Evening Kate. I used to do my own meal plan, but we're thinking of getting the meals box after Christmas. The puppies are so good 👍 there getting big ❤
It’s so nuts isn’t it . I’ve made more effort today I’ve ditched the leggings for wooly tights and put one of my nicer dungaree dresses on that I normally wear to go out
I only do a rough meal plan. Before I go shopping, I check my fridge and freezer, then I'll do my list quite vague, e.g. three lots of fresh meat, frozen mince (if I have none), frozen fish (but not cod if that's already in freezer.) I eat most things, so I tend to plan around good offers available. I love chicken, so I batch cook chicken casseroles, chicken curry, soups etc. I love lasagne, but hate making it just for me, so I buy a ready-made one. I do a more detailed plan when my family visit as I need to work round vegetarians, gluten intolerance, family favourites etc. I do more batch cooking if I'm having busy periods of time, work getting done on the house, extended family visits or deep cleaning sessions. I also iron my pyjamas, they seem comfier. I also think tea towels dry better when ironed. It's funny how many of us have our own "uniform". I heard somewhere that we only wear 20% of the clothes we own, so you're not alone!
Thank you for sharing your cooking and ironing tips Sally . This is the first year we’ve batch cooked in advance of Christmas so we have some meals prepared and in the freezer ready for Christmas . I remember my mum always getting very stressed by all the cooking at Christmas 🎄
My ironing basket is full at minute due to I washed on Tuesday then went away for few days but I have got Christmas presents delivering tomorrow because I need to deliver my nephew presents while he at school but hopefully I get to do the ironing on Saturday
It’s good to get it out of the way before Christmas . I took all my husband’s stuff out of the ironing basket the other day as he does not mind if it’s not ironed . It was like a weight lifting . I only ironed what I wanted to iron 😅
I'd love to be a bit more organised with the meal planning. I do get a Hello Fresh box from time to time and our local farm shop stocks the Cook ready meals which are fabulous. I think you mentioned their fish pie once. I try to keep them in the freezer and then just get the veg. Idiot proof, delicious dinners every time 😊
I, too am the same about wearing the same uniform indoors. I worry that I'll wear out my good clothes at home when I'm working around the house. like But in the summer I'm gonna try and wear more prettier clothes indoors otherwise they will be too dated to wear outside.

The meal boxes have made it so easy for us . The puppies are growing 🙌
I, too, am in the habit of just wearing the same dreary but functional outfits when I have a closet that's full of lovely things. It's nuts!

I use old clothes for dusters.xx🐝🐝
They are brilliant and it makes decluttering the clothes so much easier
Kate I to like to iron my pyjamas, it’s a good feel factor 😅
It is ☺️🙌💜
❤
Thank you 🙏
