This is correct. At that time, they have a small windows of opening in a short time where they can enter soul palace following Yhwach's step. And obviously their transportation to go there doesn't allow for more than 5 people at once, also they have only a single transport to do that.

Because both Ichibei and Yhwach are a lot more alike than either of them think. The Monk is just as ruthless in keeping the status-quo, as Yhwach was in trying to break it; and ,unlike Yamamoto, Ichibei's conscience has always been clear. No shame or remorse for any past actions; it's all for for peace's sake in Ichibei's mind.
I believe it is CFYOW where hisagi asks Kisuke why he even made the hogyoku and Kisuke straight up says because he was curious and he wanted to. He then goes on to say that he and Mayuri are much more similar than people think and that he would like to admit.

It's not implied in any way. That's not even the stance ichigo takes when activating his true bankai. Plus I'm sure the reason ichigo isn't using bankai yet is: Spoiler alert!! The power of his bigger zanpakuto is still dormant

Just to clear up some things up they can’t just go up to the soul kings palace whenever they want. If you remember from last cour they had to build a whole rocket to just get Ichigo and Co up there. And they can’t do that again with the current situation. Also Uryu’s master is also his grandfather who was killed purposefully by Mayuri. His mother dying by Ywach was more so of an unfortunate accident since she was so sickly.
Her being sick or not makes no difference. Every Quincy whom Auswählen has been performed on will die sooner or later from the silver blood clot forming in their heart.
The reason they can't just go up is because there are layers between the Soul Palace and Soul Society that destroy anything not allowed access through them. That's why squad zero had to use the cylinder to travel and pick up Ichigo, Rukia, Renji and Byakuya. Rukia, Renji and Byakuya were given special clothes that allowed passage. So did Ichigo, however, Ichigo rushed his way down and smashed through the layers. This is what created an opening that allowed Yhwach and his Royal Guard to head up there. Currently, the soul reapers in Mayuri's lab need a way to head up there and are working on it. The anime has vaguely hinted at it but in the manga it was more explicit.
“So is Ichigo!” (in terms of being a Quincy) Eh… not really, at least not thematically. Ichigo may have Quincy blood and powers, but he was not raised a Quincy. Quincy pride and stuff like that was not drilled into him at a young age like Uryu. plus Quincys are allergic to hollows reiatsu but ichigo isn't since he's a hollow himself so he can't also understand how it feels to not fit in the cycle of life
In the last episode yhwach implied that the reio who could see the future knew that the new world he was making wasn't for the quincies. So that's why yhwach says quincy blood can't forgive him. So yhwach is here to remove the soul king and return the worlds to the one primordial world that it used to be
The Soul King is the root of the problem for Quincies since He is the one who created a world and a system that the Quincies dont fit into. Remember the existence of Hollows will constantly put the Quincies in danger. Since they have no path to hollowfication like the Soul reapers. But their method to exterminate Hollows upsets the balance . Which causes conflict between the Soul reapers and Quinces. So basically Yhwach wants to create a world in which The Quinces fit into so it kinda makes sense why they would beef with the Soul King in addition to the Soul Reapers. Also there is the aspect of how the Soul King did nothing about it and how he is basically being used as a tool to keep the worlds in balance. The Soul Kings fate is kinda sad. And maybe somewhere Yhwach feels sad for his Father for being used and wants to create a system where he doesnt have to be
His dead wasn't in vain, the 3 worlds didn't collapse, and now Ywhach has the soul king in it, so they are not collapsing until he decides what to do with it.

To deem the entire Humanity/Human World (including his father, btw, who chose not to live as a Quincy...) worthy of extinction and oblivion makes little to no sense. And knowing Uryu has read his grandpa's diaries*, he should know that Y.H. was the one (indirectly) behind his mother's death and certainly ONE of the obstacles impeding the harmony between Quincies and the remaining 3 Worlds for all this time (countless world wars, absorbing their powers and sacrificing them time and time again...I mean, Uryu just saw this happen some episodes ago...). Unless he's just buying Y.H.'s bs and very resumed and tilted version of History and not bothering to investigate any further than that, which wouldn't make sense with Uryu being the rational and supposedly intelligent individual that he is...Right? *«(...) You gotta remember that Yhwach took the left hand from Osho back in their encounter. Ichibei sealed his Almighty as the cost for it.
