I am out of words to describe how thankful I am that SOMEONE actually cares enough about their build to verify if everything works as expected and check if the math is correct! I've seen so many builds that only looks good but fares just mildly in game. Thank you for putting what looks like many hours of theorycrafting in this build (and giving us access to your spreadsheet).

Finally, some love for blackflame. So many people sleep on it. Whether be the incantations, the Godslyer Greatsword, or the Godskin Stitcher/Blackflame Tornado, I see so few people even touch them on youtube.
The lore is incredible, as well.

I also like to think of 30 FTH as the big fireball magic number. One of the many cool things about Giantsflame Take Thee. You can even be cheeky with an offhand giant’s seal for the mixup assuming jelly buff isn’t on (bug will be fixed eventually lol).
Fire in real life: Exothermal chemical reaction involving oxygen, a flammable fuel source and heat
Fire in Elden Ring: Power from outer dimensional gods and the concept of the inevitable death of all things

Damn the black flame buff really sells the build! I was looking at the GSGS and black flame stuff in general and this guide is great! Gonna rock this with the Beast Champion set or the altered Banished Knight set. Or my old favorite… nights cavalry and crimson hood…

For some reason I didn’t get it on my first play through, but now in my second one it was dropped by the boss and I immediately upgraded it and live it stats, move set and special skills…
I want to use it on my third play through cause I’m doing my first one using dual blades to play it different and being more aggressive….

@@syrobe Maybe a good duo pvp build? Like 2 seperate builds that help eachother out. My buddy and I got smoked the other day lol. It seemed like one guy was a strong close ranged and the other was spamming long ranged attacks

Howl of shabriri now goes for 40 seconds and raises damage by 25%. It’s a body buff so you can replace fgms

Good information and build video, Thanks! This is a build just for the sword though because trying to cast incantations on a fairly regular basis with 10 mind would be silly.
Just curious if you did any testing on blackflame tornado? It seems to stack the blackflame burning effect the longer enemies stand in it, as hp bars start melting increasingly faster the longer the tornado clips enemies?
I love the blackflame aesthetic and was wanting a decent build with it

I love how the character swings the sword I wish there were more colossals like that
It's a very varied build. You can run a plethora of side weapons with great scaling, have access to the major faith buffs, and the godslayer greatsword is such a good weapon. That being said, it's also very frustrating, since it already takes so long to fire off, any mob sneezing at you interrupts the skill. It should really have its hyperarmor back.

It might be worth looking at which boss cosplay is the most powerful. You have a lot to look at between Godslayers, Radhan, Morgott, Malenia, Godfrey, and even Maliketh

I love these builds !! Unfortunately, the jelly fish does not work anymore. Or at least for me, the buff goes away as soon as I remove it. 😢 amazing any way!! 🎉

Im glad my big daddy black flame sword got some love. I genuinely love the twisty design.
Something I've always wanted to know about blackflame is if it can stack on itself. In my playthrough, I noticed that using blackflame tornado seemed to do a lot more DoT and do it a lot faster, as if every hit was applying a new, stacking black flame.
This was my build from day 1 of elden ring, god slayer incantations and a faith weapon, either blasphemous blade or Malikeths black blade.

I honestly always liked all of the Black Flame stuff in this game. This was great!
Although, at this point in time, no weapon can come even close to the Death's Poker when it comes to PvE.
