- I use these two fishing knots all the time for tying lures to mono or fluorocarbon line. They are easy to learn, very strong, can be tied fast and are the best.
Both are good for:
1. Topwater lures
2. Jigs
3. Spoons
4. Jerk Baits
5. Swimbaits
6. Paddle Tails
7. And many other fishing baits
The Trilene Knot is the strongest of the two. The no slip loop method of tying on lures provides additional abrasion protection and allows the bait to have more action.

That loop knot demo was excellent! I’ve been using the Trilene and clinch knots since I was a kid.
Thanks JC for the BEST knot video on the tube, you made it SO EASY to see . Keep up the great job
Thanks Mr.Rad I use the trylean knot all the time ,I saw that video on the strongest knot. Thank you for your awesome videos😊
I like the Palomar knot the best for tying directly to hooks (bait etc.). Very simple to tie and tests have shown it to be the strongest. Agree with loop knot for lures.
820 vids!?? That's awesome man !
2 knots is all you need! Keep it simple!🤙🤙
Hello JC happy fishing 🎣 Tuesday 🎣👍 I normally use fishing snap clips for luers

Thanks for your great videos JC. Do you still like the canoe man loop knot?
It's a great knot, but I quit using it because it came undone a couple of times because I didn't chinch it tight enough.
Awesome video thanks
Hey JC great content! I sent you an email yesterday didn’t know if you had seen it.
I only use the uni knot one of the strongest and easiest to tie
My G/kids call it the Fish Library LuV 2 Wtch & commentb w/them as they learn more & more TY again ;)
Something new, I always thought a palomar was the strongest knot for that situation.
