Thank you so much! I had been aying with the pool settings for several weeks thinking that was the reason that the vacuum wasn't working. It turns out that the lung wasn't in right. The temp outside today was 110 degrees... Much appreciated!!!
Thank you, John! Your video was great! My pool guy had difficulty unscrewing and dismantling the unit to replace the diaphragm, but your video made it so easy to follow. Next time, I plan to use your video to replace the diaphragm myself. Thank you once again for your help.
Excellent instructions on replacing the diaphragm in theVingli pool suction vacuum cleaner. Now all I have to do is get a swimming pool. Thank you my friend.
Thanks John. Just moved into a house with a pool and our cleaner has just been parked on the bottom. I dismantled the cleaner and found our diaphragm was split exactly like yours. Thanks again for the clear and succinct instructions :)
Thank you very much, the diaphragm had a stone stuck, I was able to remove it thanks to your explanation, I had already bought the diaphragms but I didn't have to change it. Thanks.
Thanks a lot. priced this at local pool supply $40 plus Dollars come on looked around bought it for $15 looked on line $9dollars bought two, and again thanks

John, this was a good video. My three-month-old Vingli stopped dead. I found myself, even with a pipe wrench, to detach the threaded connection to the head. Very exasperating. It won't loosen a bit. Any suggestions?

Great video and explanation. Quick question - I still can’t get the pulsating it needs to move. I have the pressure all the way up. It is pulling hard. Note: if I put my finger in the diaphragm, I seem to create more pressure and it starts pulsating. Any ideas what might be causing the problem?
I would start with the diaphragm, make sure its on all the way and adjusted correctly. Check for any obstruction and rips. check for leaves or anything clogging the hoses. make sure the hose connections are not sucking air. after that check your strainer basket is clean, and finally your filter is clean. If they all check out and it's still not working you need to check your pump pressure. Sometimes its a combination of a few above things mentioned. Hope it helps.
Any advice would be helpful. Even with a new diaphragm my unit just keeps going the same location/cleaning route in the deep end. I have to pull it down to the shallow end; but it always works it’s way back the deep end.
Taking the nut off first should make it come loose without a problem. If its frozen from calcium buildup you may want to soak it in a 5 gal bucket full of boiling water.
@@JohnCRV Thank you John C! The nut came off easily using hot water. After replacing the diaphragm per the instructions on your RUclips tutorial, my Vingli Pool suction vacuum works like a champ!
Sorry to hear that. Sometimes they do get tight, not sure why. Try tapping the nut with a rubber mallet or a wood stick. It's like opening a jar cap. I hope it works.
Still working fine on my vacuum. You may want to return it and order the Vingli diaphragm it’s on another link in the description. During Covid they were not available so I tried the zodiac diaphragms and it’s still working. You may want to may sure you have it on all the way first…I don’t want to tell you what to do, it’s up to you.

Can you use a regular vacuum pump hose..small one..to connect
Sorry. Not sure what you're asking.

1. make sure you have enough hose.
2. you may have to adjust the pressure higher on the valve it came with.
Great video John👍 93 Gary
Many thanks
Do you have any suggestions to get the vingli apart to get to the diagram. It's almost like it's glued shut.

These diaphragms are notorious for going bad. Usually good for 1 season. So buy a few
Thanks for the feedback
I can not get my cleaner to move and the hoses won’t stay connected
no suction
Trouble is it doesn’t work… it doesn’t have the same ring design and doesn’t stay attached.
