time. Sadly, don't seem to be a dog anywhere to pull a Silent Hill/World of Horror one.
Hmm it is possible since people might also see what is happening inside the mansion and there is a chance it will become an attraction where the girl died and more people will either explore the mansion, call spirit eterminators, or close the building and let guards guard it so others will not be able to check it out.
SPOILERS Her sister said "I don't know what would I do if I lost you too" This means she actually go to the mansion searching for Girl, and she is also in her own loop when we see "her" in part 1.
Now that I’ve seen Stygian, maybe that eldritch monster possibly living inside the sister was glad the other version of itself possessing youtube girl got out to the real world too? I dunno lol
This game seems to be conected to other games from the same artist, I you wanna see where the characters like the green hair girl are i recomend seeing the twiiter of the artist @rollcakecakecak
i got my hot instant ramen with me oh boy i sure hope nothing bad happens like spilling it all over myself after seeing a jumpscare edit: 35:10 OH GOD....well, at least i finished my ramen first
You know, this game reminds me of the movie *Triangle* where the woman kept going back in time to save her friends on a cruise ship. Only to discover that the killer was Past her who went insane and done all this just to save her son from a previous iteration of herself. Time paradox is interesting... and confusing to unravel. 🤔
Some of my assumption on first part was spot on, for once. I thought this is going to be some sort of experiment, judged by an effect. But, it quickly proved by how she resumed her recording again. Creators really put thoughts in it. Everything that we have met are already foreshadowed and it all showed at the end of the game how it happened. It's pretty nice touch. But, I wonder where is the other people who lived here before? Are they all dead? Assuming there is no one report about it, I guess none of them are survived. Or, those survivors are like her, they are afraid to report what happened in the house. It's too bad that she doesn't brave enough to look at her recorders what happened. But, if she does, it might look like she react to nothing or some sort. Also, it might call 'fake video' anyway if it's all on records. This game is really good. It got me hooked up in the game to the end. Gameplay wise is pretty standard for rpg horror game. But, that is not a bad thing. I feel thankful for everyone involved in this game. Creators, translators, Manly and lastly, Girl. Thanks you so much.
@@SurprizE98 im not sure about that actually :") but the possibility sure makes you think isnt it.. like the other girl is definitely instrumental to them being able to reach the ritual room in the first place
21:27 - "Boy we're stupid. But then again, we are a RUclipsr," says Manly, a RUclipsr. --- This is game is so tongue-in-cheeky, but it had surprisingly dark and depressing endings, as well as some pretty cool and creepy moments. I was pleasantly surprised how this was executed. :o I feel so bad for Girl though she was just a dumb little RUclipsr who wanted to make a quick spooky video, only to go through all this suffering. :c
I love the horror so much. especially with that last ending, the girl was basically being "punished" for having the simple desire or curiosity of the place. It doesn't matter if she doesn't go and explore the mansion, she's already doomed for being there.
I love how there isn’t a good ending. Point of it is, don’t fuck with cult rituals, your curiosity will kill you.... or even worse, you might just spread that sickness further then you’d even imagine. In my opinion, even when the earlier version of you escapes, due to her sacrificing earlier, the deity will still escape into the world/possibly already had from even before the start of the game. What’s been done likely can’t be stopped, it’s just game over from the get go.
You wanna know when I started to have doubts in the "stranger"? It was when they knew that we had the camera, understandably they could just seen it in our hand. However, if it was so dark that we couldn't see them, there is no way that someone with one eye is gonna see us any better. She had to have been watching us or remembering what she had done during her loops just so she could know how long until the ritual starts .
And the scary thing is, we DON'T know what choices we make will either go against the loop or just keep moving but forward. The more we do the worse it gets. Or the less we do the worst it gets. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
This was a very good RPG game. I'm happy that the game's ending was ambiguous at best. It's the kind of ending that despite the fact it seems down, it has hope. There are still things I feel were unanswered about the cult though.
Yeah, in the best ending possible Girl escapes the loop but the entity is inside her and probably would come out sooner or later, but her one eyed self says that she was in the mansion with the thing inside her a very long time so there's hope. It would be a nice opportunity for a sequel where Girl tries to get rid of the entity for good and at the same time save her sister and possibly the world meanwhile the entity tries to stop her putting her in a loop "game" again this time in the hospital.
@@sa1.artsss this is likely it because remember the paper that mentioned how you have to sacrifice blood for forgiveness? I don't remember where in the episodes I saw it, but that's most likely why hair wont work

Wow this game really surprised me. I'm glad it wasn't the "she was dead all along" twist. But man, it was AWFUL. Not in a bad way - but the story was so awful for the MC. I was really surprised how amazing and original it was. It's sad it didn't have any good ending, but at the same time, it wouldn't really fit the mood and story if it did. I also think it's the first time ever I see a game with only ONE single character being there during the entirety of the main events, with only multiple versions of them due to a space-time loop. I'm really not sensitive to horror, you know. I'm too "scared" of playing RPG-Maker type horror games, but it's because I have an inexplicable fear of loosing in games (as in, getting a game over I didn't want to), and awfully bad reflexes and coordination at the same time, which makes loosing extremely easy in horror games that have a lot of reaction or QTE based things. Because of that, it's a bad form of anxiety not related at all to the horror aspect, but simply to the reaction time aspect, and because of that I can't enjoy the game at all. That's my reason to watch most of the non-VN horror games on youtube instead of playing myself (Ib and Satsuriku no Tenshi being exceptions). But really, I'm not affected by the horror aspect per se - because of that, horror falls into two categories for me: comedy and tragedy. Slashers and stuff like that are pure comedy to me (especially since I don't like actual comedy). But more often than not, if a horror movie or game isn't going for the absurdly gory or violent action packed thing with no depth whatsoever, it's going to be a sad story with a probably very bad ending (or endings). Basically, horror almost always either makes me laugh or cry. But then, you have some rare gems like this one. Sure, it makes me sad. But I felt genuinely stressed out during most of the thing. The atmosphere was great - it really made me feel anxious the way horror should. And I can say that about VERY few other games (and no movies at all).
Since the first time we "see" the stranger or more like didn't see i was sure it was the main protagonist mostly for the chocolate then when the stranger for got we already give chocolate i mostly understand how all this game work Excellent game
Probably cause i played lot of rpg maker games and they often have a twist with hints since the beginning so the player can be like "Of course it all make sense"and at first i just found that strange we cant see the stranger so i was thinking its cause it was a monster or a future self (was more thinking it was like a nice future self at first) and when the stranger ask for chocolate when our character said it was her favourite snack i didn't had anymore doubt
so, those who are trying to kill her, was the other her that's crazy. The other her keep killing many of her. It is really creepy when I think about it. The corpses are all HERs, just......wow....but I still don't get the statues moving on its own. really creepy, love it!!
Poor girl. She didn't deserve this. Though I wonder, what happens if you leave the closet, when you're hidding from that monster early? Do you just get a normal game over?
This game reminds me of the movie *Triangle 2009* I saw it last year, it's all a paradox. MC does whatever it takes to be a mother again even if she has to kill herself and her friends over and over again.
I watched it about a month or two ago! I was immediately reminded of it when we got to the twists, especially when the killer version of her was wearing sack for a mask!
This game gives me some Aoi Oni feels with the loop concept... only instead it's 1 person and they can only "escape" by sacrificing "someone else" aka themself.
1. Trapped the cycle continues 2. Forced, loop continues 3. Wrong finger sacrificed, the loop continues. 4. Ecsape/ tethered, the loop can continue. 5. The cycle continues but for another.
I love those RPGmaker games. This one is really great, and for me one of the best. Also i love the way you speak and make us in the ambiance. keep like this it's perfect ! don't hesitate to do more of RPGmaker game it's awesome to watch Loveyou Badasshero
The Epitaph ending wasn't a failure in a sense. The ritual worked and she did escape, she was free, the only difference here is her mental state. In the Divine ending she's catatonic, she's emotionally shut down and just walks to her scooter, in the Epitaph ending she's frantic and frenzied, thus causing her to absent mindedly run full force towards the cliff.
You missed the secret ending “patreon tshirt shadow legends”. It’s unlocked by placing your camcorder in the cup and chanting “like and subscribe like and subscribe like and subscribe”
I kind of got the incling when i saw the chocolate bar that had been there for a month... but thought it just ment she'd been there longer than it depicted, like time moved differently. Really cool concept
I noticed she said when she entered it was 12:07. But the clocks inside said it was 12:02. So my guess is once she went through the gate, the curse took hold right there.
I think this is one of my favorites from some of the recent playthroughs! Maybe I’m just a sucker for RPGmakers, but I always really enjoy these kinds of stories
You know, I wonder what would have happened if you never went into the house in the first place, and instead just drove off. Would it still trigger the loop, or would she end up in a similar situation like Roam? Edit: another thought I just had; this explains the sheer amount of blank camcorder tapes just lying around. Must be from all her other iterations.
I think she was cursed from the very beginning . She is meant to go there. And she will always go there I think the cult chose her to be the host of the entity. And the loop will continue until the girl becomes the host as seeing in the semi good ending... i think
@@kerob-sx6kx Considering just how many times she supposedly came to the mansion and either died or escaped, it certainly seems she got the short end of the stick with her destiny.

What I find super interesting(and disturbing) about this game.

Raerae23 Yeah! It was definitely deeper than I thought it would be, and I found myself hooked and wondering what would happen next. Ahh, that every loop actually happened...

I got stabbed on my eye lid by a plant (not sure if it went through the socket, it didn't get to my eye), this was many years ago
After it was treated, I spent a long time with that itch and yeah, its the worst, like I often got my hand near it because I was so tempted in scratching it or at least feeling it.

@@gabrielpoupou1479 oh....

Same i just got mad sexual tension from the stranger and girl but oh well
I really enjoy the multiple dark endings and cyclical meaning, and although many people expect to see the happy "Yay I got out fine!" kind of ending I feel like it's suitable that each ending has some sort of darkness to it - such as jumping off the cliff, or probably being possessed (we don't know for sure if this is what happened).
I mean, the cult brought her life back infinitely ;).

Her corpse on elevator must be from one ending where she didn't do any sacrifice and get attacked by one eye monster, perharps?

*SPOILERS AHEAD*
.
.
.
.
It could but I think the eldritch god is the observer of the box in this situation
@@dontpreorder2783 Damn. That makes a whole lot of sense actually

Isn’t it interesting how it says in the notes that for you to escape you need someone else to sacrifice a body part... and in the end it’s just the girl tricking herself into doing it... so isn’t it basically doing it herself since it... is her?
My guess is that if you perform the Ritual yourself you can still leave. Perhaps another girl tricked our one-eyed girl and made her perform the Ritual. That's why tentacles came out of her eye. So our one-eyes girl thinks that someone else needs to be sacrificed.

What if she had live-streamed the whole thing? Would that prevent the next Girl from another timeline to avoid this, or is it not possible?
Hmm it is possible since people might also see what is happening inside the mansion and there is a chance it will become an attraction where the girl died and more people will either explore the mansion, call spirit eterminators, or close the building and let guards guard it so others will not be able to check it out.

Maybe the tapes would turn out to be useless due to having been recorded over for years and years.
What would've happened if Girl never gave the chocolate at the beginning? Would the other Girl starve to death?
Yeah and that means no one will take care of the tentacle monster
@@nonsensicalabyss How much would that change the ending? Does the ritual still happen? Does Girl escape?
@@SurprizE98 im not sure about that actually :") but the possibility sure makes you think isnt it.. like the other girl is definitely instrumental to them being able to reach the ritual room in the first place
Welp, turns out she murders ya the next time she asks :D
@@wingedwitch191 Thank you, time traveler :3
21:27 - "Boy we're stupid. But then again, we are a RUclipsr," says Manly, a RUclipsr.

This is game is so tongue-in-cheeky, but it had surprisingly dark and depressing endings, as well as some pretty cool and creepy moments.
6:37 "I'm almost at the finish line, almost...
6:37 / 53:49
*Chuckles in time stamp.*
Isn’t this like that movie, Triangle? I love it.
that's exactly what i was thinking! it's an underused horror concept :)
And the scary thing is, we DON'T know what choices we make will either go against the loop or just keep moving but forward. The more we do the worse it gets. Or the less we do the worst it gets. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
You could say these monsters had an eye on you.
22:04 I think a better thing than finding "that" in your inventory would be to see that your HP would be reduced by like 10-20%
Whatever you can say about Girl, she isn't sponsored by Bread: Shady Lemons, so she's okay in my book.
Why didn’t she just sacrifice her hair? Doesn’t that qualify as a part of her? 🤔
I believe there needs to be human blood in every sacrifice. Using anything else just wont work
@@sa1.artsss this is likely it because remember the paper that mentioned how you have to sacrifice blood for forgiveness? I don't remember where in the episodes I saw it, but that's most likely why hair wont work
Alternatively, she could’ve ripped out a tooth. As long as it was an adult tooth, and bled, it should’ve worked
"The answer WILL shock you!"
Never clicked fast enough!
Can’t wait for another exciting episode of GirlybadassHeroine staring stressed out pretty Girl with cute tired eyes....narrated by Manlybadasshero.
....voiced by Morgan Freeman.
I believe those chocolate bars were edibles and that whole experience was just her trippin' balls.
I wish this is what edibles did 😔😔
Wow this game really surprised me.
Very good comment, Very Relatable
This game. Literally fantastic. Completely out of nowhere. Amazing plot, expertly conceptualized. Really enjoyed it.
in this video manly writes a scooby doo episode
I’d watch it.
Since the first time we "see" the stranger or more like didn't see i was sure it was the main protagonist mostly for the chocolate then when the stranger for got we already give chocolate i mostly understand how all this game work
Excellent game
what particulars gave you that direction?
Oh so the reason her eye was itchy was bc she used the same knife to kill the monster to stab girl’s eye
I half expected an Ali-A jumpscare.
Underrated comment
This is the most interesting story yet, so much theories, twists, the never-ending loop, I love everything about this game, thanks for playing this
This game reminds me of the movie *Triangle 2009*
I saw it last year, it's all a paradox. MC does whatever it takes to be a mother again even if she has to kill herself and her friends over and over again.
I watched it about a month or two ago! I was immediately reminded of it when we got to the twists, especially when the killer version of her was wearing sack for a mask!
Mugsi mhm!
I bought the deluxe edition so plus soundtrack for about 8€ thanks to you pal....and your voice...man...thank you
"I don't wanna go down"
Tell me about it
I heard that after you got all four tapes and finish the game, there is some ghost easter egg if you start the beginning.
Can anyone confirm?
This game gives me some Aoi Oni feels with the loop concept... only instead it's 1 person and they can only "escape" by sacrificing "someone else" aka themself.
1. Trapped the cycle continues
2. Forced, loop continues
3. Wrong finger sacrificed, the loop continues.
4. Ecsape/ tethered, the loop can continue.
5. The cycle continues but for another.
I love those RPGmaker games.
This one is really great, and for me one of the best.
Also i love the way you speak and make us in the ambiance. keep like this it's perfect !
don't hesitate to do more of RPGmaker game it's awesome to watch
Loveyou Badasshero
The Epitaph ending wasn't a failure in a sense. The ritual worked and she did escape, she was free, the only difference here is her mental state. In the Divine ending she's catatonic, she's emotionally shut down and just walks to her scooter, in the Epitaph ending she's frantic and frenzied, thus causing her to absent mindedly run full force towards the cliff.
The most interesting thing to me is what's happening in the real world while she is in a constant loop. Different universes?
ahh that would mean the person you found in the cell that kills you would be the you that was being tortured but didnt give in
You missed the secret ending “patreon tshirt shadow legends”. It’s unlocked by placing your camcorder in the cup and chanting “like and subscribe like and subscribe like and subscribe”
I just remembered that at the start it mentions how there’s a curse to the scooter to where all the owners died
A genuinely good rpg horror game
Haven't seen those in a while
I kind of got the incling when i saw the chocolate bar that had been there for a month... but thought it just ment she'd been there longer than it depicted, like time moved differently. Really cool concept
I noticed she said when she entered it was 12:07. But the clocks inside said it was 12:02. So my guess is once she went through the gate, the curse took hold right there.
Ngl Manly I thoroughly enjoy this little LP of yours. This game and Yuppie Psycho, both are great at building the environment.
I think this is one of my favorites from some of the recent playthroughs! Maybe I’m just a sucker for RPGmakers, but I always really enjoy these kinds of stories
sooner or later the bodies will form a nice hill down the cliff so the 1254th Girl can use to safely descend from said cliff to finally be free.
@@kyusei9144 : (....she does not deserve this....but wait she is a youtuber ahahahahha i wish there was a way to save her

Spooky little game, and I guess Manly was right, our MC truly is the biggest bully-bait of them all. Poor girl either gets eternally bullied by her own self or by some weird tentacle god thing.
Also, at 46:37 you can see the sister's sprite at the bottom right of the screen for a split second. Idk if that means anything though.
I'm now wondering what would happen if you tried to leave even before the point you tested, like before she bolt cut opened the gate
