I really loved how they brought back the "Spence always got some place better to be" and showed it's true meaning. Man. I haven’t cried in years. When he said that Shawn told everyone to leave Spencer alone. I just broke down after that. Shawn thought ahead to protect those close to him, even if he had to draw them away.

After watching that scene, fast forward ⏩ to this current episode scene and think 🤔, if im not mistaken, Shawn was killed either at the age 17 or 18 bc he went to South Crenshaw high with Coop and Spence and with a adorable daughter who he loved so much. So sad, all he asked for , was to stay alive smh . Just connecting the dots. So yes, whoever had this experience of living in the hood knows what this feels like and a horrible feeling to have
