Giannis will peak again next year. And I predict we are going to see the best version of Giannis we will ever see. FT shooting in the 70s, finishing at the low 80s, TS% in the mid/high 60s, Elite off ball scoring, Peak Help defense. Elite rim protection. High volume and elite scoring. Overwhelming paint gravity and elite passing and playmaking better than he’s ever been at that. With elite playoff resilience. I think he will peak top 7 all time next year maybe even higher imo.

Giannis’ mid range game is actually pretty decent now and has been pretty reliable this playoffs and it’s going to get a lot better….that jump hook from 7-10 ft, turn around post jumper from 10-15 ft, one legged Dirk fadeaway from 13-16 ft, and pull up mid range from 15-20 ft are lowkey turning into go to shots of his…not to mention I think he will improve his 3pt and post game as well….plus even tho he has great agility, ball handling, passing, and playmaking I think he can even tune those up a bit as well….he will get better each of the next 2-3 years and that’ll be his absolute peak

Dude, the Bucks hit the lottery with this kid from Greece... great character, the biggest competitor in the league and at the same time fiercely loyal? You can't ask for a better player... Giannis will keep getting better and better and he'll be the best player in the league for a decade... I'm from Greece so I obviously love Giannis and wish him all the success in the world but even if I wasn't Greek I think Giannis deserves success more than anybody else in the NBA right now and it's not even close... he has the right mindset... he was raised the right way...
Giannis is a way stronger human being than Lebron, KD, Harden, AD COMBINED... the man is a winner of life... not just basketball... unselfish, loyal, a true family man (not one that shows of his family on TV)... and since you're from Milwaukee don't underestimate the huge role that Thanasis (his big brother) played on this playoff run... Thanasis has always been the guy that helps Giannis mentally when thing don't go his way... and having Thanasis near him helps Giannis a lot... Thanasis was always the big brother that looked out for everyone in the family and I think the comfort of having him in Milwaukee makes Giannis feel so much better...

Yes but his on ball defense point was absolutely wrong. Giannis is one of the best on ball defense in the league especially against 3-5 player and with Simmons he is the only big man who is not a completely mismatch on the perimeter, even when elite ball handler PG ( This man took KYRIE and CP3 for example, like defensive guards themselves could stop them), he either recover very well to contest it, or he is still in contact to gave them tough shots or he made them missed, CP3 and Booker missed a lot of shots when defending by Giannis and he only showed when they made their shots

I agree. Just from this clip, those guards that scored on him were actually still under deep press from him and the shots were all contented by his wingspan. It’s not like they left him in the dust, if that was the case then most coaches would play that, isolate Giannis with a smaller guy and then attack his legs. The fact that they very rarely do it shows it’s not really working.

What the video fails to mention is Giannis' biggest strength, his mentality. Giannis is the toughest player mentally right now. He has those killer instinct which could only be matched by MJ or Kobe.
Numerous times in he tries to chase down impossible dunk attempts. His misses don't seem to bother him. He could air ball a free throw but make a three the next possession.

On Giannis and on ball defense: He's literally in the top 3 best on ball defenders in the league (Kawhi, Jrue, Giannis), coaches just choose to use him in other situations because he's so dominant defensively that they'd rather not have him exert all his energy on ball. By MILES he's the BEST DEFENDER in the LEAGUE against KD vis both stats and the eye test. The only issue is that even GOAT on ball defenders are still going to get beat by GOAT offensive players--their only task is to make it as hard as possible. Can't stop KD but you can make it difficult enough for him in key spots and neutralize him with scoring at the other end. Plus he needed as a help side defender more to erase any team defensive mistakes. He plays a role similar to Kevin Garnett. KG was an ELITE on ball defender but his overall greatest effect on the trajectory of a game was as a TEAM defender.

Personally, I am effusive to see him succeed...especially knowing the story about his parents who had to leave Nigeria (for whatever reson) to the land of Greece. However, he seems to be somewhat haughty and unpredictable in the use of profaned utterances which I detest. As he navigates through the sea of success, he has to remember the true meaning of a humble disposition. It is my hope that he will do just that. I wish him the very best there is. The notion that some players do NOT like him is not easily believable. If they do, it may very well be petty jealous of HIS talent.

At the other end, the recipe for success is to have him play at the 4 in the regular season to avoid him getting banged up by the other bigs, before switching him to the 5 for the post season, where he can play off the ball. He won't need to develop a post game whilst he has his athleticism.

But this playoff run, showed us the peak of giannis, and it was scary. Assuming that they were no superteams with 2+superstars, and there was a balance on rosters, Giannis would have been UNSTOPPABLE for the next 6-7 years.
