I literally just had my first video pick up traction over the weekend (3k+ views) and finally hit 500+ subs because of it! So freaking excited!! It is such a great feeling because I worked so hard on the planning & production. Started my RUclips channel this year specifically on Jan 1st! The tip I appreciate most is paying attention to the thumbnails. While I do, I do realize that earlier on I was for outside opinions on which thumbnail they preferred. It was more so out of insecurity. Since then I’ve tried trusting myself more in that regard. But after watching your video I recognize there’s no harm in getting a second opinion, I could do both! Thank you Erin and congratulations on 300k! 👏🏽🥰
Started in 2016 and did post 140 videos but stopped it several times due to loss of interest / having kids / work / moving countries. Finally, decided to make 2024 my zero year by focusing on consistency and expecting little to no results. I have been posting consistently 2x shorts per day for a month now to boost the algorithm, but nothing seems to be working. Nevertheless, currently working on my future long form videos and decided to sneak in few vlogs in between as my content is niche based. I had this idea and wanted to experiment on the same and see how people receive it. I love watching vlogs but not comfortable to vlogging as I feel I don't provide much value to my viewer. I have picked your PodVlog style and gonna replicate it. I see more content creators are doing it these days. PS - I deleted / hide most of my videos due to spiritual reasons but working on remaking them as most of them are niche based. My goal is to post 2x times a week. Hope algorithm favors my efforts. Good luck to anyone working hard on RUclips. ❤

I started back on RUclips this year and decided I would be consistent Jan 8 and I only had 51 subscribers. I set a goal for 100 by Jan 31st and posted everyday since then but I wasn’t going to stress myself out about it , and I’m already almost at 300. I’m setting a goal for 500 by Jan 31st bc why not 🤷🏾♀️ I’ve got nothing to lose. I did this by being on shorts and just being shayna and talking about what I love to talk about most which for me is Jesus. I WILL be hitting that 100k goal and I WILL be monetized on RUclips this year 🙌🏾 and If anyone has made it this far to the end I pray that you will be monetized as well and hit your 100k ! We can do this !

Thanks for this video. I listened to it while deep cleaning my house and thinking about how to start longer form content. I particularly enjoyed the part about just getting the video out there and working hard on your thumbnails to attract people to your video. I have done a whole bunch of shorts but long form content has always been the goal. But of course we all have to start somewhere in even if our videos aren't that great to begin with. My goal is to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly parenthood and sharing helpful tips and tricks so hopefully I'll figure out how to make my platform take off. Thanks for all your videos. I have an author channel and I am hoping to at least get 1,000 subscribers by the end of the year. These tips have shown me the areas I need to improve on. I will definitely utilize RUclips shorts because I’ve seen more views on there than my actual videos.
I started my channel in 2023 and I’m nearly at 100 subscribers. 2024 is my year to go all in on my channel. Thank you for your practical tips on how many times to post for long form and shorts and about the thumbnails. I’m going to really double down on them!
This is the year that I have decided to take RUclips seriously but I only have 145 subscribers 😢…..getting 500 would be a dream. Congratulations to you though 🎉

I can be a witness with growing my community by shorts! I had been working for YEARS to grow to 1000 subs. Then when I started posting my shorts it definitely expanded my reach and I was able to grow to 1000 subs!

I started back on RUclips this year and decided I would be consistent Jan 8 and I only had 51 subscribers. I set a goal for 100 by Jan 31st and posted everyday since then but I wasn’t going to stress myself out about it , and I’m already almost at 300. I’m setting a goal for 500 by Jan 31st bc why not 🤷🏾♀️ I’ve got nothing to lose. I did this by being on shorts and just being shayna and talking about what I love to talk about most which for me is Jesus. I WILL be hitting that 100k goal and I WILL be monetized on RUclips this year 🙌🏾 and If anyone has made it this far to the end I pray that you will be monetized as well and hit your 100k ! We can do this !
I just hit 1k last July god willing with consistency and commitment I can hit 10k I feel 100k is being over delusional for me right now lol
I just hit 1k Friday and I was extremely happy🎉🎉🎉

Thanks for this video. I listened to it while deep cleaning my house and thinking about how to start longer form content. I particularly enjoyed the part about just getting the video out there and working hard on your thumbnails to attract people to your video. I have done a whole bunch of shorts but long form content has always been the goal. But of course we all have to start somewhere in even if our videos aren't that great to begin with. My goal is to talk about the good, the bad and the ugly parenthood and sharing helpful tips and tricks so hopefully I'll figure out how to make my platform take off. Thanks for all your videos. I love seeing all your content. It's always very informative.

I’m reBuilding my channel this year and to help me stay on track with at least one quality video per week I’m recording at least 3 before I start back posting on 2/14. I was already planning to mix up my content but stay under the same “umbrella” so thanks for your tip & confirmation of my thought process..
