After the offset cut, you could change the bevel profile to .707, it gives a smoother blending between surfaces. .707 profile emulates the 'G3 curvature' that they use in CAD programs.

did you buy your last name or were you adopted
Bools are notorious for bad shading, this is because without proper quad topology and subdivision surfaces, your model is no longer a hard surface model in the VFX pipeline....
so... what do they feed you mate, according to folklore it is whatever comes your way
