I think the best thing that happened to the anime adaption was Tite coming in and going "ok, I'm gonna fix my mistakes, so I want to be involved in everything." and the studio was like "You Son Of A Bitch... I'm in."
I do appreciate that this whole TYBW arc almost feels like it's about everyone else but Ichigo lol. I love everyone else getting their shine before the series ends. The series focused so much on Ichigo in the OG anime that I feel like the stories of Ukitake, Komamura, Unohana, squad zero, Isshin and Masaki etc were long over due. So I actually don't mind that Ichigo hasn't fought much.
How did u get to this conclusion ? This arc is literally describing Ichigo's identity from the very first arc into getting his full power. Everyone else is literally getting a side story instead without any build up.

Compared to the anime, it explains more about Yhwach's motives and his plans after killing Reio on why he came back.
I wonder if there is more going on with their fight than we saw, specifically about how in the last episode they emphasized communicating with spiritual pressure only. So it wouldn't surprise me if we get a flashback later to a totally different conversation they had non-verbally. Lets also not forget that Ishida is well aware of Orihime's healing abilities and that he was also there to see White regenerate a hole through Ichigo's heart. So he would know the wound he dealt likely isn't lethal, but the other Quincy probably wouldn't.

Ichigo is just too strong at this point to keep him consistently in this arc. That being said his two fights he’s gotten are anime only so we’re eating good.

To deem the entire Humanity/Human World (including his father, btw, who chose not to live as a Quincy...) worthy of extinction and oblivion makes little to no sense. And knowing Uryu has read his grandpa's diaries*, he should know that Y.H. was the one (indirectly) behind his mother's death and certainly ONE of the obstacles impeding the harmony between Quincies and the remaining 3 Worlds for all this time (countless world wars, absorbing their powers and sacrificing them time and time again...I mean, Uryu just saw this happen some episodes ago...). Unless he's just buying Y.H.'s bs and very resumed and tilted version of History and not bothering to investigate any further than that, which wouldn't make sense with Uryu being the rational and supposedly intelligent individual that he is...Right? *«(...) At some point, Ishida Sōken REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE NEW PROGRESS OF THE QUINCY POWERS, such as the Vollständig, and held on to the old Letzt Stil [-> again, completely the opposite of what Uryu is doing...]. When he was EXILED BY THEM, Sōken escaped from the Quincy's hidden realm via a portal, taking with him a device used to activate it. (...) Following his exile, Sōken kept a journal with information on the Wandenreich, YHWACH, and THE TRUTH ABOUT THE DEATH OF URYU’S MOTHER.» Also, Uryu really has no idea what the Soul King could or could not have done to save the Quincies (and again, only has Y.H.'s very biased side of the story...), so it makes no sense to blame him and deem him has some sort of "Judas of the Quincy" to be destroyed, either. You picked up the same thing I did right away. He hit him with a flank shot. Any more and he risked seriously harming Ichigo. But on the other hand, Ichigo has walked Irazusando. He beat Aizen. He is a spiritual entity that has surpassed a soul reaper. He can heal from this.

I literally don't understand why people ACTUALLY think Uryu is an ACTUAL betrayer in our eyes watching. Uryu isn't a follower type of person/character, he ain't gonna betray loved ones and just GO with the opps JUST because "I'm a quincy!" When they literally killed his mother too Lmao. Him constantly saying those basic quincy lines and that "world doesn't need soul repears!" Should sound ridiculous to us and not really sad, and I'm pretty positive Ichigo started to figure that out as they're fighting, so he took that L for Uryu cause Ichigo knows he's got something going on.
I’m most positive Ichigo figured it out, especially since if you can remember back at the end of arrancar arc when Ichigo fought Gin and said he can read people’s heart whenever he’s fighting them or notices it towards the end of battle, except for ONLY Gin himself since his heart was closed off towards Ichigo and couldn’t read him.

Remember that Mayuri murdered and mutilated Uryu's grandfather! And the soul society allowed it! Uryu has NOT forgotten that.
