I'm going to be a freshman in college this fall and I'm definitely most nervous about this transition. I'm going to Loyola University in Chicago, and I know living in a big city is going to be super different from living in the suburbs. I'm also nervous because I haven't had to make new friends in AGES. I know once I get there it will be great, but the build-up to it all is crazy!

I just got done with fundamentals and pharm! I'm now moving into 2nd semester and its a research class with med surg. Clinicals were by far the best part. Good luck! You're gonna rock this! I have been helping my dad recover from a irregular finger injury, and his 2nd stroke for the past 3 months. I will keep learning more and more everyday even after I get where I want to be.
I can't wait to be doing my first year of nursing school! I am so excited and nervous for the results of my application, but I had multiple professors and my advisor (who is also a nursing professor) tell me I should get in without any problems. I was most nervous starting 7th grade because it was the first time I had ever moved. I started at a school where I knew no one for the first time since 1st grade.
I went to college in Washington and I'm from Massachusetts, I had never been to the west coast/seen my college in person before I went there for the first time! I didn't know anyone and my friends/family were 3,000 miles away so I was a nervous wreck haha. Grad school was better because I was older and had been working for a few years and felt like a more serious student. Good luck!! You are going to love nursing
When you mentioned pharmacology you just made me miss my psychopharmacology course all over again. It was a requirement for the psych majors and not at all for me but I took it for fun. My specialty was in forensic mental health so it did make sense to take it. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity since I do have an interest in the medical field. I would read your textbooks for fun too 😅 You're making me miss school. I've actually been learning a bit about anesthesiology recently because why not. Even though I don't plan on working in the medical field, I love learning as much as I can and understanding. I feel like whenever I've been injured or sick enough to end up in the ER, understanding procedures and terminology helps me a lot. As for the question of the day, maybe I was most nervous for my first day of undergrad. It didn't help that my first class was math. I went to grad school at the same school so I already knew the faculty and having also worked on campus for years, I knew plenty of staff as well.
When you uploaded the video where you got into nursing school I commented that I was still waiting on admission, and I wanted to say that I got in! I'm going to start my Master's in september!! I hope you have a good time at nursing school!

I can't wait to be doing my first year of nursing school! I am so excited and nervous for the results of my application, but I had multiple professors and my advisor (who is also a nursing professor) tell me I should get in without any problems.
I was most nervous starting 7th grade because it was the first time I had ever moved. I started at a school where I knew no one for the first time since 1st grade.

Good luck. I remember my own nursing school and midwifery school days so many years ago!
I went to college in Washington and I'm from Massachusetts, I had never been to the west coast/seen my college in person before I went there for the first time! I didn't know anyone and my friends/family were 3,000 miles away so I was a nervous wreck haha. Grad school was better because I was older and had been working for a few years and felt like a more serious student. Good luck!! You are going to love nursing
When you mentioned pharmacology you just made me miss my psychopharmacology course all over again. It was a requirement for the psych majors and not at all for me but I took it for fun. My specialty was in forensic mental health so it did make sense to take it. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity since I do have an interest in the medical field. I would read your textbooks for fun too 😅 You're making me miss school. I've actually been learning a bit about anesthesiology recently because why not. Even though I don't plan on working in the medical field, I love learning as much as I can and understanding. I feel like whenever I've been injured or sick enough to end up in the ER, understanding procedures and terminology helps me a lot.
As for the question of the day, maybe I was most nervous for my first day of undergrad. It didn't help that my first class was math. I went to grad school at the same school so I already knew the faculty and having also worked on campus for years, I knew plenty of staff as well.
When you uploaded the video where you got into nursing school I commented that I was still waiting on admission, and I wanted to say that I got in! I'm going to start my Master's in september!!

Congrats Kiara! I won't start school until fall semester for two days of my schedule, makes me want to get back into school. I'll hopefully graduate but hopefully I can drive after my written test will be taking. I'm so nervous to be driving but I'm 22 turning 23 in August.
