  • 8-step formula to help you to make music you actually LOVE and like. I will demonstrate it in action in Ableton Live, showing tips and tricks on how I produced a whole track from start to finish using this formula. It is designed so that it will help you every time you feel uninspired when the track does not sound as you first imagined or when you get stuck in your production process.

The beauty of LNA is the Patreon Family. It is truly a part of Liina’s own development and artistry thus we support each other and that in turn creates a deeper understanding for each others creativity. If you haven’t taken the plunge into becoming a Patreon family member this could be your moment.

I dearly love that you are sitting in that studio with a $400 mic on the end of a $15 boom arm too lmao.
Bit of a tip - put ties (cable/hair) around the springs to damp their resonance.

The trick youre doing on the autofilter on the horns is one i use a lot, but live controlled form Sylpyo wind controller on the tilt axis. SO expressive

I love how you explain all these deeper concepts of production! Your chart in the beginning is a great outline. I follow your channel and love it because I feel like I'm on the same path as you with recording, songwriting, producing, and making music [with ableton!] Anyway, love what you are doing - keep up the good work making great videos! 😎💖💗💖💗👍 * and great music as I'm following you on spotify :-)

Lina, this is awesome. And I have the feeling that one of my tracks can end up with the same fate like the original of your fantastic song. The thing is that I feel me saying constantly "Dude, there is something missing and something is possibly wrong". I'm struggling with these thoughts since weeks.
This formula is great. My track is remake of an old song I made with my musical partner 25 years ago. I wanted to shift it from a Leonard-Cohan-meets-Tears-For-Fears-style to something like melodic house. The track itself is easy. And yes, the melody is pretty me. But since weeks, I start over and over again to get this thing well-balanced, so the whole track is pretty me.
So, in the end, I know what you are talking about in this video. And it made me subscribe to your channel. I follow this and that channel for music production. They almost tell the same. So, it's better to follow a musician like you who talks about the other things around. Great work, keep it going. Greetings from Germany.

Think of an album like a movie or a book. Directors and writers order their scenes and chapters in a very specific way to illuminate narrative and thematic content, and in any good film or piece of literature, each section builds off the others so that there’s a satisfying conclusion. But at the same time, it’s not something that calls attention to itself, since each part works together organically to make this seamless whole. Are album 💿 are like a movie 🍿 or book 📖 or only movie or book 📖 or both movie 🍿 🎥 and 📖📕 📚 ?
