I would say to be aware of the place you are at. For example, being in Tel Aviv is a lot different than being in Jerusalem (especially the holy sites). Try to soak in as much history as you can. It’s a land full of so much history and it’s definitely shows you a world we aren’t accustomed to in the West

How is it fair that they infiltrated a music festival and ripped children from their mothers arms, stripped girls naked on the ground, beat and raped them for everyone to see? How is it fair that their dead naked bodies were paraded around Gaza and defiled? How is it fair that Kfir Bibas has spent the majority of his life in Hamas captivity? How is it fair that Hamas hides RPGs, rockets, grenades, guns, and various other weapons in hospitals, schools, and mosques? How is it fair that hostages are held inside of civilian homes and hospitals in Gaza? How is it fair that Al Jazeera and UNRWA have Hamas terrorists as employees? How is it fair that Yahya Sinwar, who's life was saved by Israeli doctors, gets to hide in the tunnels like a rat while his people pay for his actions in bloodshed? How is it fair that Houthis harass ships in the Red Sea? How is it fair that Hezbollah throws rockets over the northern border every single day? How is it fair that Hezbollah bombed a child's soccer practice? How is it fair that a peaceful solution was offered seven times, and Palestinians rejected every single time? How is it fair that Israel allows these same Palestinians to cross into the country to work to support their families; the same families that Hamas uses as human shields so they don't have to answer for their crimes? How is it fair that Hamas steals the aid that Israel sends and sells it back to Gazans for a profit, effectively dehydrating and starving them? How is it fair that every Arab country has attacked Israel at the first chance it got? How is it fair that Iran gets to fund terroristic proxies that bring horrible things to this world? How is it fair to that Jews have been the most persecuted people in history, experiencing heavy traumas just because of their ethnicity? How is it fair that 6 million Jews were ethnically cleansed, aka brutally murdered in the most horrifying torturous ways, from just one of thousands of incidents? How is it fair that that wasn't even close to the first time? How is it fair that Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Alexander Lobanov, Carmel Gat, Almog Sarusi, and Ori Danino were murdered in cold blood right before their overdue rescue? How is it fair that on this day, 101 hostages remain in Gaza, as they have for the past 341 days? You know what is fair? The Iron Dome, protecting Israelis from the barrages of rockets they face on a daily basis. The IDF, thwarting fatal attacks before they happen, eliminating those who have committed such crimes. The weapons used to precision strike terrorists while largely minimizing civilian deaths. The State of Israel protects her people, and her people protect her. You don't see Israelis using their children as martyrs, to buy another day in this world. You see them fight to protect their families, their freedom, their lineage, their pursuit of happiness, and most importantly, their lives. Israelis value life over death. Peace over violence. But Jews are done with getting tortured, raped, killed, and enslaved. They have vowed to never let such atrocities happen again. They will never again stand by as they are slaughtered. They are ready and prepared to defend themselves, as any other entity would be. You don't allow someone to come into your house and brutally defile your wife and children while you watch. So why exactly would you or anyone else get the idea that Israel wouldn't eliminate every last person who had an involvement in this attack? If the Palestinians want freedom so bad, they can go fight Hamas for it. Overthrow them, create a peaceful governing body, get along with all their neighbors, including Egypt and Jordan. The Israelis have been asking for many years for peace. Accept it. De-radicalize their children by giving them a proper education, that they would hopefully have better access to. The disaster you speak of is the product of generations of terroristic brainwashing and indoctrination, all of which you have clearly fallen victim to as well. Hamas is responsible for the pile of rubble that is Gaza. They started this war. They will not finish it.
It’s not expensive they only overcharged you most likely cause you didn’t speak there language so they thought about taking advantage of the price but don’t feel bad they need the money more then you your traveling they are working so always help them when u can
