@@indeimausI have a tip regarding the coin flips not entirely being 50/50 although idk if you’d consider something like that to be too much of a spoiler so lemme know

Tip: O'saa starts out with the spice forge, which augments your spells to ether: Cast when entering combat (green), reduce mind cost (blue), or increase dmg (red). You can buy a ring from the shop in town (Dr Kefer's shop) called Betel's Ring which gives you some mind back every turn. This combined with the blue spice augment means you can use pyromancy trick every turn and get the mind cost refunded!
Didn't expected to see Czech language in a Indei video. The three landmarks on the map, "Panenské Lesy" is Virgins Forests, "Ďáblův ostrov" is Devils Island and "Obětní Jezero" is Sacrificial Lake.
Fun fact unless I’m mistaken the irregular obelisk is a fun nod to the dev miro having a fear of buttoned up shirts(it’s possible it’s just the buttons itself it’s been a bit since I’ve used this knowledge)
It is also a fun nominative contrast to perhaps the most significant character/entity in this game: to Logic. Irrational obelisk -> Logic Monument. It’s a fun little detail
Nice little tip (spoiler free) that helped me. When fighting the pillar men look closely at their chiseled six pack one of them will have a little bubble pulsating. If you hit that off the start of the fight. It kills them instantly
I think it would be amazing if you did a few videos on this game. I know that's not really your style but it just suits you so well and there's so much to see and explore in Termina. I would love if you did a very specific thing - go to the Woodsman's house and defeat him. Softening him up with a gun works wonders (and make sure you kill the nut hugger) and get his key. Then go into the basement of his house and draw the Rher rune. I leave the rest to you Mr. Maus! Great work this Shocktober!
Really excited for the next big update (been waiting over a year now), wasn't sure i could stomach anymore after my first masochist mode completion with Abella - Abella, Marco, and Daan are very strong
Hey this game was a blast for me so im glad youre enjoying it :). Some tips (without spoiling anything important): - absolutely fully explore PRVHL Bop when you come across it. Besides the obvious undisclosed benefits from that place, its also one of those small areas that are immensely helpful for a multitude of convenience, information on where to go, and fun interactions between characters. Place is a vibe with more characters - try gaining access to the undeground sewer system which opens up to some (somewhat hidden?) areas you might want to see, but it also serves as an alternate route if you find yourself screwed on the surface and vice versa. - Vinuksha sigil gives you access to most hard to get areas Item tips: - A Book will tell you which god sigil to draw on which circle. (Allmer sigil is nice if you know where to draw) - its a bit tricky to explain guns since each gun works differently on each enemy but a general rule of thumb is: small guns for small targets, medium guns for human sized and large guns for the crazy bullshiet. Skill tips: - each colour of the spice forge ability gives unique properties to your spells so you can experiment on doors if you like - Marina has another skill (obtainable from start) thats useful once you know how it work - 3 times rev up gives you double hit which is huge Miscellaneous tips: - your money caps out at 99, once it caps you might want to spend them at a shopkeeper before searching more stuff. - if youre thinking of recruiting / saving most contestants, abella is one of the only few characters that can do so and its highly recommended to recruit them into your party before day 3. Theres alot that can be added to this list but would probably be alot more fun and rewarding to figure out yourself but hopefully this list helped out!!
I only played through this game once on Marina, but the best tip I can supply is Black Smog is a crazy powerful spell/ability, carrying me through most of the game. You can acquire a Spice Forge by killing Ossa (i think) and you can make it cast twice in a row and it's so busted. I also used spice forge to summon a blood golem at the beginning of every combat, and cast Pheromones on it so that everything attacks the golem instead of Marina. Black Orb is also crazy strong. ALSO there is a pretty big power spike once your character hits 16 agility because it makes it so you can act twice every turn.
I enjoyed this shocktober's year content! It was a pretty warm welcome after job. About the tips, i'm sorry i cannot help with that. Fear and hunger bothers me (in a good way) so much, that i kinda don't feel like playing it, at least, not in the moment. Will be waiting for part 2 though, as well for the future content. Can't wait to see more of it!
Abella is great, especially for Maso mode which is insane. (Early meatgrinder via guns and beartraps for Gull bros and death masks). Macro is also good as you can grab the leech ring from the malls top floor and then buy the hardened heart from the shop keeper. This is functionally immortally for *almost* every situation especially as Marco. Also yes, Needles is basically Art the clown. Glass him in the face.
Love the shocktober selection this year! Couldn't get Merch this time again but still love the simple white hoodie from a couple Shocktobers ago. Can't wait for the part 2, Indeimaus!
Every time I see Funger being played, I can't stop but thinking "Frapollo, where you at?" I don't even remember you played the first one, and I even had watched that. Well.. time to watch this one, rewatch the first video and then rewatch this one again.
Abella is actually one of the best choices in the game, given that she can make the best weapon in the game and possesses the hilariously powerful Wrench Toss. It's a good omen that you picked her, despite the lack of such in the actual game world.
tbh, I would disagree because then you can't recruit her instantly and still get short circuit and wrench toss automatically within the first couple of minutes of game. but at least you cans ave Henrick as well too, not that he matters.
The best advice I was ever given was play Marcoh, bare handed. Use the rev ups to boost his broken bare handed strength. Also rev up is: 1 rev up boosts attack, 2 rev ups boost further 3 attacks twice Link up with Abella early to get her pipe wrench ability. Power couple is unstoppable for most of the game even without busted gear.
I've been waiting for this one ever since the first Funger video came out. I tried playing it myself but couldn't handle the difficulty, so I'm glad to get to see a braver man than I run through it ^.^
Indeimaus! You’re one of my favorite RUclipsrs. Thank you for your amazing content and the laughs. I really appreciate you and the effort you put into your work. Happy Halloween and I hope you have had a fantastic year. Can’t wait for next year’s Spooktober.
If you start as anyone, and get Abella by going to the bunker, you can keep Tanaka alive for a side bit, if you enter the bunker, and leave immediately. Once you've entered the city and heard Needles cold laugh, it's ok to go back to the bunker.
I love Termina! The original is great, but they really improved the formula for the sequel. The lore carries over and expands, each character is completely different, there's so many skills and ways to play, and there's a bunch of different endings for each character. Ugh! So good!
tips aye, god of fear and hunger sigils are your friend on first playthroughs they let you save. saw off heads you use them latter on. and most importantly have fun
One tip I can easily give is that spice forge is absolutely busted, but you should read the wiki page on it if you want the mechanics because I don't think they're explained anywhere. The only other thing I'd say is if you're planning on going melee, it's easiest if you kill abella or are her for the Crafting but otherwise I think your natural exploratory nature will get the rest of the important stuff!
Explore chalk circle portals in different locations, especially if you see an interesting statue. Marina is busted and you can break the game with her blood golem and getting the enlightened soul and his spice forge ability to double magics and such. Praying to certain gods or sacrificing/ritualizing for them will open more skills to upgrade Save guns for either swarms of small things or bigger enemies to soften them up, like you did with Needles The character interactions are pretty specific and if you want to follow them you pretty much need a guide, still cool emergent storytelling without it though You can stop the mayor from appearing if you talk to Heinrich in the second story balcony of the manor in the morning of the first day and snap him out of his daze, then help him get food
just a tiny little tip, consumables are super great and powerful in this game, but they’re obviously consumables, so you get a limited and random amount. books are also extremely powerful and important! guess what, another powerful and useful thing… guns!! but of course the ammo is randomly found and pretty rare. there is a way to stop bobbys from getting up i hope to see you finish this game and get all the endings, love this game
My tip for you! If you're playing with Marco, always throw hands. And get them quick feets. And then throw more hands. Also Guard+ is amazing for some of those unavoidables.
The best advice i can provide, while not being an expert of course... Is that you take it slow, don't rush for places as it may lead you into a scary encounter you may not be ready for. Some enemies DO have hints during the fights that can provide the Upper hand, so keep an eye out for that. Knowledge if power of course, do remember that while some books may just be for lore and such, some can provide useful hints in how to tackle different scenarios (Like using the skin bibles to acquire the sigils !). - Talk is a very useful skill that can get you out of a doozy, don't be afraid to experiment with that. - Some Characters will move around places depending on the time of day, places you visit and such. - If you block during certain moves that the enemies might use, blocking skips the Coin flip so that can be very useful. As per usual this is just from personal experience but keep at it, learn, explore and enjoy every moment of Termina, you'll eventually get stronger. I believe in you Indie, also big thanks for making a video for one of my favorite games from recent Year, stay frosty my G and don't give up Skeleton. PS. Spice forge allows you to amplify the spells, use one at the start of the encounter and use it twice.
34:02 That is 500% Gary the Snail from Spongeob Squarepants where Spongebob goes into Gary's dream and he's a scholar. Don't question it, just incorporate it into your worldview
31:24 you joke about the Abs, but you were actually very very very close to figuring out something very helpful. Rewatch that part again and look at him very closely. You should notice something interesting. Also, Spice forge looks complicated, but it's not that difficult to understand. You have 3 different spices and each does something different to your spells. One makes you start the combat with a spell for free. For example, you enter the fight, and you cast Black smog right from the get-go. (You still pay the mind cost) Another makes your spells cheaper and just as effective, which is very good on high cost but effective spells. The last one amps up your spell to a great extent like instead of 1 black orb you cast double black orb but for an increased cost.
Just coming to say I will be watching this video in like 6 months when I finally get around to actually playing more than the intro to termina myself lol
First of all, good luck. Now for some tips. - As you might have noticed, Termina runs across 3 days, each day split into 3 sections (morning, afternoon, night), and time only moves when you sleep. - Specific events will be happening at specific time periods, and they WILL occur whether you are there to witness it or not. You can pretty obviously tell when something happens somewhere if you sleep and the tower man tells you people died and you have no idea why. So if you slept, feel free to just walk around everywhere you've already been. - You can drop off party members either at the train or a second location in the city. This includes the ghouls. They just need to be dropped off somewhere further in. This is important because characters will not join you if your party is full. So feel free to rock out with as a band of 3. - Fun fact, standing around inside either the two above mentioned areas will actually HEAL your mind instead of making you lose it, though the heal rate is pretty slow on any difficulty under Maso S/X mode. - You might already know this, but you can only use certain god sigils on certain types of circles, and each sigil will either do something for you or allow you to do something, on top of the obvious +1 god affinity. Try them out if you find a circle and dropped a save recently. - There's some weapon restrictions you might want to know in case you switch characters again. Marina, Olivia, and Karin cannot wield 2 handed weapons and O'saa can't use guns. - You max out at 99 silver, so if you're close to that limit, might as well buy some stuff else you risk wasting loot rolls on money you can't pick up. - If you can, try to get to 16+ agility. You might like what happens. - You may or may not know this from the first game, but the way defence works is that your equipment stacks multiplicatively. So if you have armor and and accessories that reduce the same damage type, multiply those %s together and that's your new damage reduction % (not that you could get this, but for example, a 50% pierce reduction from armor and pierce 50% from an accessory would give you a total 25% pierce reduction, aka you take 1/4 of the original damage for pierce attacks). - The Run in your skills menu and the Run! from hitting the escape key uses 2 seperate formulas. The skill menu one uses static %s based on how many times you've tried to run before (starts at like 70% run chance down to like 40% after you run a few times, and I think it resets once you kill something), the Run! formula takes the average agility of your whole party - the agility of the enemy party. This will typically end up giving you a 50% escape chance most of the time. So for your normal playthroughs, you will probably want to be using the run in the skill menu. - If you see a forest, watch your step. Honestly, you might want to drop a save before you explore it. - Be wary of the night of Day 3. You have been warned. And yeah, hope this helps man, good luck in beating Funger Terminal!
So much like F&H 1, you can become a monster with a little know-how. Here's a tip to break the game, in case you want a save where you can walk around more or less care-free. This is more of a mid-game combo. You need to do a bit of playing to get it. 1. Get Leechmonger Ring (guaranteed drop in the department store, found in the Shopping District) 2. Get Hardened heart (Can be bought at Dr. Kefer's Tricks and Magic. It is quite expensive at 99 shillings, so keep that in mind) 3. Get Counter Stance (Part of Marcoh's skill tree. Either play as him or get his soul) Semi-optional: 4. Get Salmonsnake rune. These can only be found from chests, and are entirely luck, but they are the best accessory in the game. Save a book of enlightenment for the chance that you find one of these, so you can insta-save. Congrats. Your character is effectively immortal. Also, Abella's weapon crafting should not be slept on. Sandman's Kiss and Meat Grinder are hilariously powerful. DoT effects are just as busted in this game as in F&H 1
TIPS: -Aiming for the torso is OP in this game. - A lot of the enemies have low torso Health like for example all the villagers except for pipe weilding villager has 300 hp torso health, as well as the crazed ones with the claw attacks that killed you a lot. - The Pillar Men enemies are EASY, One of their abs is their weakness, the AB is random BUT look closely at the abs when selecting one to attack, when you do so you will notice an ab is pulsating, dystroy that AB and they go down. - After beating a Bobby quickly interact with the body then select the "Beat" option to make sure they do not get back up. - Glass shards are GREAT, they work on the MOB enemies as well even though it does not show. Glass shards work on many enemies so do not shy from trying them out on any creature with a head. - Burning status is GREAT vs enemies with high health, use an ornament lantern or attack gas canister after setting it to burn an enemie's torso, doing so basically sets them on a death timer where you can just guard them out. The pyromancy spell can also do burning. This game is technically easier than the first but bigger arguably.
1. I think you already figured it out but the Rev Up works like this: 1 charge = small damage increase, 2 charges = good damage increase, 3 charges = two hits in a turn. I always save up for the extra hit. 2. That bunker where you met Needles and heard the saw sound was Needles killing Tanaka(the salaryman), it's best to explore it at the very start of the first day or wait until you kill Needles somewhere else in order to keep Tanaka from dying. There's other points he can die too, it's kind of an achievement to keep him alive through everything. Edit: I think this might be a bit confusing, but some events in the game happen if you're there to see them or not, but others only happen if you're there to seem them, like some "if a tree falls and no one is around to hear it did it make a sound" thing. Like that scene where you saw Marcoh get shot, if you avoid that location and continue the game, he'll be alive for later scenes. But then other characters will die offscreen if you aren't there to intervene. A ton of interesting events only happen if you go to a certain screen at a certain time of day on a certain day. It's a lot of trial and error, just like the first game. 3. Unlike in the first game Necromancy is pretty restrictive, there were skeletons and ghouls all over the place in that game but there's only six ghouls in this one, specifically the Bremen army soldier corpses in the village and the villagers with sickles. Why only the ones with sickles? No Idea. Side Note: The Bremen army is basically the Nazi party of this universe, that's why the mayor got pissed off when you said you support them. 4. The spice forge is pretty neat, but it's confusing the first time you look at it. White spice applied to a spell makes you automatically cast the spell at the start of combat, so it's really good for something like Blood Golem. Red means you doublecast spells, it'll cost more but you dish out more damage. Blue makes spells cost less mind to cast. 5. I love playing as Abella, she's super OP if you kill the mob with the angle grinder. It allows her to craft one for herself, and it's by far the strongest weapon in the game, nothing else comes close, it hits 3 times per turn, has a high crit chance, and very often applies bleed. Of course, the mob fight is pretty hard to get through before you're really kitted out. 6. You were playing as Marina and had books, but didn't seem to use her Engraving skill, she can put a single sigil of a god on someone for a permanent stat boost to that character. The boosts are: Gro-Goroth: +4 Attack Sylvian: +3 Magic Defense and receive only 70% Otherworldly Damage Alll-Mer: +3 Defense and receive only 85% Physical Damage Rher: +25 Max Mind Vinushka: +4 Magic Attack God of Fear and Hunger: +5 Agility Most people go for the god of fear and hunger since the same agility rules apply, 16 agility = always get extra turn.
If you ever enter a building with a bunch of screams coming from above, head up to them. The staircase is a bit hard to see, but you don't need to leave the main building to get there
hope you enjoyed shocktober 2024, last chance at merch - shocktober.store/ (see you in november for silent hill 2 and final destination tier list)
Thanks for the series of videos!

- Alll-mer sigils >>>>>
- Vinushka sigils can help you find some secrets
- if you do a fresh run, try exploring the mansion on day 1 morning before going to the tunnel west of the old town
- if you get caught by Vile (pig mask), try chatting with him
- there's another forest to the southwest
- if you shoot an enemy in the overworld and you go into battle with them, their health resets (that's why needles didn't have any damage even tho you blasted the hell out of him)
I'm sure there's tons more, but I haven't played in a few months, and I don't wanna risk spoiling. have fun!! this is one of my favorite games of all time

Never noticed how kinda similar Czech is with other Balkan languages, the only word I recognized was jezero cause I speak Bosnian
Woke up extremely depressed, thanks for the upload Indei! Real mood booster ❤

Hey Indei, just wanted to say thank you for all the work you put into Shocktober. I genuinely look forward to it and I appreciate the effort

- its a bit tricky to explain guns since each gun works differently on each enemy but a general rule of thumb is: small guns for small targets, medium guns for human sized and large guns for the crazy bullshiet.
Skill tips:
- each colour of the spice forge ability gives unique properties to your spells so you can experiment on doors if you like
- Marina has another skill (obtainable from start) thats useful once you know how it work
- 3 times rev up gives you double hit which is huge
Miscellaneous tips:
- your money caps out at 99, once it caps you might want to spend them at a shopkeeper before searching more stuff.
- if youre thinking of recruiting / saving most contestants, abella is one of the only few characters that can do so and its highly recommended to recruit them into your party before day 3.

What a great video, I'm so excited for part 2. Take your time with it though, I'm sure most people will be patient
Thanks for another great Shocktober. I look forward to it every year.
Awesome video, nothing like an Indiemaus video to pull me back into the .... .. world of fear and hunger
I am hype for part 2, I quickly fell in love with fear and hunger's true weirdnews as soon as I saw it and watching you go through it is great fun
Thank you for everything you do. You’re one of the best on RUclips.
Every time I see Funger being played, I can't stop but thinking "Frapollo, where you at?"

Yeah I also love Abella as a companion so I always end up playing someone else. Too bad because her abilities are indeed really good.
Surprisingly he already stumbled into one of the strongest builds in the whole game, Marina + Spice Forge
I watched every video this year, but it felt like October went by way too fast. Love Maus's Shocktober.
With the z at the end of the names it's a metal slug character, abellaz! Marcohz!

When Needles whips out the glock - you know he's the out of medicine, not options.
Pro tip: Don't die
Great month as always dude! Looking forward to november.
I love termina, even more than the first game. Can’t wait for the future update
Omg excellent choice for a grand finale! I'm so happy!
I've been waiting for this one ever since the first Funger video came out. I tried playing it myself but couldn't handle the difficulty, so I'm glad to get to see a braver man than I run through it ^.^
Probably my most anticipated video of the year tbh. Who would've thought that Silent Hill and Bloodborne could blend so well together ?
Was waiting for this since last year, and 2 parts ? Hell yeah
Awesome suite of videos this year. Much appreciated.
i don't know much about termina but all i wanna say is thanks maus for shocktober i will be sure too pick up some merch (:
Been waiting for this for literally a year
Enjoyed you playing the first one before mate and see you play the second one is jus a massive treat~

If you start as anyone, and get Abella by going to the bunker, you can keep Tanaka alive for a side bit, if you enter the bunker, and leave immediately. Once you've entered the city and heard Needles cold laugh, it's ok to go back to the bunker.
Been waiting for this one. Great video 🔥
there is a secret bolt cutter and guns on the first area near the hut of woodsman to the left in the bush weed. push action 3 times.
Cheating dev spot.
Hell yes! Perfect Halloween vid
Funger 2 tip: The shopping mall has a REALLY important trinket that is a must have for any non-spell character.
I love Termina! The original is great, but they really improved the formula for the sequel. The lore carries over and expands, each character is completely different, there's so many skills and ways to play, and there's a bunch of different endings for each character. Ugh! So good!
What a banger of a video, clicked faster than my brain could comprehend. Thank you indie.
thanks for the amazing month, Maus
Until next year!!!
the pillar men have a pulsing ab its the weakness just look closely.
every year i wait for your videos in oct. cant wait for silent hill 2. I know it is hard work but make it as long as possible. make it a movie
Another great vid from Indeimausz
tips aye, god of fear and hunger sigils are your friend on first playthroughs they let you save. saw off heads you use them latter on. and most importantly have fun
Sad it's the last of Shocktober. Happy to have watched them all.
I can die peacefully knowing Mause releases Fear&Hunger Termina. I've been waiting since the first game
Shocktober so good I became a patron to see this video early
Im sorry, did that homeless mans """"""" STINGER """"""" do a full Alien on you?! 11/10
Perfect! Was just watching the 1st vid again.
Thank you for a killer shocktober! A two part on Termina is a nice cherry on top. Cant wait for 2025!
Explore chalk circle portals in different locations, especially if you see an interesting statue.
Marina is busted and you can break the game with her blood golem and getting the enlightened soul and his spice forge ability to double magics and such.
Praying to certain gods or sacrificing/ritualizing for them will open more skills to upgrade
Save guns for either swarms of small things or bigger enemies to soften them up, like you did with Needles
The character interactions are pretty specific and if you want to follow them you pretty much need a guide, still cool emergent storytelling without it though
You can stop the mayor from appearing if you talk to Heinrich in the second story balcony of the manor in the morning of the first day and snap him out of his daze, then help him get food
just a tiny little tip, consumables are super great and powerful in this game, but they’re obviously consumables, so you get a limited and random amount.
books are also extremely powerful and important!
guess what, another powerful and useful thing… guns!! but of course the ammo is randomly found and pretty rare.
there is a way to stop bobbys from getting up
i hope to see you finish this game and get all the endings, love this game
I sure do love Indiemaus
I've been waiting for this for a year
34:02 That is 500% Gary the Snail from Spongeob Squarepants where Spongebob goes into Gary's dream and he's a scholar.
Don't question it, just incorporate it into your worldview
It's now November 1st. Time to binge all shocktober the way it use to be
Finally, been waiting for this
Great shocktober love it
Love this game so much
The soundtrack alone is worth playing for
I know you brought it up in your last couple of videos, But I would literally kill for a final destination Death tier list
“I won’t keep you waiting” (3 minutes later) “without further ado, here’s fear and hunger”
Please more of this!
YES YES YES I ASKED FOR THIS FROM THE FIRST SHOKTOBER EPISODE
Just coming to say I will be watching this video in like 6 months when I finally get around to actually playing more than the intro to termina myself lol
Heck yeah been waiting for this one
1. Get Leechmonger Ring (guaranteed drop in the department store, found in the Shopping District)
2. Get Hardened heart (Can be bought at Dr. Kefer's Tricks and Magic. It is quite expensive at 99 shillings, so keep that in mind)
3. Get Counter Stance (Part of Marcoh's skill tree. Either play as him or get his soul)
Semi-optional:
I just realized that the mechanic has the same looks as Terraria's Mechanic NPC. Nice reference.
Aww man. I don’t want shocktober to be over already.
TIPS:
-Aiming for the torso is OP in this game.
Do you know how long I've been waiting for this?
The boosts are:
Gro-Goroth: +4 Attack
Sylvian: +3 Magic Defense and receive only 70% Otherworldly Damage
Alll-Mer: +3 Defense and receive only 85% Physical Damage
Rher: +25 Max Mind
Vinushka: +4 Magic Attack
God of Fear and Hunger: +5 Agility
Most people go for the god of fear and hunger since the same agility rules apply, 16 agility = always get extra turn.
If you ever enter a building with a bunch of screams coming from above, head up to them. The staircase is a bit hard to see, but you don't need to leave the main building to get there
Could never understand how people enjoy such types of games. But hey, it's fun to watch someone struggle through it.
As someone who is very cultured in the art of Neromashin, Asanagi or Obui, and loves the works of Junji ito, this game might be something I like.
The wrench throw moaner vs. needles had me rolling
