I wish i could get a pc since i dont got one. This will help me do my school work and i could finally play with my friends. I cant even do school work at home and have to do it at school since i got no device other then a phone. This would help me so much by doing my work and i could finnaly play with my friends. Love u guys and i hope i win this😢
We appreciate you PowerGPU for the giveaways win or lose you guys put on for the PC community if I don’t win one, one day I’ll buy one specifically from you PowerGPU!!!
A new PC would do so much for a broke college student like myself who is majoring in fine arts. It would be a massive upgrade to my current laptop that can barely run Photoshop without the fans getting so loud or just starts lagging because of the 8gb RAM capacity. We appreciate you guys for constantly giving back to the community!
This PC is so sick yall always have sick builds. I would love to get this build so I can enjoy my gaming experience even more, as my current build is getting a bit old and has problems with the bigger titles. I also would really love to get back into streaming, I havent been able to in so long because my PC can barely handle gaming AND streaming. Anyways, good luck to everyone I hope it goes to someone that could really use it :)
Wow becoming more invested on the channel since i was a forever on console guy the Building streams really are interesting and want me to someday have a pc but life has other plans Cheers from Mexico
@RizeUpNow His really passionate about game development. I love your content you should make video where chatgpt tells you what components to use for the PC.
Last moment entry, Don't mind if i do get a upgrade so i can play apex legends and R6 on high settings 😊. Good luck to @Karazumas,@RizeUpNow and everyone else! Thannks for this opportunity.
My little brother has a PS4 and he's saving money to buy a PS5 because some games he really wants to play to (Dragon Ball:Sparking! Zero, GTAVI to quote two of them) will only be released on PS5 and other platforms but much later on. Before the PS5 Pro price was revealed he thought that it'd be a little above the price of the PS5 when it was released so he considered upgrading from a PS4 to a PS5 Pro. However, when Sony announced the console price, he started to wonder if it was worth it to buy it since it'd only be to play games, and since he also needed to buy a PC to start a twitch channel with one of his friend in which they'd talk about mangas, animes, games, football(soccer) and music. He still said that the PS5 Pro graphic performances and the fluidity of the games ran on it were unmatched compared to its competitors and that it was hence worth its price. As for me, I don't play much games, first because I'm not good with a gamepad lol, and second because I can't even play games due to my laptop specs. I have an i-3 laptop with only 4gb of DDR3 RAM and an integrated GC so I can't run (m)any games and softwares. So I'd really like to win this giveaway so I could offer it to my brother, occasionally play the few games I'm interested in (Kingdom Hearts III, GOW saga, Batman series), discover new ones and learn 3D modeling and animation on Blender. I'm hoping for the best 🤞 (Sorry for my english I'm not a native)
Hope I win the PC man. It will go to great use for sure as I am trying to get into streaming more regularly on Twitch and I need a decent enough PC to make it happen! I already got my Quadcast X microphone, got my webcam, got my tripod, got good lighting, brand new L shaped desk and no PC 😂 so yeah all I need is a PC to complete the setup and we’re ready to rock n roll!
Hello, i am really interested in getting the pc for game development every time i am using the game development app on my School laptop it starts lag as i add more assets and scripts to the game. This would be a game changer to have the PC and i would greatly appreciate it. The PC will be used for more than just gaming.
I've always preferred PC for the piecemeal upgradability aspect and the myriad of use cases it has over consoles, but this is one of those rare cases where I can really see why someone would want a console for anything other than game exclusivity.
The only problem is that to have a $700-800 pc, you gotta use outdated/used hardware that has a high chance of malfunction over time. The ps5 pro is relatively newer/cleaner hardware, but it is outdated compared to more recent pc specs and power. Regardless, the $700 pc you guys made works and is awesome.
Not to mention the performance you get for the power consumption. Just the 3090 uses almost 4x the power to achieve what the 4090 does with 1x. A laptop is the closest you can get to the PS5 efficiency without breaking the bank (because there are enterprise GPUs that have the performance of a 4090 and use less than 50% it's power, but cost 5k+ $)
@@Jigaboo1929 Supposedly the 5090 is 70% faster than the 4090, so despite the higher power draw it's still more efficient. The question is at what range, because most GPU's need around 40% of the max power as a minimum threshold to render games. For example, my buddy's 3080 Ti needs at least 140W to render games as the minimum frequency for 3D is 1665 MHz. Any lower and the power is insufficient to activate the transistors. My laptop's 3070 works from 40W out of 115W.
I’ve always loved console and its convenience of being able to move it from place to place. However, on my best friend introduced me to the world of PC gaming I was obsessed. The customization and rooms for upgrades is just the natural way things should be in gaming IMO.
The upgradablity of PCs is great sure you can add more memory to consoles, but that's it. The only thing I have against PCs is I go to my friend's house often, and PCs are too cumbersome to move around a lot.
I’ve been watching a ton of videos of the ps5 pro and it’s price point and I still can’t see myself spending that much $$$ on a console when in reality I could easily buy equal if not better PC components for a little bit more $$$
Your point about being able to upgrade PC components is what keeps me in the PCMR domain. For me it just provides way more variety of uses. I might steal the work excuse and use that on the wife to allow me to buy a new PC in the future 😅
Great video!! Still saving for a pc over the pro right now. However, your video has my second guessing myself.... decisions decisions!! Good luck to all those that are entering! Thanks again for all you do for the community Power GPU
Gotta say, I would choose the PC over the console just for the variety of things you could do with it outside of gaming. Even if the PS5 Pro might outperform the PC, the fact that it can get somewhat close is good enough for me.
How is the controller input lag for the PS5 Pro? I play rocket league on a dying 5-year-old $500 Black Friday deal HP "compact gaming tower" that I would like to replace. I have an Xbox series X but it still has the console controller input lag.
I got my Alienware Aurora Ryzen Edition R14 from Dell for under $1000. RX 6600 XT. I used to build my own machines with new parts only to save a few bucks, not worth the hassle. Alienware knows which parts play well together. Dell will send a tech to you for repairs free of charge for the first year. Good luck getting that with used parts from e-bay. With a PC you can virtually emulate most older consoles as well as Arcade games through MAME.
Pretty much always been in the PCMR crowd, even though I have the PS5 and tons of games due to being a PS+ member for years. That AI integration into the Pro's GPU is a really interesting upgrade.
Good comparison. I guess it's a personal preference, a game console which can do only that and some exclusive games or a pc which can still game and do a lot of other stuffs.
Your parts choices seem decent, but I feel like I would chose to pay more, if I wanted to build a budget PC to have better "future proofing" since that would be the point. Save more in the medium and long term. In this case I would go with AMD (AM5) for the CPU, since it can be upgraded way longer in its life cycle. Also noteworthy, with a PC you can build it incrementally, use some older parts now and upgrade over time, so long as the foundation (Mainboard) are future proof you can upgrade slowly and thus keep up to date. Upgrading the PS 5 pro, not easily and probably not at all for some things...
This was a really good comparison between the two powerhouses! I’ve honestly been looking to build a PC myself within the $700 range and believe me without a MicroCenter nearby it’s a struggle. I’m always wary of used PC parts but considering you went with quality brands (aka not ASUS) I’d trust this thing with what I like to do most which is gaming. The best of luck to anyone who enters the giveaway, whenever that drawing may be. Greets from Twitter :3
I also thought about the pricing to the output of the ps5, and i said it before (also out of touch with consoles in general) but $700 really doesnt seem too outrageous. But Pc will always win out, to me, most scenarios.
as someone with a PC that can't run BaldursGate 3 very well, I prefer console for graphics and frames, however, I always will be a PC gamer. There's just more range of games, and controls.
as much as i have always loved consoles I do think I am converting to PC now. Something about PC building and hunting down the right hardware and being able to customise things really speaks to me. And then lets be honest game mods do come in to it 😂
Honestly if you start gaming into adulthood a PC just becomes more appealing. Like you said building it yourself just makes it more personal and special.
@@alphaj9 and I built it all from used parts on marketplace so the time spent researching parts and compatibility and searching for the best deals just made it all a lot more interesting than going and buying a fixed unit console with no personalisation

So grateful for all the opportunities you guys give :)
Just wanted to check and see when/where y’all were planning on announcing the winner of the giveaway?
Can a new PS5 Pro beat a *used* $700 Gaming PC. The title is misleading.
The PC would’ve been more than $1,000 if it wasn’t refurbished 😂

Really like the fair look between the two options and possibilities of pc vs the ps5 pro. Keep it up guys.
Oh man, that pc is niiiiiice. You guys kilt it with the build.
Appreciate you guys for all that you do
I definitely want to buy a pc from you guys. I saw the custom one you made for Valkyrae and it was SO sick.

Love the comparison and openness in the video.
Awesome video, you covered every detail, as always, great work 🫶🏻
wow this was a way more level headed comparison than most of the other guys talking about the PS5 Pro
Good luck on everyone and thank you for the great content guys
Nice video Jese good to see a video that takes the console seriously instead of memes.
Great video! Appreciate not hearing a negative rant about pc vs console !
thanks for the good info/comparison!! Clear and concise.
As a PC builder myself, I always love your PC builds! Allows me to see what I want to build next and when I have money. :D
Love these comparisons to understand what goes in to the consoles.
