I love the fact that you all had the same amazing server and recognized his abilities. That shrimp and grits looked like something the ancestors (and Bear's Auntie) would cook up! This place is up there for me, not as good as Brown Derby overall but a worthy second place especially with the amusing antics the crew gets up to. Can't wait to go back! Awesome! I last went here years ago and this version of the vegan pasta is so much better. When I went, it wasn't spicy even a little bit (I like spice), and it was just marinara, noodles, brocolli and, I believe, crunchy carrots. It wasn't on the menu either, if I remember right. Awesome to see it's improved 1000000%.
I had to revisit this.. We went today and I got exactly what Bear got.. we're the same on the deviled eggs. For the shrimp and grits I would've liked if the sauce had some spice.. but those grits.. omg.. Bear, were you feeling ok after this? Cause those grits HAD to be made with cream.. they were soooo creamy. That was my favorite part. Also had the onion Rings.. I was looking forward to the horseradish sauce...I detected no horseradish.. it was just plain sour cream.
@@PrincessandtheBear I'm coming back again with an update. I brought back the leftovers of the shrimp and grits and put them in the fridge. I just ate the rest and NOW it has some spice. We had an 11am reservation.. I'm thinking everything didn't have time to marinate yet. I wasn't agreeing with your 5/5 at first.. I was giving it a 3/5..but now it's a 5/5. Spice level before=0 Spice Level now=3/10. Now it has flavor.
Well, I wasn't sure if I wanted to book another Fantasmic package BECAUSE I've done it before but with Sci-Fi.. and as much as I love the Salmon Pappardelle there it wasn't worth it to me as my 14 yr old son (will be charged as an adult) who is on the spectrum only eats chicken tenders (not even the fries). Soooo.. I guess if I have to eat 2 apps I'd want it to be that salad and deviled eggs.
So a little while ago my wife and I made deal that we would only go to places on our next big trip we hadn't been to before. Then she put an exception: Ragland Road. Then she mentioned 50's primetime. I'm not showing her this vlog. She would be all over the pasta dish and the salad. I'm sure she will add a couple more places as time goes on.

50's is my favorite in Hollywood Studios, best birthday dinner Ive ever had was there. Also love Bear's Muppet Show Shirt

It was a 3 magic pill dish. 2 before eating and 1 afterwards to make sure there are no ill effects. 🐻
