I found that a lot of people don't know the real consequences of ducks eating bread. There's a lot of conditions that can result of it, such as Angel Wing where flight feathers grow in the wrong direction resulting in a loss of flight, as well as organ failure. As a bird watcher, I've seen many birds with overgrown beaks(I saw a cockatoo with a beak so overgrown they couldn't forage, most likely dooming that bird to struggle to find food), angel wing, and other symptoms of bread diets and it always makes me feel sick

The divide of the two sections, the legalization of high-grade salami in one part and illegalization of it in the other, and the fact that even the currency is shmarks (like the east german mark). The duck detective refers to the 'state police' (sazi) and public transport (busses) are very widley used. Edit: holy youtube I was right????? I thought I was just writing historical fanfiction oml 😭
It's less a theory and more just context clues. Whether this story is during the cold war or in a possible future where the wall never went down is what's more important.

Bread addiction is a serious problem. I’m glad this game addresses that. On a real note, don’t feed ducks bread. It doesn’t give them nutrients and make them feel full even though they need more nourishment.

I absolutely ADORE how the inspection mechanic shows that they have detailed art for things, so the very simple art style you see most of the game in is an extremely intentional choice! It's very cute and I just love the peek behind the curtain. Also maybe suggests the Ducktective is short sighted and needs the focus in to see these details?
Fun Fact: The VA for the Duck Detective is Sean Chiplock who also voices Revali, Teba and the Great Deku Tree in BOTW. Quite crazy to hear so many prominent voice actors in this short but loveable indie game that has a divorce plotline more compelling and engaging than Detective Pikachu!
THE VOICE ACTING. What an utterly absurd cast, those are some seriously heavy hitters they’ve got, and by god do they make this an absolute joy to play. Man I love video games! The fact that this meme-fest exists, and is just the best thing to ever exist, makes me smile uncontrollably.

the thing is, that technically speaking, in real world all 3 of them would be arrested too. the only one i could see any leeway for is Boris, because of the possible manipulation of his partner, but Sophie was neither manipulated nor blackmailed into helping with smuggling, so like, 100% guilty of helping with the crime. Manfred would get worse punishment for blackmailing Sophie later on to not rat him out and kidnapping, so that's fun.
Halfway through the video I realised, Laura Angst has a perpetual mental breakdown face that seems suspiciously similar to Pomni or XDDCC. Both characters are voice acted by the same Lizzie Freeman. Coincidence? I think not!

A short yet sweet detective game that oozes more personality and charm in the first 30 minutes than Detective Pikachu Returns had in its entirety.
One hundred percent, duck detective can intuit the mechanics of the Death Note and solve the Kira case.

Halfway through the video I realised, Laura Angst has a perpetual mental breakdown face that seems suspiciously similar to Pomni or XDDCC.
Both characters are voice acted by the same Lizzie Freeman. Coincidence? I think not!

I bought and finished this game two days ago and then immediately after rt started streaming it. Felt really sad that I couldn’t catch the stream!
