but but but but ... WHAT IF it's STILL Agatha's trial, and everything we've seen about "Teen" is a thing that Agatha and only Agatha sees? The show, after all IS called "Agatha ALL ALONG". In this sense, this big reveal could just be the manifestation of one of her greatest fears? ... but, it's really just a hallucination, and then we go back to "Teen" just being "Teen" after this trial is actually factually over, bc, as is, the whole coven (except Rio) is zip, and how's that going to work if even Agatha is gone? Until the next episode, I'm gonna wanna think that no one else has died, and Teen hasn't been dox'd yet, even though he could, perhaps still be Billy/Wiccan?
I hope they do a version of Children's Crusade as a disney+ show, and later incorporate the members into the Avengers during the next saga. This will create a sense of continuity in the MCU, and a perfect opportunity for a redemtion arc for Wanda. If Scarlet Witch actually is the one that will restore the multiverse after Secret Wars I'm thinking this would probably kill her, but her legacy will go on through Wiccan & Speed as fully fledged Avengers.
All of the previous trials started when one of them touched the trigger, this last trial started on it's own. I think the whole last trial was a phantom.
Elizabeth said on a recent talk show that she’s very much interested in coming back to the MCU, she just wants Wanda’s resurrection to make sense and do her justice.
very, very likely she played us and she may return in final episode as that "smart" resurrection, she talked about it as it already happend and as if she already filmed it, they are smart to fool us she probably got paid not to say anything and to make us thinking she isnt coming back right now
I don’t think she is even dead, Vision has some stuff up and coming, a show I believe and I hope they bring the X-Men Quicksilver back, for real this time.
I think Young Avengers should be a series. As a movie, half the cast could age out before any sequel ever happened. As a series, each character would only be a year older with each season, which is perfect.😊
I agree. Plus, as a series, we could have the good old episodic structure with one episode, one mission, and an overarching plot. Would give more time to develop the characters and their relationship. Should be a 13-15 episodes series
Yes, it should be release after the Vision Quest show where hopefully Tommy is going to be introduced. Then a young avengers series to developed chemistry and excitement, and finished the arc with a Children's Crusade movie where vision and the kids work to save/reincarnate Wanda from Mephisto or whomever we can use to swap Dr. Doom with.
Avengers academy was one of the trademarks they registered when they grabbed kang dynasty and secret wars. Still hoping it’s for a young avengers show.
My theory: Agatha actually can’t control her power, and so badly can’t that when her child got mad at her one day and shot some power at her, she ended up sucking her sons power and killing him. This is why she went to the road the first time, to seek a way to control her power and possibly to also bring back her son, but on the road, she got the darkhold. Flash forward to Wandavision, this is why she kept asking how she did it (brought vision back and created her children). Flash to this series and we can bet that agatha was supposed to be dead, but never could be taken by death (Rio) because she would take her powers. This would explain their relationship.
Agatha wants "to control her power" AND "bring back her son", but the road said no, you can only have 1 wish. She then ask for "Power to control her power and bring back her son" thus she got the darkhold
I agree. I wonder, given that outside of Billy (whose conception was magically induced) we have only seen female witches so far, I think Agatha may have thought a son would not have magic and thus be safe from her. It also wouldn't be surprising if there was magic involved with the conception of Nicholas. I think they are going to use the story of Nicholas to explain the presence of Billy, and how Agatha would be able to put together who he is because of her own background. (The magic used in Nicholas's conception... potentially not entirely "light" magic, may have been what her original coven came after her for)
Billy had blue magic in the Wandavision finale, his hands had this soft blue glow to them when he used his powers and there was a blue glow also on the minds of the soldiers he controlled, as well as on the bullet he stopped, people seem to have forgotten this or something as I have seen several comments talking how Teens powers being blue is somhow contradictory with him being billy when it is not.
I didn't watch Wandavision, in the comic Wiccan's magic is blue. I am confused because he doesn't have mind control, but I guess he did in Wandavision. Nicholas Scratch has mind control, all his magic is messing with reality, controlling time, space, etc. and Billy maybe with Death's help summoned him. Death could have heard Billy and brought Nicholas through. Billy is still just a little gayby, he went to Agatha to take witches' road for his own power knowing she would want to regain hers.
@@Gee-xb7rt I don't know much about comics, but in Wandavision Billy had telepathy as he could hear people´s thoughts and he did control or at least froze some soldiers in place during a scene in Wandavision and blue glow could be seen on the sides of these soldiers heads. while this was happening. They could be changing the powersets as this is not the first time they have done this
Nope, when she said you're just like your mother she had already figured it out. Agatha had been running on the assumption that Billy was her son and she put the sigil on her. This is why Rio blatently says, he is not your son. But she continues to believe. When Billy says Nicholas Scratch, everything changes. because he shouldn't be able to say his name with the sigil IF he was Nicholas Scratch . This is when Agatha realises teen really isn't her son, because he shouldn't be able to say his name. When she says you are just like your mother, she is talking about Wanda
I think that's an interesting point that I didn't consider. If teen was Nicholas he wouldn't be able to say his name cuz of the sigil and like Agatha said you don't need to know someone's name to know who they are so it's like ruling out the options. I think he saying Nicholas Scratch condemned himself cuz Agatha realised who he's not but then he had to say the name to end the trial. So idk if he knew what he was doing or if he panicked cuz Annie was dead
For real, I gotta watch it now! People were saying it sucked but Agatha was my favorite part of WandaVision besides the not X-Men Quicksilver who I hope comes back as Quicksilver.
Which again makes me wonder why the witches road was blue when they first entered. The first trial was for Jennifer & her color is pink. And after the first trial, the road has changed its color (rock veins, leaves, etc) to that of the witch whose trial will be next. So why was the road blue when they first entered the road?
Agatha: You're gonna to need me. Wanda: If I do, I know where to find you. I think this show is how Wanda’s calling Agatha to her, now that she does indeed know where she is.
Maybe Billy can hear his mother like he heard Vision in Halloween ep and how Wanda could hear them calling for her. His mission could be Wanda wants him release Agatha an her back full power with a coven for her come into and make safe space for her return.
@@israkhk it's a pretty popular theory. During Sharon's death Agatha seems to believe that Wiccan is the one who killed her (Wiccan wants to be a part of the coven). Agatha even winks at him when he acts innocent about all of it. Then he/she are both surprised that Sharon needs to be replaced by a Green Witch. He's not a Green witch (more of a blaster/soul witch) so he cozies up to Alice, sets the stage for Agatha to suck out Alice's power and takes his place in the Coven as their Fire/Blaster witch. Agatha seems surprised, then she smiles and like recognizes like. She understands that it was Billy all along. So desperate for a coven that he's willing to make room for himself. Watch her face right before she smiles. She's co fused because she knows he's doing it, and then it clicks to her that maybe he doesn't know that he's doing it. I believe this will be the real reveal a few episodes from now. Billy is the "Tyler Durdan"
My theory is that they're using this trilogy to introduce Billy and Tommy for Young Avengers. I'd expect to see Tommy being introduced as Speed in VisionQuest.
It's incredible to me that with all this theorizing about how Billy came back, nobody is even mentioning the car crash in Eastview that Agatha spoke about in ep 1, or the near death in Westview that appears behind Joe Locke's name in the credits. It seems clear that Teen/Billy Kaplan nearly died or DID die in a car accident, and Billy Maximoff's soul took over his body.
I'm sure we'll see her again but it would likely be a long while. Whenever they need someone magical that can be more devious than Wong or Strange they'll use her
@@flashbrad011 Imagine Agatha as a babysitter - "OK kids, we're going to take a trip today to get a really fun little piece of jewelry I need for a special thing. Yes, you can bring your teddy ear, or, whatever. Just don't tell anyone your name. DON'T SAY YOUR NAME OUT LOUD, DO YOU HEAR ME?!?"
Honestly the BEST episode yet. Agatha and rio are my spirit animals and although pretty much everyone knew ‘teen’ was Billy, the reveal was awesome and I love how they made him seem like the weakest link when we underestimated him the whole time (at least I did)
I think that the car wreck spoken about in the 1st episode was actually 3 years ago. Billy Kaplan was driving with at least one of his parents, got in a car wreck due to the hex from WandaVision. When the hex came down and dissolved Billy and Tommy their soul/spirit went into the closest body they could. That's how i think they can explain the Billy Kaplan/Maximoff plot line. Just shower thoughts lol
At the end of Episode 5 I got the vibe that Billy knew all along, Agatha implying she knew too was enough for him to drop the act; similar to how Wanda tried to play innocent in Multiverse of Madness until Strange figured out that Wanda knew too much. We'll have to wait ad see how he acts in episode 6 to confirm whether he's in control and if it's the power acting on it's own
I don't think Agatha was the one who spoke the words "are you suuuuuuure?-----you're just like your mother" and I don't think "Billy" threw Agatha, Jen or Lilia into the swamp. But I believe Agatha suspected all along that Teen was Billy, but I don't think the sigil was in place to protect teen from Agatha. In fact, I think Agatha gave Billy the sigil spell, or put it on him herself, to protect him from someone else.
Elizabeth Olsen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel about a week prior to this show started. Interesting interview where she and Jimmy spent most of the time talking Marvel. She referred to herself as the Scarlet Witch. Should take a look at that :)
The problem with that theory about Billy's magic being blue because of Agatha, is that Billy's magic was already blue in WandaVision and that was before Wanda absorbed Agatha's magic.
It is a no brainer that Rio is Death . There are so many clues when you consider costumes, the Marvel-issue Tarot cards, how she and Agatha refer to Nicholas Scratch, how she describes herself as “THE Green Witch” as a reference to death being returning to soil/nature, and so much more. I’m curious about the line “You can’t kill me, it’s not allowed.”
“The witches road exists outside of time and space”… How many places exist outside of time and space!? It feels like that’s 80% of the MCU at this point.
A Young Avengers series would be adorable! They're all getting accustomed to their powers while having a few cameos of the older Avengers to help them understand their abilities.
I dont think Sharon died, I think she actully passed the trial first because she was so good. I think Alice passed next because she was protecting Agatha out perceived friendship. I think we will see them reborn at the end of the road and perhaps Wanda didnt die, but ended up on the witches road and changed it to only empower selfless good witches... Remember Agatha can be good, and I think she will prove it by sacrificing herself on the road to be reborn a new witch with Wanda as the new "mother" overlooking all magic throughout the multiverse, just as Loki overlooks all "stories"
I think that we will either get a Wanda appearance in the finale or the post credits scene will set up the Vision Quest series by showing us White Vision or Tommy
OMG. Sweeny Todd?! Do y'all realize that Joe Locke (Teen/Billy) played Tobias Ragg in the latest revival of Sweeny Todd on Broadway from Jan 2024-May 2024.
If Young Avengers becomes a TV show, I want a real season with like 16-20 episodes. This 6-8 episode series are way too short and dont allow for character, plot and story development
7:32 Grey? I thought dogs have a yellow-blue dichromatic vision, which means they should be able to see blue, right? And yeah, I'm willing to bet that Billy put the sigil on himself. This show loves to setup for future plotlines in earlier episodes. They literally had Agatha explain that sigil will also affect the caster themselves. No way that won't come into play sometime down the road.
I think if you remove most of MoM from the explanation of why Billy at least is alive, the theoretical chain of events makes more sense Wanda in the post credits scene of WV, while reading from the Darkhold, hears her kids calling for help. At this point she knows they’re alive in this universe And when it looked like she slammed the book shut, I took that to mean she went immediately to them, realized they were hurt/trapped, and freed their souls, yet somehow she herself was trapped I think she sent Billy to get Agatha to free her from wherever she currently is, bc as she said to Agatha before she hexxed her “if I need you, I’ll know where to find you”
theory: It was Billy & Rio all along to punish Agatha. prelogue; Billy put a sigil on himself not to remember and be angry Agatha for abducting him (in WV ep 8) and trying to kill her mother (in WV ep 9) episode 1, Rio came to home to distract Agatha in the living room. teen broke into the house and tried to steal something. (they seems to be working together.) When he is caught by Agatha, he understood that Agatha is delulu, he used a spell to make her return to the real world. (so he was already powerful.) ep 2, when witches finished singing the ballad, nothing happened, actually. But, because of Rio, Salem' Seven came to the house and created an urgency. Using this urgent situation, Billy ran down to the basement and opened a magical blue-lighted door immediately. So he indeed manipulated all those witches to go down there with him. He was already running down from the ladders; other witches didn't think for a sec and followed him. ep 3, Rio came there to collect Sharon's body. ep 5, we saw Salem' Seven came down there, as well. (But we saw that earlier, there was no door no longer; it was a blocked rock, when all the witches went down to the underground. How did they come down there?*) In reality, there was no witches' road; witches' road was just a myth among witches. While Billy was researching about witchcraft for 2-3 years deeply. He learnt almost everything about magic, spells, and lore. (he also learned there were a lot of connected underground places in Westview [Ep 2, Sharon talked about that].) Thus, with his genetic powers, he created a hex-alike area in the underground of Westview. Also, every time he's finding all the clues, first. (very very sus) *For the door problem: Ep 2, When Agatha came down the stairs, she looked at her back to door but Hex showed her that there was only a blocked rock behind her instead of a door. However, there was actually an opened door there in real world. Thus, firstly Rio came down there and followed the coven. Then, Salem' Seven found the basement and entered the hex area to find Agatha. Lastly, ep 4, Rio told Agatha that teen wasn't her child. ep 5, Agatha stole teen's notebook and read everything he noted. understood that he was the child of Wanda. At the end of the ep, When Agatha felt powerful told teen "you look like your mother" immediately sigil is broken because Agatha learned (sigil is no needed anymore) so teen remembered that he's billy and he loathes Agatha. he knew Agatha stole his power if he'd blast her. So, he used other witches like a puppet to throw Agatha down and he uncontrollably exploded to others. For next ep, we may see witches crawl up to ground back to Westview gardens. That mud around the road might be the shortcut to go outside this underground hex of billy. Because billy doesn't need a hex anymore, his identity is uncovered.
"But we saw that earlier, there was no door no longer; it was a blocked rock, when all the witches went down to the underground. How did they come down there?*" to answer this, Lilia already answer it. They left the summoning door opened.
I didn’t think any marvel projects could ever beat Loki or Wandavision… Agatha is doing that. Kathryn Hahn is AMAZING. I would watch ANYTHING she was in but I’m also completely in love with this show and storyline.
I'm looking for someone else to have noticed that we have actually gotten 2 full out of sequence sentences from Lilia. When she says "I love you guys" in the middle of ep3 it was out of place but it goes with her saying "you know, when we first started out i couldn't stand yall but now...." and then Jen goes "but now what? Lilia where do you go?" I can't be the only one.
Have we blatantly talked yet about the fact that the Road is walking the path of Wandavision? The first trial had a 60s motif, the second one a 70s, the third one an 80s... obviously we're heading for the 90s next episode. And the reveal of Wiccan is timed to match when we got Pietro in Wandavision... I kinda feel like all of the story beats are repeating here, and in a wonderfully delicious way.
The first trial wasn't 60's, it was a 2010's, maybe even 2020's. They were all dressed very modern, aesthetic was straight from Big Little Lies, super modern appliances. They even had a sous-vide for the kitchen
@@adamhouse5475 Perhaps, but it was also very old-timey country club vibe. 2010s technology in 1960s style, if you will, with everyone looking very preppy and proper.
The first trial had a sous-vide, and a touch screen digital clock like a Nest. How in the world would you think this was 1960’s? It was clearly based on Pretty Little Liars and Desperate Houswives. They even clearly made a nod by saying “Happy little liars”.
Thank you guys for your hard work, passion, and time you all invest in Screen Crush. Your videos help me get through the boring parts of my day! I also agree with the perception of the Young Avengers being a show like WV, AAA, and all the others. We could see Kamala, Wiccan, and team grow together as an effective group. The pinnacle could then be a movie after we have had a few seasons with them. Keep up the good work and sending you love from Alaska!!
GO DISNEY GO!!! Marvel is letting the MCU do AWESOMENESS on DISNEY+. Agatha All Along is an instant classic! I can't wait for Avengers Secret Wars and Avengers Doomsday with Robert Downey Jr., and you know Spider-Man will be in it! Captain America Brave New World needs to be awesome, and I am confident it will be!!
Well I don't have much expectations from captain America brave new world bezc how will I watch it without Steve Roger...😢😢but I am excited for upcoming movies too but marvel movies take decades to come out 😩🤧and I see u as a crazy marvel fan as I am...
Hear me out billy caplan knew evreything the whole time the best way to get agatha back from what she did do to his mom is to tell death where she is to make her bring him to the road without a coven faking everything he put the sigil on himself and well have an opening where it sings billy all along
All these clues & easter eggs, but no one mentioned the original color of the witches road was blue. All of the witches have a color & we see the road turn into the color of the witch whose trial is up next. But when they all first entered the road, the veins in the rocks & the leaves were blue, even though the first trial was Jennifer's & her color is pink. But Billy's color is blue. So why did the road start out as blue? Does it mean that Billy was the one that actually opened the door to the road? Or maybe even Billy's magic created the reality they are all now in which is manifested as "the road" kind of like Wanda's hex on the town.
Jennifer's color is not pink, thats just her clothes. Re-watch episode 3. She's a potion witch, water is her element, hence the blue road. Then it was a red road for fire trial for Alice.
16:40 I think it's a very real possibility that Billy did in fact place it on himself. Perhaps he's had a plan the whole time. And he came off as Agatha's #1 fan. So he would definitely know Agatha had a son. And I think Billy knows more than he's letting on about that situation. So Billy puts the sigil on himself in order to manipulate Agatha into believing he could be Nicolas. All to get Agatha to help him get to the Witch's road. All so he can get the "Thing you're missing", his brother Tommy. I think by whatever means it happened, only Billy was made real. And the reason it was Billy and not Tommy is because Billy actually has the power to bring Tommy to life.
It's definitely 616. AT the end of Wanda/Vision, Scarlet Witch clearly told Agatha that she will know where to find her if she needs her. Teen shows up to release her from the spell Wanda put her under. At the end of Multiverse The Scarlet Witch, realizes that she can use Agatha to help bring her back by tricking her onto the witches road by placing a sigil onto a resurrected Wiccan (soul resurrected into recent death in Eastview). Agatha was thinking its Nicholas Scratch and goes along with Teen, but what will Teen want at the end of the trials......his mom!
One thing that isn't talked about enough is that it seems that Agatha only went after Wanda for what she thought was an ability to create life. Now we know that it was likely to try to resurrect her son.
So considering that since they are saying that wandavision is the “start of a trilogy”; Agatha being the second part. I had this thought that we won’t meet the new Tommy until Vision Quest closing out that trilogy!
I don't think this is like the Twilight ending and that this is a vision that Lilia saw that hasn't come true yet. INSTEAD, I think this is the vision that she saw earlier in the series coming true. That's why she said "I didn't like this the first time." when everything was going crazy. She also tried to give a warning but it came out backwards and during different trials. First she said "try to save Agatha" and then she said "Alice don't" So I think the full line was supposed to be, "Alice don't try to save Agatha." We also saw her screaming all the way back in episode 2. I think THAT was the first time she experience THIS MOMENT. Meaning this is already the vision coming true. I have no idea what direction the series is going though. I'm just along for the ride. There's also the footage from the trailers of Jennifer and Lilia coming out from the ground into the real world. This COULD be what we see in the next episode. It could be that once you go off the Witches Road, it kicks you all the way off, like back into the real world off.
I’m purely speculating w/ no evidence or spoilers, but what if Vision Quest is the “Young Avengers” show that brings back Wanda? They can use Vision as the older mentor role to the Young Team. It connects a familiar fan favorite face in Vision. It connects Wanda Vision, Multiverse of Madness, [presumably] Agatha All Along & Vision Quest and by not marketing the name as a young person show it will get all ages to watch, which is what you want for Wanda’s return.
What if Billy’s soul took the body of a dying teen, hence why they keep showing “near death experience” in credits. Which then makes you wonder if Rio is helping Billy
Quote from Wandavision ending. Agatha “you have no idea what you e unleashed, you’re gonna need me.” Wanda:”if I do I’ll know where to find you.” Do you guys think that that line actually sets something up for this show? Or if it will actually be addressed?
I think it's going to be far simpler to explain Billy in the show than what is in the comics. It first starts what is already established in WandaVision. While Wanda manipulated reality around the residents, she only created 3 beings throughout the entire series. In episode 3 she created a stork and her infant sons. She tried to poof away the stork to keep Monica from seeing it, it refused. Wanda tried to quiet her babies in episode 4, they refused. She had to plead with them to not age up. Wanda can't control the beings she spontaneously creates. When the Hex drops, the beings created of Chaos magic, aren't going to comply with Wanda's magic. Their corporeal bodies may be destroyed but not the souls she created out of whole cloth. Those souls are going to wander about and look for new vessels to live in. So, basically the soul of Billy Maximoff is going to find the most advantageous vessel in the vicinity. That being the body of Billy Kaplan, who most likely dies in a nearby car crash. I don't think Marvel is going to do two souls' scenario and treat Billy Maximoff as a dark passenger in Billy Kaplan's body. I think he will be Billy Maximoff spiritually in the biological body of Billy Kaplan. He will be both. The only question I have is Marvel going to identify him as a Kaplan or not. At this point, we know he has biological parents he's been living with for the past 3 years. He is spiritually connected to Wanda who he knew for about a week in WandaVision. Who will he identify more with, Billy Kaplan's biological parents or his spiritual mother, Wanda?
Someone on tiktok also noticed in Ep. 2 when Agatha is standing over Sharon's body and said I didn't think you had it in you. Then, cuts to Teen asking who? Agatha winks at him. This means she knows Teen killed Sharon also to possibly replace her, but instead, they called on Rio. So this was his second killing on the road to get in the coven
Except in the last episode of Wanda Vision Billy uses his magic to stop a bullet and also mind control those agents so Tommy could steal all their hats and Billy's magic was blue then. And that was Wanda use of chaos magic to create the kids and before she gained Agatha's magic.
This one video on from you guys made me go and pay Disney again just to watch this show you’re so entertaining and marvel and dc and everyone else you cover should really pay you man love this channel I literally watch your videos on stuff I don’t know or care about and you seriously make me reconsider 😂❤ good job guys
If it’s true that Billy and Rio sacrifice Agatha for Wanda, the spell is actually gonna bring back Tommy, and we’re gonna find out that Wanda is actually alive in the void. Then the vision show could be about assembling the young avengers to bring back wanda
I have a funny feeling that we are effectively going to see confirmation that Rio is 100% the personification of Death. I think that she’s gonna do something to bring Alice back. When Agatha tried using the magic she stole, it just disappeared almost as if either the road, or something else was preventing her from using the magic. As far as Billy is concerned, I feel like the sigil was definitely placed by Wanda in order to keep it a secret that she is not dead, and that she would throw off any idea that Agatha had before.
(Theory/spoiler?).. i really think the theory of rio being "death/lady death" was damn near subtly confirmed kinda lol.. the ouji board saying "death" when asked "who is with us?' Then all the witches look frightened EXCEPT rio?? Who literally throws her head back cackling like a psycho after the ouji board calls her out..
Just popping in to say thanks for the spoilery thumbnail and title, some of us haven't watched the episode yet (though I knew it was rumored, not a total spoiler for me but I haven't seen the episode yet)
9:39 I just realised I grew up loving magic women 😂. I watched Bewitched and I dream of Genie as a kid, Sabrina the teenage witch in the late 90s, Charmed early 00s. Loved all the movies like The Craft, Teen Witch lol, and Buffy (movie and series). Idky but I love the magic ladies 😂😂😂
What if the twist is that America Chavez felt sympathetic to Wanda because her mom’s got lost and America probably wishes her moms were out there searching for her too like Wanda. So she finds Billy from another Universe and tries to help him reunite with his mom
I don't think Rio wants Agatha dead because she wishes her ill. I think she wants to be with Agatha and if she's Death that's the only way for them to be together.
What if the Young Avengers are formed because all the main heroes suddenly disappear and Noone knows that they are on Battleworld fighting in the Secret Wars??
Speaking of teenage characters who could have been Tommy all along (19:30), there's an obvious candidate of Bruno Carrelli from Ms. Marvel. He's basically an orphan, he's tied to Young Avengers, he knows what mutants are. A perfect one.
Another hint that Rio is Death is in episode 4 when Agatha is taking with her in the sound booth and turns on the mic for the other witches to hear, Rio says "... and I get my bodies." in fact, the whole conversation is peppered with death terminology like 'ferrying'. And Rio also says she wants to "cause some damage" but Agatha says "you're too early".
I still believe that Wanda placed her son's life force in two teens who are due to die in the 616 and then her sons can take over the bodies as Tommy and Billy. Ala; the "accident" that Agatha mentioned in the earlier episodes.
I think the souls of the boys went into two teens that were dying or dead (car accident hinted at in the credits). Also Wanda destroyed all the book copies of the Darkhold, not all the temples! And why is no one talking about how Agatha’s mom said Agatha was born evil?! What spell did she use from the Darkhold to get pregnant with Agatha?!
The Young Avengers should start as a Disney+ show where they all meet and interact to developed chemistry then it culminates to a Children's Crusade movie to reincarnate or save the Scarlet Witch from Mephisto.
I will go to bat for the Ralph Bohner misdirect any day, that was super fun stunt casting shenanigans that served the villain reveal and was funny. People are too precious with this shit
I really just want Kate. She is one of my favorites from both the comics and and the show. I guess if they wait too long and everyone is grown by the time they finally get their team up, maybe it could be called The New Avengers?
interesting! i think the salem 7 were possessing lilia, alice, and jen this episode and that the trial wasnt a real trial but just made up by the salem 7 because the screen aspect ratio didnt change during the 'trial'. normally it goes from movie aspect ratio (with black bars at the top and bottom) to fullscreen when we enter a trial.
I think Wanda put a protection spell on Billy to make him attack anyone who found out his identity. Hard to imagine him creaking out over losing Alice then taking the rest of the witches out 5 minutes later.
All I want to say is if Marvel can Ralph Bohner us, they can do anything. They just cockteased us with Mephisto. What if Mephisto never appears in this series.
I wonder if Wanda put the sigil on Billie before the end of the Hex. Then whenever Billie and Tommy disappear after the Hex was lifted, then their souls were transferred into their current bodies.
I think that the reason that there is a two part finale is because Billy is going to reach the end and summon his mom back to life and idk some conflict will ensue because of that
Okay I kind of feel bad saying this but I'm poor so I have to pay for the commercial version of Disney plus, I ended up falling asleep the last 15 minutes cause I didn't want to wait a minute and 30 seconds for the commercial. While I'm laying there half asleep all of a sudden I start hearing Billie Eilish "you should see me with The Crown" I opened my eyes and said wait I just missed something. Rewind my tablet about 10 minutes and my jaw dropped when I seen what happened. And be honest for the last 2 days I've had that song stuck in my head..
"they like good things. Not just things." I think this is what people equate to 'comic book fatigue,' People still love comic book stuff, just not crappy comic book stuff.
The road provides what is lacking. I think part of the lesson is what you desire may not be what you really need. Agatha may not regain all of her former powers, because what she really needs is love and companionship. Wiccan though! I would Not be surprised if Tommy is what he gets at the end. They are twins, so logically one of them alone is lacking the other. But he may also become aware of his entire family and go searching for them. That could set up Wanda’s reintroduction, Vision Quest, and the Young Avengers.
I like this. His original plan was to try to find Wanda because he feels out of sorts living in someone else’s life, and has memories of her (and has probably idolized or hated her, like, how would a layperson know about Agatha Harkness and not know the very famous Avenger Wanda Maximoff?)
@@c_o_r_y Wanda may have even suggested he find Agatha as the only witch she knows who may be able to train Billy. Or he could have independently bumped into legends about Agatha when trying to research what was happening to him as powers started manifesting.

QUESTION: Is Wiccan breaking the 4th wall by looking at the screen directly???? HELP!!!!!!!!!
but but but but ...
If Scarlet Witch actually is the one that will restore the multiverse after Secret Wars I'm thinking this would probably kill her, but her legacy will go on through Wiccan & Speed as fully fledged Avengers.
lol fit al you know they’re al still on the basement and Billy just altered everyone’s reality
All of the previous trials started when one of them touched the trigger, this last trial started on it's own.
I think the whole last trial was a phantom.
Elizabeth said on a recent talk show that she’s very much interested in coming back to the MCU, she just wants Wanda’s resurrection to make sense and do her justice.
very, very likely she played us and she may return in final episode as that "smart" resurrection, she talked about it as it already happend and as if she already filmed it, they are smart to fool us she probably got paid not to say anything and to make us thinking she isnt coming back right now
I really don’t think she died at all 😂
Pretty sure that was on Kimmel, which felt like a bit of a tease instead of wishful thinking since Kimmel is on ABC which is owned by Disney.
I don’t think she is even dead, Vision has some stuff up and coming, a show I believe and I hope they bring the X-Men Quicksilver back, for real this time.
Asking an actor if they would like to return to a billion dollar franchise for a million dollar check is always going to be a “Yes”. Next!
I think Young Avengers should be a series. As a movie, half the cast could age out before any sequel ever happened. As a series, each character would only be a year older with each season, which is perfect.😊
isn't that the same thing essentially, plus young avengers is too big to be limited to a disney+ series
I think Young Avengers was one of the scrapped properties that happened last year.
I thought the same thing except maybe Rio was sacrificed by Agatha to try to resurrect her son, and then Rio became the avatar for Death
(The magic used in Nicholas's conception... potentially not entirely "light" magic, may have been what her original coven came after her for)
Nahhh😅😂😅
@@newthian1783 I like this theory a lot
Thank you! I too am confused how people have forgotten this. He actually even had blue magic back in the Halloween episode.
They could be changing the powersets as this is not the first time they have done this
Why is nobody talking about the black ink on his fingers when he met Agatha that looked like he had been doing dark magic
@@Gee-xb7rtWanda has mind control Billy only had telekinesis and could read peoples mind (except Agatha who he mentioned was quiet on the inside)
No Agatha realized Teen was working with Rio when Rio told her that and that’s how she put it together.
It’s funny that she didn’t seem to consider that his mother had a temper thus why she was on the road to begin with.
but he said Nicolas Scratch, not "I'm or my name is" maybe this broke the sigil and now he has power
You’re 100% correct, surprised no one mentioned this in the video.
This is my favorite Marvel show since WandaVision. I'm loving every minute of it.
Same
For real, I gotta watch it now! People were saying it sucked but Agatha was my favorite part of WandaVision besides the not X-Men Quicksilver who I hope comes back as Quicksilver.
Same as well...
Well...favorite since Loki 2.
@TopherWilliamsmusic yes both seasons of Loki were great as well.
I think many were good or ok but this was definitely great!
Billys soul entered in the body of the 13 year old that died in car crash in east view if u remember agatha said a kid died in eastview at 13
Then that means he didn’t die
Yeah I think that was Billy Kaplan
@@jaestaxz4230the 13 year old? He’s basically dead but billy isn’t
I think the kid that dies was Billy Kaplan, then Billy Maximoff entered his body after he died. Just a speculation.
And he also said," alot happened when I was 13"
Wasn't Billy's magic already blue on WandaVision?
yes, people seem to somehow have missed that
Which again makes me wonder why the witches road was blue when they first entered. The first trial was for Jennifer & her color is pink. And after the first trial, the road has changed its color (rock veins, leaves, etc) to that of the witch whose trial will be next. So why was the road blue when they first entered the road?
@@amyk6319 jennifer was the potions which, the one related to water as listed in the original song
@@amyk6319 the color of the leafs in the witches road has to match the element of the trial. For Jennifer it was water, thats why the leafs are blue.
Im also confused, is people that watch WandaVision have Memory lost? Or wanda magic is entering our world and make them forget about Billy? 😂
🎵"It was Wiccan all along! And I killed Sharon, too! Hahahahaha"🎶
Dark 😮
@@ILoveJamesFeltSharon, not being a magic user, might've also been able to hear his name being spoken...
Will the final song be 'Its been Wanda/Mephisto all along'?
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love it 😂
My theory is that they're using this trilogy to introduce Billy and Tommy for Young Avengers.
Someone did. If Billy 16, 3 years ago he was 13 when the car crash happened. And Billy himself said a lot happened when he was 13.
I hope they don't kill off Agatha, Kathryn Hahn is such a good actress and her portrayal of Agatha is great
I'm sure we'll see her again but it would likely be a long while. Whenever they need someone magical that can be more devious than Wong or Strange they'll use her
@@lightdarksoul2097she'll come back to watch and raise the Richards children
@@flashbrad011 this one would be a pretty funny babysitter I can see her cursing in front of kids
We'll have to wait ad see how he acts in episode 6 to confirm whether he's in control and if it's the power acting on it's own
I agree with this
I don't think Agatha was the one who spoke the words "are you suuuuuuure?-----you're just like your mother" and I don't think "Billy" threw Agatha, Jen or Lilia into the swamp.
I mean, if I was a show runner, I would totally cast Aubrey Plaza to just hang out in frame.
Young Avengers should be fleshed out in a series, but also appear in movies.
The problem with that theory about Billy's magic being blue because of Agatha, is that Billy's magic was already blue in WandaVision and that was before Wanda absorbed Agatha's magic.
Did anyone else notice the lighting on Billy's face when they showed when his crown appeared? Half was red, half was purple/blue.
Also blue in the comics.
You said 90s witchy, Buffy, the Craft and Practical Magic and I felt SEEN
It is a no brainer that Rio is Death . There are so many clues when you consider costumes, the Marvel-issue Tarot cards, how she and Agatha refer to Nicholas Scratch, how she describes herself as “THE Green Witch” as a reference to death being returning to soil/nature, and so much more. I’m curious about the line “You can’t kill me, it’s not allowed.”
Yea i belive that be true, first i hope that this caracter can be Seline but all thing is pointing to mistress deatch.
Yeah because only Dean Winchester can kill Death. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha she isnt
“The witches road exists outside of time and space”…
How many places exist outside of time and space!? It feels like that’s 80% of the MCU at this point.
7:28 That’s a solid Doug being color blind joke.
Good boy! 😂
I need to talk to the Manager… to tell him how much of a good boy he is!
OMG. I don't care
@@pottedplant420god Pretty funny that you cared enough to comment on your indifference.... which is a pretty weird thing.
Love thisss. Joe was so good in it!
This is an extremely cool fun fact! I actually noticed this too!
If Young Avengers becomes a TV show, I want a real season with like 16-20 episodes. This 6-8 episode series are way too short and dont allow for character, plot and story development
❤ THANK YOU
Love the Sweeny Todd refrence. Joe Locke (Billy/Teen/Wicken) played in Sweeny Todd earlier this year
The answer is so simple. Billy put the spell on himself. He needed a coven to get him on the witch's road so he could bring his family back.
You're correct about the dog's vision. They can see blue.
I think if you remove most of MoM from the explanation of why Billy at least is alive, the theoretical chain of events makes more sense
Wanda in the post credits scene of WV, while reading from the Darkhold, hears her kids calling for help. At this point she knows they’re alive in this universe
And when it looked like she slammed the book shut, I took that to mean she went immediately to them, realized they were hurt/trapped, and freed their souls, yet somehow she herself was trapped
I think she sent Billy to get Agatha to free her from wherever she currently is, bc as she said to Agatha before she hexxed her “if I need you, I’ll know where to find you”
theory: It was Billy & Rio all along to punish Agatha.
prelogue; Billy put a sigil on himself not to remember and be angry Agatha for abducting him (in WV ep 8) and trying to kill her mother (in WV ep 9)
episode 1, Rio came to home to distract Agatha in the living room. teen broke into the house and tried to steal something. (they seems to be working together.) When he is caught by Agatha, he understood that Agatha is delulu, he used a spell to make her return to the real world. (so he was already powerful.)
ep 2, when witches finished singing the ballad, nothing happened, actually.
How did they come down there?*)
In reality, there was no witches' road; witches' road was just a myth among witches. (very very sus)
*For the door problem: Ep 2, When Agatha came down the stairs, she looked at her back to door but Hex showed her that there was only a blocked rock behind her instead of a door.
I mean, one of Wiccan's most used powers in the comics anyway, is making portals.
"But we saw that earlier, there was no door no longer; it was a blocked rock, when all the witches went down to the underground. How did they come down there?*"
to answer this, Lilia already answer it.
Please stop using delicious 😂
@@adamhouse5475 Perhaps, but it was also very old-timey country club vibe. 2010s technology in 1960s style, if you will, with everyone looking very preppy and proper.
The first trial had a sous-vide, and a touch screen digital clock like a Nest. How in the world would you think this was 1960’s? It was clearly based on Pretty Little Liars and Desperate Houswives. They even clearly made a nod by saying “Happy little liars”.
Yeah first trial definitely wasn’t 60s at all 😂
Thank you guys for your hard work, passion, and time you all invest in Screen Crush. Your videos help me get through the boring parts of my day! I also agree with the perception of the Young Avengers being a show like WV, AAA, and all the others. We could see Kamala, Wiccan, and team grow together as an effective group. You talked about Rio's colour being green... note the other green magic character we've seen is Hela - goddess of death
Hear me out billy caplan knew evreything the whole time the best way to get agatha back from what she did do to his mom is to tell death where she is to make her bring him to the road without a coven faking everything he put the sigil on himself and well have an opening where it sings billy all along
YES!!!!! And then whatever trial is happening with the castle and the metal plated room could parallel WV episode 8.
i love how agatha is playing out. great show. and i know the marvels didnt draw much. but i actually liked it.
You should see me in a crown. 🤷🏻♂️✨

If Rio is death, that doesn't mean that she knows who the teen IS. She knows that the teen isn't Agatha's kid cause he's dead and the teen isn't...
Damn! You'll broke this down like no other. First time watching just trying to figure out all of this BECAUSE of the ending. Great commentary!
What if Billy’s soul took the body of a dying teen, hence why they keep showing “near death experience” in credits. Which then makes you wonder if Rio is helping Billy
Yeah I have a feeling billy and rio are working together
Quote from Wandavision ending. Agatha “you have no idea what you e unleashed, you’re gonna need me.” Wanda:”if I do I’ll know where to find you.” Do you guys think that that line actually sets something up for this show? Or if it will actually be addressed?
I do
@@Artika.yeah as it is supposed to be part of a trilogy
Vision did assemble the young avengers in the comics based on their lineage!
"You get gray" - that is the funniest thing Doug has said ever, among a great many funny things. Well done!
Looking back, I remember seeing him in the 80s attire from this episode in the commercials. Should've seen it coming
Young Avengers should be a limited series where each episode is focusing on the origin of one of the members. Then culminates in a big movie.
It was a great reveal. I’ve been waiting for this recap to drop!
How is quick silver dead with his healing factor
Billy's powers were already in blue in wandavision, so I don't know about the purple minus red theory as an explanation
I have watched and loved all the witches shows. Don’t think I have watched the movies though.
Billy is the one walking the road. Not Agatha. Billy is the one who recruited Agatha and collected the coven technically.
I kinda don't care about Young Avengers, but if they're going to be a thing, they should be a TV show with 20ish episodes ordered.
16:47 that’s funny because Joe Locke (Billy’s actor) actually played Tobias in Sweeney Todd on broadway 😂
Werewolf by Night and Moon Knight were great! But I agree Agatha All Along gives me hope… hopefully the movies get back on track lol
I think the Westview section of theb MCU is Schaffer's personal Hex that allows some autonomy to genuinely appeal to women and queer people.
First I think the Teen is Billy, But I think in the final shot it was Agatha's Mother Possessing Teen's Body!
interesting! i think the salem 7 were possessing lilia, alice, and jen this episode and that the trial wasnt a real trial but just made up by the salem 7 because the screen aspect ratio didnt change during the 'trial'. normally it goes from movie aspect ratio (with black bars at the top and bottom) to fullscreen when we enter a trial.
So if Agatha is a Spirit Witch, maybe Wiccan was sent to her to resurrect Wanda & be redeemed. That would be interesting.
*Billy.
7:29 that was the best colorblind dog joke. That was so good.
I thank and respect ScreenCrush for always acknowledging Werewolf by Night! 🌕🐺
I think that the reason that there is a two part finale is because Billy is going to reach the end and summon his mom back to life and idk some conflict will ensue because of that
What did you think of the reveal?
"Teen" was playing them the whole time!
@@mattcliburnYES 100% HE has been more.
Fire tbh
The teen is really Ian McNee
"they like good things. Not just things." I think this is what people equate to 'comic book fatigue,' People still love comic book stuff, just not crappy comic book stuff.
Thanos didn’t kill vision with the snap, as far as I remember, he killed him to get the infinity stone so he could snap.
He ripped out the soul stone out of visions head…that killed him…then he snapped
One thing: Billy's magic had been blue in Wandavision
The extra scene at the end of the series will be Billy meeting up with white Vision to find Tommy, and that is what Vision Quest will be about
Alice: "I'll see you at the end."
I need you to let MT on here to talk about his Marvel theory about the colors of things and how that plays in to Wiccan’s blue magic
