About a year ago I realized I too have TV's inatalled in every room as well as the garage. I think it's 8 or 9 smart TV's, 8 laptops, 7 unlimited data phones, three ipads and then a bunch of home automation locks, video doorbells and too many others too mention here. It all adds adds up and tells me we have so many modern conveniences that we can't live without. 🤣
So with a 6 zone amp centrally located How do I run say zone 1 has a tv with 5 speakers ? I would like this zone to be controlled from the wall plate as well as with an app. This plate would control audio throughout the whole house or just in that zone? This zone would have an audio aux as well for hooking up any source. Zone 2 would also have a tv with 2 speakers With a wall plate to control the whole house or just that location ? Zone 3 would just have 2 speakers with a wall plate to control that zone or the whole house? I have other zones but ill get the idea with what is above. Any help would be appreciated.
This system says you should use the T568a wiring color code for the keypads. My house was wired in the T568b color code. Will the keypads work with the T568b wiring color code if there is no crossover ?
Wow, I am having a new house built and Before sheetrock gets installed i ordered the monoprice audio set and prewired with 1000ft of in wall speaker wire for 70v in ceiling speakers in every room and I also installed 2000ft of cat6 throughout the house for touch pads and wall mounted hidden wire tv swivels in every room , also ran cat6 for 8 outdoor security camera system .. All the wires and cables go to a single tech closet where a rack will be mounted in the corner of the theater room wich is also wired for 7.2 surround sound.. What am i missing?
Sounds like you got everything! Don’t forget to do multiple Cat5 or 6 drops to each tv so you have one for data one for audio distribution and video distribution if needed!
Thanks for posting. One question: will the iTach (and the iOS app) be able to control the Monoprice amp if the keypads that come with the Monoprice aren't ever installed? Or do the Monorprice keypads need to be installed for this to work? Hoping to be use the Monoprice amp but unfortunately can't install the keypads because I don't have (and cant get) Cat 5e or Cat6 wiring running through my walls. Any help would be appreciated. Last question I’m running cat5 with a hdmi splitter for my TVs going to a multi switch for TV out puts at that switch can I plug directly into the amp for sound?
@@quicktechav is that what you would recommend or should I run rca cables to the TVs just for sound and use the cat5 for hdmi splitter for my signal. Also does mono price have a input out put for bass?

Is it possible to control monoprice amplifier's sound with a tv remote ? I have connected it through optical cable but the remote that came with needs to be pointed towards the switch which is hard as the switch is on the backside. Or I need to turn back to operate sound. I've had plans to get that monoprice kit for a while, but it's a little low on the to do list while I renovate. Is it still available? It's out of stock on monoprice and no real information otherwise.
Those aren't surround speakers outside those are just stereo speakers. Surround sound would be at least four speakers and the rears playing the actual surround channel. Does soundavo has 4 zone multiroom with streamer built in and app to control it?
You will have to add a streaming player and yes if you get the rs232 attachment there is app control from the monoprice app
Why don't you put the two keypads in a double wall plate?
That’s a good idea and those wall plates were all the customer supplied for us! We’re doing 2 more installs this month we’ll try that!
