@@rosannagonzales2097 that makes me so happy to hear! I thank you so much for watching, subscribing and for sharing your very kind comment. And I am so delighted that it is helping you take care of your pool yourself.
I came to learn how to replace the footpad, which happens after about 7 minutes. I soaked the pad in hot water, applied a little water soluble lube (don't ask) and used half of a plastic clothes peg rather than a steel screwdriver. It made sense to me to put the disc on the side opposite the flat part first, and that worked for me.
Thank you so much for being very explicit in your details on how 0:13 to remove the blue foot pad. Viewing other videos out there. They did not make sense on how to remove it, but yours was perfect, Spot on. Thank you so much, and I wish you the best.

Hi Kenny, Just wanted to say I really appreciated the 'tips & tricks' in your video. I have had a G2 for years and have sweated, strained & sworn over 2-3 previous foot / skirt replacemants. Now older and with arthritic hands, I was dreading this replacement. However, your tip of slipping the foot onto the body at almost the reverse of its final position & rotating it around was an absolute godsend. Soooo much easier to putting it in straight & leveraging the flaps into position !!! But it was still tricky at the end because the fixed body of the G2 prevented me getting a screw driver in there. Then you said 'it's kinda like a bicycle tyre' & so I tried a bicycle tyre lever. Worked perfectly !!! And your tip to start fitting the skirt using the flat part of the foot was also much easier. So thanks again for an excellent video and a stack of useful info. Mike B, Sydney AUS

There are a few I've seen online. The ones I get I purchase from my pool supplier in my area so I'm not sure about the ones online. Perhaps try to match the one I show in this video with the ones you find online and try to match the look of it.
Actually it's not hard to find. Just do a google search or click on this link ((As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases) amzn.to/48cA62F
The rear section of my G3 doesn't lay flat to the bottom of the pool. I recently replaced the cassette chamber assembly and has good suction. The diaphram seems to work fine. What do you think it's the problem?
You're G3 should've come with one or two "weights" that fit on the vacuum. Usually one or both should be put on 1 1/2 vac hose sections above the vacuum (where the hose connects to the vacuum) you may have to "play" with the location of the weights and how many (one or both) but that should take care of your issue.
I have that exact vacuum and it is no longer suctioning to the bottom and moving around. Would that be a suction disk problem? Mine looks pretty worn so I bought a replacement anyways. Thanks for the help! Your videos have helped me a bunch.
@@coltk2457 absolutely it can be the yellow footpad when that becomes flattened out it works more like a suction cup and sticks to the bottom of the pool so replace the footpad and probably the disc as well because they tend to wear out at the same time and you should be in good shape
