THANK YOU! I have been battling to fit the diaphragm for years. One thing though... the BLUE 52 SPLASHER cleaner does not appear to use a "retainer ring" as a small outer cover that slides over the inner tube has five or six "tongues" that snap into place on the diaphragm ridge/groove end (where the retainer ring would normally be placed).
No problems, we love to help! We are not familiar with that cleaner in particular but there are similar applications that dont have the retaining ring!
Good on you. I first tried to simply put the diaphragm in without taking out the tube and that didn't work as you can't push the diaphragm into the proper position. Thank you.
So... I am looking at my one, a Zodiac Barracuda, and I can't work out how to get that diaphragm out, I've pushed that tube thing but nothing is moving at all for me. Do I just pull that thing out?
Hey Patricia, Thanks for the feedback! And sorry about that. We've recently started editing our videos a little differently so they don't include these closed captions - so keep an eye out for our new ones! Cheers and happy swimming, Natalie Mr Pool Man
Thank you for this, I learnt something new and you saved me a lot of time.
Glad it helped!
You’re a lifesaver! Thank you!

Hi, Yes , once dissembled the diaphragm is simply pulled out from underneath :)
I couldn't see any of the video due to the closed captions that came on because it was embedded in the video.
