I am 66.5 years old & My hair has never been more than 6', but, I'm determined to break this generational curse 🙏
You can do it!
Amen!!!
Amen! I love that this generational curses will break😂
Lol
Generational curses were broken on Calvary's Cross when our Lord Master and Savior Jesus Christ said... It Is Finished and by The Power (Abba Father) of His Resurrection. Thank you Jesus. Amen and Amen ✝️🙏🛐🕊️
Can we talk more about fine curly hair, which is sooooo hard to retain length due to being extra ultra fragile? 😭😭😭
Protein treatments
@@ElegantPaws01 I do these
I know certain herbs like henna can increase hair’s diameter. There are others out there as well that won’t change hair color if your hair is on the lighter side.
@@TracyD2 I use henna regularly. It has not increased the diameter. I’ve accepted that I have fine hair lol genetics
😩😩😩 Same boat as you! Henna user as well
It's a struggle for sure
I tried lots of things but ultimately yeah, the best results happen when i bite the bullet and am consistent with my routine, just sticking to what works even if it's a lot 😂
My goal is mid back lenght. In Jesus Name!!!🙏🏾👏🏾💃🏿
I’m a retired cosmetologist/barber instructor. I’ve tried putting these very tips in the mind of my five daughters. I used to put permanent waves/Jheri Kurls in my customers hair. I put them in my mom’s hair and I remember how their hair grew because of how they moisturizer it. I took care of my moms hair and it was below shoulder length. I treat my hair the same way and moisturizer several times a week.
Thank you so much for all you do!
I’m past shoulder length and pushing for below bra length. Maybe one day before I take my final journey to my heavenly home it will be waist length. 😁
❤❤❤❤❤
I wore my shoulder length relaxed hair down every day for work and during the pandemic with nowhere to go I just kept it up. Imagine my surprise when at the end of the year my hair was past my shoulders. Now 3 years later it is mid-back and i am going for waist length by next year 2024.
My goal is shoulder length twists. With shrinkage I think it'll be closer to mid-back length. I'm already a little past shoulder length and following the advice you've shared on your channel I think I'll be there by the end of 2024! 😄
I am at mid back length now and I've been here for years! I'm definitely experiencing a plateau. My goal is waist length
i am at the same level and experiencing the same struggle for about a year now. i am trying to focus on my diet and supplements as well as less manipulation to avoid breakage. i am hoping by the end of the year i will see a difference.
@@tmt436 yes! We got this girl . I literally stocked up on products . Doing a hair challenge and hoping for the best
Im 44 years old and my goal is hip length. Im at mid back length now but I'm premenopausal so I am experiencing a lot of dryness with my hair 🤷🏾♀️
Or just be happy with Mid back length 🤷🏾♀️
I’m almost 56 and relaxed. My hair is shoulder length and my goal is to get to mid-back. I love your videos because they are essential for every hair type/style. Thank you.🥰
I'm stuck at waist length now, thanks to your tips!
Can't wait to hit tailbone length 😍😍😍💕💕💕💕🙏
Waist length
As soon as I have an autoimmune flare, mine falls right out of my scalp. It is very frustrating. I would settle for shoulder length.
Right now my goal is to thicken it.😢
I have autoimmune problem once I start taking medication my hair got thin. I grown it to bra strap length. I put two perm in it cutting the perm out little by little. I going back to natural. Keep loving it the growth will come
@@MsC165 Thanks for the encouragement.
At least shoulder length, I have been washing. Deep conditioning every 2 weeks. Moisturizing every 3 days or less trying to stay consistent. Drinking plenty water, eating greens, exercising, and eating salmon 2 times a week. It’s a journey. I am thankful for my growth so far!! Praise God!
I'm just trying to get my hair healthy again since 2016.
Prayers and fasting! I am trying to get to waist length. Currently bra strap length. Thank you for your helpful tips!❤
You're welcome! :-)
Question, would the pumpkin seed oil/ Gingko also work topically to extend the growth phase?... Curious.
Loved this video! I learnt a lot am super excited.Watching from Zimbabwe. Mid back is my goal! You have such beautiful energy by the way and you're also beautiful
Tail bone length in curly state! ❤️💕
“My Hair is loved so it flows and grows.” 🦋🦋✨☀️
My goal is to get my hair thick and healthy.
i've always been really addicted when it comes to hair and scalp care, your page really help my scalp and hair care more healthier than everr!
I love your channel. I learn so much from your videos. Your channel is my favorite for natural hair.
My hair length goal is mid back. I’d be so grateful for that. I will definitely incorporate these tips. Thank you 🙏🏾
My goal is tailbone length! Thanks for all the helpful tips 😊
girl i love me some you! we will be working together soon , i am manifesting it! As a cosmetologist/ instructor, i stand STRONG behind your content!!!
Excited to try this.
Yes, keep me posted! 😊
Consistent trims and protective styling. My hair is healthy even mid back. Waist length is the goal by the end of the year.
Please consider boosting your audio when editing
Happy Friday ❤❤❤
Hii 👋🏾👋🏾 My length goal is waist length, I was almost there but wasn't consistent with the trims and had a major cut.
Now I'm back to taking care of my hair, I hope to get to my goal in 6 months 🙌🏾🙌🏾
My goal is to get my hair to bra length, but I'm stuck at mid-back. So I'm going to apply these tips. Thanks!
My goals:
To be more consistent
To build healthier results
To get out of this growth plateau
Wonderful info always. My goal is to have healthy hair and to be able to retain length. Tyfs✨
Where is your wig from? It looks great!
At 39 years old, my hair had never been at shoulder length. I’m determined to grow it to shoulder length
Great video…..Great Info! My goal is mid-back length (pre-shrinkage). I transitioned for 7 months before doing the ‘big chop’ 1 yr ago. My hair has grown 6” in this 1 yr (post big chop) and hangs apx 4” past my shoulders when wet. Now that it’s Summer, I am full out wash-n-go’s but will change to twists that I will wear mostly covered with head wraps during the Winter bec my hair will rub against the turtle neck sweaters, etc that I wear in Winter which will definitely result in serious breakage. I am consistent with weekly wash days in Summer and every 2 wks in Winter.
I would like to reach armpit length 😩. I’ve started back incorporating the Aphogee protein treatments. I’m able to spend more time with my hair as my schedule is much less hectic. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress. Thanks for these reminders 😇
Waist length (20"), because I remember when i was last natural as a teenager (before i relaxed it) it was waist length. I went back natural in 2020 many decades later (in my forties), and currently i am at bra strap length, 15 inches. Hoping to achieve and maintain a length of 20 inches.
My goal is hip length. I'm past bra strap length!!! I'm gonna pray on this, he siad " you have not because you ask not "
There is also an exogen phase of the hair growth cycle.
Each hair strand can go through a different stage of the hair growth cycle which can make healthy hair grow uneven.
Rev 21:5
Yes! :-)
Mid back length
Yes you are absolutely right my hair broke off became dry all because I wore my hair out on shoulders for a couple of months I said it was rubbing against my clothes (sweaters)
Dont have a goal, i prefer health but i will also take length
I would like mid back length
I've been at shoulder length for years. I would love to have mid back or waist length hair.
I would be happy to be stuck at shoulder length! My goal is shoulder leangth in twists or plaits (braids). I can't quite get to collar bone. I have had it in plaits (and covered with fun head wraps) for about a year now and NOTHING. My hair is very healthy, so I had just decided to increase my moisturizing game (cuz the last time I had long hair was in the jheri curl days). After watching this video, I'm even more committed to that. I will probably try supplements and protein treatments soon because of this video, but I want to focus on the moisturizing part first (since my hair is so healthy).
Thanks so much for sharing this video!! Very helpful and informative. My hair goal is waist length. Is already at mid back. I want to have it at waist length. God bless and enjoy your weekend 🙏🏾🥰🌺
You're welcome! You're definitely almost there!! :-)
As always great tips! I was bra strap length when I was last relaxed, so I would Iike to get to that length when I stretch!
I love the education on all these new imgewdiebts/supplements I have never heard of! Also my goal length is tailbone length and is currently at the bottom of ny ribs/almost waist length. Been stuck here for almost 2 years and trying to grow it longer!
May you do a video on how to close the hair cuticle?
Water is my best friend. I drink plenty of it and everytime I shower my hair get wet. I also make my own leave in conditional one may from Cocoa butter and the other made from cupuaca butter. My cocoa butter leave in conditioner also works as a detangler it instantly softens my hair. Some of the ingredients include: xanthan gum, glycerin, aloe juice, sweet almond oil, apricot oil, palm oil, Rosemary essential oil, lemongrass essential oil, clove bud essential oil, lavender essential oil, strawberry essential oil, and peppermint essential oil. Oh yea cetyl alcohol is also one of the many ingredients. I used soft and silky emulsifying wax.
My hair has always grown shoulder length. It grew to my back once and started breaking off. My goal is to get it to mid back length without it breaking off.🙏🏽💕
At mid back length now, but a goal of hip length. Still learning. Like my hair needs a once every 6 weeks protein treatment. But alternating between a protein deep conditoner and moisturizing weekly. Also a bond treatment monthly.
Can we pls get a video on the difference between keratin treatments and relaxers ?
Bottom of the knee length! I suffered some heat damage from a silk press, but I still desire that length. I haven't cut my yet because I'm not emotionally prepared to do a mini/big chop. I'll cut my ends little by little until the straight strands are gone, and I'll do protein treatments, Indian aztec clay washes etc to get her back as well as leaving most forms of heat alone. 😊
My goal is waist length. I'm currently lower mid back. Maybe another year? And I'm 51, so don't give up yall!
I have the length and would love for it to be thicker.
As long as it will grow🫶
A couple inches pass the shoulder 😊
Go girl! You can do it! :-)
I would be happy with shoulder length
I discovered your channel not long ago and I am absolutely in love. Thank you so much. I would like to develop my own hair care line and I already tried, I made my own shampoo, conditioner, deep conditionner leave in and butter but I faced some problems and I think it’s due to wrong formulations . I know exactly what kind of product I want to make but I really need help to achieve this goal. Please Is there any masterclass, consultations or anything that I can apply for to get to you? Thank you 🙏❤️
Wait wig?????????? Uummmm where please? It look so natural! I need the deets!
Hi Tonya! I loved your video, as always! Any advice on incorporating the hair growth oil with peppermint if you have seborrheic dermatitis and can't do scalp massages?
Yes, I deal with that as well.
It’s July 1st, gonna add a large heap of consistency for this round.
I want what I had before Vid and crochet braids. THICK waist length hair!!!
Can you please add a link to your headband wig. Thanks Curly Coach!❤
The short term goal is full healthy mid back length but it's all on the way to waist length hair
My goal is to improve my density THEN length.
My challenge with moisturizing more often is maintaining the hair style. How to I increase moisturizing without turning my style into a fro.
my hair is mid back length and quickly on its way to waist length but my goal is to get back to tailbone length! 😊
I use. Castor oil apple cider vinegar and sulfate free shampoo..hair is thriving
Any suggestions on how to moisturize hair throughout the week…. more specifically, I wear was n go’s, can moisture be added on top on gel? If yes, what is your recommendation ( other than water)? 😇
Iv been stuck for years 😩 Where did you get your wig I thought that was all you lol😍
I’m guilty of the last one. With that being said, I have high porosity hair with grey mostly in the front. I use the Miche products I alternate between the deep conditioners and I use a detox shampoo. I don’t use heat unless it’s for a holiday. I noticed that it’s thinning I believe it’s because if the meds that I’m taking for diabetes and a blood thinner. I have shoulder/ bra strap length hair. I got my ends snipped around Easter time. Is there more I should be doing to help my hair? I love your videos keep up the good work.Btw I’m 68 years old.
Pass shoulder length. Long enough so I can put it in a ponytail or a bun and it would not look weird.
Ive been really zoning in on my hair care habits and I sabotage my hair retention soo much. I found that I buy products based on the idea that moisture really helps my hair grow. Moisture does not help my hair. So heavy butters that my strands cant handle and piling on products. Second, washing my hair more than 1 time a week. My scalp cant handle these products and ends up hurting. Third clarifying regularly, I find my hair thrives better when its a clean slate. Its me im the problem.
I actually had to cut back on natural hair products because of them having too many oils and butters.
@@taylornikiiYes or use very little some people saturate their hair with too much products
I only use 1 product to moisturuze now. I used to do the LCO method but it actually made my hair feel dry and crispy, ironically
I don't have a hair length goal, just healthy hair. Right now it is really damaged and dry. I don't remember the last time I had a trim. I am trying to decide if I will do the big chop and start all over or just get the split ends cut and start taking care of it. 🙄
Mid back hair goal
Good afternoon curly chemist sure you’re doing great. Pls I have a question, can I blow dry my 4c natural hair on low heat settings? Hope it won’t damage my curls? Cos the blow dryer doesn’t have cool settings only cold shot
Thanks
My hair length goal is to be armpit length at the end of the year.
Trying to get healthy hair - thank goodness for K18 and Curl smith bond salve & Sally’s bond pre shampoo. My hair is becoming healthier. My length goals are past shoulder length when curly - wash and go. My 4a/3c curls are touching my shoulders, but when stretched are past my collar bone. Longest strand is mid back. I’ve been trying to get my middle crown area to catch up with my back - kitchen lol - even all around would be a dream
My hair growth goal is waist length right now it’s neck length
My hair goal is midback length ❤
Mid back length when shrunken
Can you do a video on how to moisturize fine hair every 2 days esp lp that gets buildup fast. i wash every 5 days for ref. My hair goal is mid back curly. that's it.i am still at shoulder length. i trim every 6 months but it seems like the hair that does grow within that 6 months just ends up being cut off again by a trim.
My hair length goal is below my breast and specially when it’s curly not straight 🙏💕💕
I’m 57 and my goal is waist length. Healthy waist length. It’s a few inches past my bra now. I know I can do it. If I can resist dying my roots with chemicals. I normally use henna and indigo but I get so lazy sometimes
I’m at bra strap length but I’ll say my goal is hip length as long as it doesn’t feel heavy. My hair was loc’d for 8 years and down to my butt - so much hair - so I don’t want my hair to ever feel heavy again.
I did have a question about your oil rinsing video. You said we didn’t necessarily have to rinse the oil out. So could I shampoo, deep condition, oil my hair and let it sit for 5 minutes then apply my hair butter? I’m high porosity and my hair can handle tons of oil and butter. Thank you for your help!
Can we get a link to the wig?
shoulder length
Wig details please!
I want elbow lenth❤. I'm passed shoulder lenth now but I need to be consistent.
Hey Tonya!! I know this channel is really for the natural women out there , but as a freeform dread head (THE most NATURAL locs out) could you help out the freeform community(after you do that magic research you do ) with a video on Hair Growth , Scalp stimulation and the overall cleanliness of the scalp and hair follicle. I’ve watched your videos since I started 2 year ago and your content is great 😊
Im experiencing soreness at the crown of my head and I also get headaches whenever l wash my hair or even moisturize it
Can I get some tips to help me ??
I just want to get past shoulder length. I have been growing new hair but length retention is my issue. I need to master that so bad.
My goal is mid back length. At least shoulder length
What do I use for dry brittle hair what kind of moisturizer ? 7-11-23
7:38 I am 64 and my hair is currently at just below shoulder length, but I want waist length hair.
I think my hard water has something to do with my issue of not retaining length.
Where do you purchase your wigs?
finally, I have waist length hair but two thirds of it suddenly fell out from the roots. 😭😭
my hair was midback but now am half bold in the back and middle because of anemia and it's so thin in the past that I still have hair. what should I do?
I want to get to mid back length! I’ve been hearing about cloves and fenugreek but I’m scared as my hair is low porosity.
