Just imagine how cool this radio would be if everything worked! i knew this yesterday.... but very cool video! Lets see more....
Great video and very helpful. The only thing that the key on the mike does in my case is lock the frequency. I tried short press, long press, it doesn't create the screen capture files. But I learned how to connect the WiFi to the radio and access the file system.

Many other functions don't work properly (or at all)...but it's great to know that they successfully implemented screen capture. 🤔

Is it possible this is just unintentional and that button happens to be mapped to the Linux prtsc keyboard button?
It's written in the app_qt software, so they probably meant to.

Brill - love it when i am linked to wifi on my radio i do not see the ip address of the radio. ?
Interesting. Have you tried to manually type in an IP address in the x6100, which would correlate to your routers range ?

I have tried numerous times entering a valid IP from the range for my router
You press EXIT, go back into WLAN, and it's back to 127.....
@@4X4-RADIO to type the IP,. Move to another section of the IP /. Wifi settings, then saving. It intermittently works here and Took many times. Another suggestion that had been given was, it's apparently a little more reliable to complete with an external keyboard. Finally, the latest firmware should be installed (12/30/21). Best of luck
@@4X4-RADIO I had the same problem but after trying several times entering the IP address with an external keyboard and mouse it suddenly worked. However the first time after exit I had to reenter the values. after that now it is still working. I can now exit WiFi, power off the radio and re-enable the WiFi and it is still working.
The more you all keep digging into this radio, the more I want one.
Part of me says "DO IT" the other part of me says "Wait until they get it production ready" :D
@@HAMRADIODUDE I'm looking at it for a SOTA rig and also to use while traveling for work. Smaller and less expensive than a 705, both of which are pluses for my use case.

I don't think it works from the mic anymore (in the most recent firmware version). If you have a keyboard, it is CTRL+L at the same time. Best of luck!
