What a poor customer service, I’m shocked! Why could not they call for you?
Maria Tsipe If you are a black tier member and have a good relationship with an SA in Chanel. You can reserve anything so they are not rude.
Serena b With all due respect, even the middle range stores like Reiss and such, would usually check their system and if necessary, call the store to reserve the item for the customer. The idea of telling her to go check it yourself, when they can just call and check is to me outrageous and very poor customer service by any standards, not to mention luxury brand standard, which you would expect to be above the middle range market. And relationship with SA should not play a role in this basic service, as it is their job and not a favour.

also, what the heck is up with their customer service? chanel in vienna has always taken a look if they have the item i want and reserved it for me. i live a few hours away so going there for several hours and end up not having the item i went there for just doesn‘t make sense

Couldn't they check their stocks in their system for you before you hit the store? So not impressed with their services...but I am glad to see you got the shoes you want :)
They checked but they said they can't guarantee if what the system is showing is correct. That's why I asked them to call the boutique but they said they are busy and no one will pick up :(
