I have been a Rush fan for over 40 years ... and having seen them 7 times and listened to them forever, and being able to pick out imperfections in those who cover Rush songs ... I honestly have to say I heard no mistakes. That was perfect execution. And that's probably the highest compliment you can give to those drummers who love Rush. Simply awesome.
No lie, that was amazing.
One of the most underrated Rush songs and you performed it majestically.
You Tube waited 11 years to reccomend. Great rendition! One of my favorite Rush songs.
This is just a plain and simple good cover. You have Neil's style down. Great job.
Very Very Excellent! That is one of my all time favorite songs! Thank You Sir!
Beautiful!
I know very well this song, especially on drums and it’s really awesome. Good job, Neil’s heritage will live through you and others who was inspired by him.
Was with you on every fill.
Such a great song.
Great cover, Tim.
🤘
Fantastic!
This is as Impeccable as it can possible be...CONGRATS!!
outstanding!
unreal!!!!! Neil would be pleased!!!!
You are fantastic man. Really solid. Its been 3 years since Neil left. This song, he wrote the lyrics as most if not all. But this is his best work as a lyricist.
Fantastic job 👍🏻
I wish Phil Collins could see you son! You remond me of him in how well you play and read the music at the same time!
Amazing!
Wonderful young man!
Brutal Excellent ...😀
Wonderfull music.
One of the most wonderfull final song on drums.
Congrats man!

Muito bom sensacional
Felicitaciones desde Perú .
Fantastic job. Always thought was a beautiful song. You even nailed the patterns on the ride cymbal and floor Tom. That is a off beat tricky pattern. Neil is brilliant. RIp
Well done A+

very successful and finely tuned
Con un kit basico de bateria tocaste muy bien demostrando que con la calidad y talento se nace
Excelente forma de tocar y más porque lees tu partitura , mi admiración y respeto saludos desde Nuevo León México 🇲🇽
Daaaaaaamn... that is awesome!! I really like the camera angles and watching just how many changes in beats and rolls etc.. It makes me appreciate the mastery of percussions and the sheer difficulty of this song.. can you do "The Pass" also? It's in my top five favorite Rush songs of all time!
Thanks for the feedback guys!
Good job!
Nice job!
Fantastic! You play really good, like a Pro reading the partitures ;)
from 3:27 to 3:30 best part, only good ones can do exactly as Neil.. and you did
perfect!!!
Congrats bro
Yeahhhhh
Im not sure if its me... (and please dont take me for being a dick) but the drums we hear on this end- seem to sound "too much" like Neil's drum sound. Is the mix of your drums just too quiet? Or do you "really" have your drums sounding exactly like Neil's?
This guys drum audio is almost non existent in the mix. You can clearly see he's incorrect with several of the snare fills and you'd hear the errors if the drums were mixed louder. He's still playing it very well though.
Excellent execution, I wish you would play more rush covers, like jacob's ladder and more...
Cool T shirt! Nice one.
Keep goin👍

That was impressive. It’s been said that Neil recorded that song on one take straight through. Idk if you edited this video from several takes but either way you played it immaculately.
He recorded all the parts to Roll the Bones in one day. Practice to practice to record. 🤘
muito bom cara.
Badass.
Thanks Mitestrixter!
Nice cover. I couldn't tell if it was the song or ur playing. Nicely done.
Great
i like the way you played it almost excatly like the recording. but is a trigger going with the snare drum. sounds electronic. but you play it awesome. rj
Very nice, you play with lots of ear despite the sheet music...Wish I had learnt to read
as a sound engineer, wanna-be rock-star and 'has-been' drummer, I'd like to be a bit critical ? -First of all, your drum hits look spot on.
Kudos on that! But listening to this, the mix sounds 'too much" like Neils drums from the recorded mix. (really) I wasn't going to say anything until we got to the fade out / outro.
Same -- I wondered what his drum hits actually sounded like. Hearing turned up drums is precisely why I watch drum covers of songs, so to hear nothing but the recorded mix kinda defeats the purpose.
great video, but i dont buy it. that sounds way to close to the master track of the song. on the other hand, you played it perfectly to the song. way better than i can play it lol
This is totally Neil's playing. Total B.S.
The drum track is the original one, this is an incredible fake, even your moves are right, I do not understand why you had left the original...so sad.
Can't hear your drums at all bro
