- The murder of Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme was a shock to all of Scandinavia, it was the first time in 200 years a Scandinavian head of state was murdered and it changed Scandinavian security and it also changed the Scandinavian innocence forever.
The Police trail is a trail that leads into, not only the Swedish police and the Palme investigation, but into the extreme right-wing police within the police district of Norremalm in Stockholm. It leads into the military, into Sweden's security police sæpo, and it leads to South Africa.
It's a trail that has its origin long before the murder and it’s a trail that has never been investigated.

There is disagreement about the timeline after the murder has occurred. There are four different timelines and different opinions about who came when and in what order. I base the timeline in this documentary on STV's investigation (Lars Borgnes and Thomas Bresky) and conclusion, as well as the one that two Finnish brothers wrote about in the thorough review of the murder in the book they wrote.
These two both agree on the timeline I use and in which order the different police cars arrived and therefore I believe this is the most likely timeline.
In addition, both policemen in unit 3230 have admitted that they were the first police car to arrive and that one of them vomited when he saw Olof Palme dead.

You are absolutely right that there is one thing that is not agreed upon and that is what time the first police are at the murder scene. Neither Borgnäs nor Preskey believe that 3230 is the first police at the scene!! Never actually heard of anyone having that theory. The first police officer on the scene is Gösta Söderström, then there is disagreement as to what time it happens. As I wrote earlier, you are welcome to write how you arrived at this more concretely. Of course I could be wrong too, but then I want to know where the facts are that speak against me. I'm having a bit of a hard time watching the documentary you're suggesting because I don't think you're credible when you make the claims you do kind regards Jim Lindblom.

My sources for this are, as mentioned, the two journalists at STV, their many documents about this, and the book by the two Finnish brothers.
I was also lucky enough that in 1999 I was able to drive the editor of STV's "Uppdrag Granskning" to a seminar in Lillehammer (I was working for Norwegian TV and the facts department there at the time).
We talked for two hours about the murder and he was able to tell me that they had recently discovered that Sapo had been bugging their office (which is illegal).
We discussed the various timelines and I am using the timeline and order of arrival of police cars that he, the editor, thought was the most likely.
He also gave me copies of "The Palm Murder - Mannen, Mordet, Mysteriet” which was to be broadcast on STV later that year.
The two Finnish authors (Who’s names I have forgotten) also agree on this timeline and their thorough research into this, together with STV's opinion, makes me use this.
As mentioned earlier, there is disagreement about whom and when the various police cars arrived at the scene, and you are welcome to have a different opinion than mine.
If your sources say otherwise, that's fine. No one really has the 100% correct answer, which I don't claim to do either.

i think this is what happened, witnesses at the time, according to the sky Doc "The Man who played with Fire" saw men with "walkie talkies" scattered at certain key points - "The Spotters", in 2020, a now deceased scapegoat was identified as the assassin "Skandia Man" by Swedish Police - who happened to be working late that night and was walking behind the couple - how would he know who they are - police never interviewed him at the time, even after he asked to be interviewed as saw everything from a distance i understand ? - conveniently has been deceased for previous 20 years......Ummmm - well done a good accurate Blog.
