On June 13, 2008, I had major surgery. And, I remember being wheeled back into my room, where the TV was already on for some reason, and they were talking about Tim Russert's life and sudden death. I was stunned, as I am sure his wife, son, and all of America were. But, beyond being stunned, I was truly saddened because Tim Russert always appeared to me to be the real deal, a man of deep faith. Anyone who religiously rooted for the Bills had to be, right?
